May 19,2020Found the company via google search. Called them - very responsive calling back. Sent drive in, they kept letting me know status. They retrieved all the data I needed from a damaged hard drive. The price was above the highest estimate on the website - but I was thinking that would be the case. They mailed back an external usb hard drive w/all the data. Very good service - Highly recommended. I have been in the IT business for over 30 years - these guys are who you need if you must get your data back!

May 11,2020I had totally amazing experience with the company. The entire process including phone calls and UPS shipping of recovered data took 5 days. The price tag was high but it was not for my personal use, so I gave it a go. After all, I needed data files of experimental lab work accumulated within 12 past years and I got it. Special thanks to Jason who got stuck due to Covid-19, in St.Louis while being on business trip from the UK!

May 06,2020May/2020 I had a external hard drive stop working. The people at Fields Data Recovery were very nice. They explained the process well. They arranged for the hard drive to be picked up. They informed me when it arrived. In another day or two they told me what the problem was and what they could recover. Within a few days days it was completed and shipped back. For me, the whole process took under a week. I had a hard drive go bad once before and went through a very popular Brand store (BB) and it took several weeks before I got the drive back and for bigger $$. I would definitely use them again and recommend them to my friends.

There was only one incident where my drive was confused with another customers drive, but that was cleared up promptly when the error was discovered. The customer care was excellent. I would recommend this company for data recovery.

Apr 21,2020They are rip off artist They are rip off artist! DO NOT DO NOT TRUST THEM half of the reviews with 5 star 🌟 were by them! I sent my equipment to them, they gave me this outrageous price so they delayed sending my data back over one month cause I refused them! Then I sent it elsewhere they told me it’s had been open so it can’t be recovered now! I called FDR and asked y they do that? So they then apologized then told me they would eliminate $200 off price if I allowed them to do recovery I agreed then they tacked an extra $80 for their fee😬! I sent it back to em 3 was later I gave Mgr a call, who would NOT return my calls but sent an email "WE WONT CHARGE THE $20 to send ya back to u" but not getting ya refund for a repair that never happened! THEY DELIBRATELY DAMAGED MY HARD DRIVE SO NO ONE ELSE WAS ABLE TO FIX IT IF THEY COULD NOT...I sued them N WON! Run run run from this scam, they're scammers! NOT EVEN WORTH ONE STAR, NEG 5s***😈👹

Apr 21,2020Field Data recovery did a fantastic job to recover the data from my failed hard drive. It was easy. Talk with them on the phone, they emailed a shipping label. I shipped my drive to them. I received a call back with a quote. I received an USB hard drive back with my data on it. I then received a follow up call to make sure everything was good and what I wanted to do with the old hard drive. There were several very good options. I chose to get it back. I couldn't be more pleased. I believe they are very reputable firm. They took great care of me. I'll use them again should the inevitable happen again. Great job guys.
