I was extremely disappointed with this management company. We travel to Destin, FL multiple times a year (for about 20 years now) and have used numerous rental companies. I have never felt the need to give a review until now. We reached out a couple times before we stayed in this particular house to see if we could walk through it. Each time we called and spoke to one of the operators they were very unhelpful and downright rude. Twice in particular we spoke to a woman named Janet. It was clear from the beginning that she was not willing to help with any questions or concerns. Also, during our stay there were a list of things wrong with the house. We completely understand that the houses we are staying in are rental properties, so we do not expect perfection. However, we do expect the rental company to try their best to fix things the best they can. We told them that there were 3 things we would like them to fix immediately... First being the elevator (my dad has trouble going up and down stairs, which is one of the reasons we chose this house to stay in), the fridge (during the day it would get up to 57 degrees, I had to keep my sons milk in a fridge upstairs so it wouldn't spoil), and the front door handle fell off the first day we were there (self explanatory why we would need this...). We called on Saturday and no one showed up until TUESDAY. The other items were never fixed, so hopefully the guests who stayed next had better luck. Again, we don't expect perfection. However, I do expect decent customer service and that is not at all what we received.

Our stay at The Stork's Nest was fantastic! We had 13 adults, five toddlers and one baby in our group. The house was large enough to accommodate our needs! We loved the private beach and the heated pool on the front deck. Also, this house is well stocked with everything needed for cooking and serving meals. Although I do wish property management would invest in single serve coffee makers. There were two Mr Coffee style makers, but had to wait for slow drip coffee every morning! UGH! Overall, an excellent vacation house everyone in our group really enjoyed!

The Four Waters house was truly incredible! There was more than enough room for 12 people and the outdoor space was breathtaking. The biggest downside was the pool door alarm that makes an incredibly loud beeping sound when you access the back doors. There is a button to press before exiting to turn the alarm off for 15 seconds, but there is no button on the exterior so it goes off every time you come inside. Two of the ice machines didn’t work, but the other two made up for it! Overall an excellent stay and would definitely vacation there again!

We rented this property mainly for the pool! I requested 7 days in advance to ha e the pool heated. The pool was not heated the whole vacation!! It was freezing! We could not use it! The house had a great location and comfy beds. But should not be listed as a five bedroom!! The bunk room is so impractical! Leaving little kids up that high away from bathrooms and adult rooms is not a good idea.

From beginning to end our experience with fivestar resorts was great. The home I selected for my family vacation was beautiful and we had no complaints. The weather was perfect for walking the beach and bike ridding. We had plenty space to spread out and enjoy ourselves. This is an annual trip we take and we will definitely be returning customers. Thanks Fivestar for making our experience great. We needed it.

Millenia was absolutely GORGEOUS! I honestly wish I would’ve booked more days! The house was perfect, the area was quiet, and well maintained! We have actually planned to make this an annual getaway, but at MILLENIA! My only issue was that we could not get the Bluetooth speakers to work. There may have been some remotes that would’ve helped w/that, but again...this was one of my best getaways!

Our family of 20 had an amazing experience staying at the Beautiful Crazy property. Although we had a couple of minor maintenance issues, the team at Five Star were quick to respond and send out a technician when needed. Thank you for offering this home for those of us visiting the emerald coast!

This was our 3rd time to stay at the Emerald Belle. It is our "home away from home" go to house in Destin and we won't stay anywhere else. Five Star Properties do an incredible job and make everything so easy. From the moment I called to make our reservation to the day we checked in and the day we checked out, they went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed and ask for! The home is breathtaking and so peaceful! It has everything to make your stay memorable! In a way, I hate to keep bragging about how wonderful it is because I am afraid it will be totally booked when we go to make reservations next year!! We take our two daughters and their families with our 3 granddaughters and the memories we make are priceless! In fact, the oldest granddaughter ask me last week if we could buy it! LOL! I wish!! We will be back!!! Thanks for the memories!

Vacationed in early November at Emerald Belle, Destin Florida. You travel to the Coast in the Fall to experience cooler temperatures. We were disappointed that the fireplace was not operational. We found the carpet in the master bedroom to be soiled/stained and the golf cart that is “available” means you have to call the rental company, fill out waivers and then rent the vehicle. The information regarding the property suggested that the golf cart was included. The weather was absolutely breathtaking and we had an enjoyable week however we were surpised that a 5 Star Rental was not quite up to our expectations.

We were happy with the house and location and amenities and that's why we are giving it a 4 star. But we didn't give it a 5 star because the beds (mattresses), outdoor seating around fire pit, and broken fire pit need to be updated or improved.

Our family rented this beautiful home for my 50th birthday. We had the best time, the house was so spacious. Being right on the beach is wonderful. Well worth the price, we will definitely return.

Five Star Properties was very helpful and professional from beginning to end. They listened to any concerns we had and resolved any problems we encountered promptly. Over the years of traveling with family to Seagrove, Watercolor, Seaside areas we have used several different property management companies and Five Star stands out to us.

The house was nice but the housekeeping was lacking in some areas. Dirt, debris, food, etc left under the living room sofa and chairs. They took out the trash before we arrived but did not leave any trash bags for us to use. We contacted FiveStar and was told someone would bring some trash bags to us but never did. Ultimately we purchased some to use. The pool was cloudy enough that you couldn't see the bottom and the pump didn't seem to be running well. We called a couple of times and was told someone would come out to check out the pool, they finally did on Wednesday of that week I believe, half way through our trip. I understand things happen sometimes but when you're paying $15,000 to rent a house for the week, you shouldn't have to deal with these issues, let alone make multiple calls for someone to come fix them. Also, you're still holding $1600 of my money when we were forced to reschedule(Florida mandate) due to COVID-19 and are unwilling to refund it. The week we were rescheduled to was $1600 cheaper but you're unwilling to refund it citing your contract. However people that were forced to reschedule to more expensive weeks, you made them pay the increased cost. Taking advantage to make sure you get it coming and going.

Nice home. Kitchen a bit small but all 12 of us ate at the large table. Downstairs bunks were perfect for 4 teenagers and they had their own media room and access to pool. Great access to beach.
