The service Craig Dickson provided as conveyancer was nothing short of exceptional. Friendly and professional, Craig provided regular communication with me throughout the process and hastened any outstanding work or documentation for swift completion by vendor solicitors and the estate agents. I was put at ease during what is a stressful process of buying a family home by Craig’s work. This all meant that the deadline for completion was met well within the timescales required. I would highly recommend Fletcher Longstaff as your conveyancer if you are purchasing a property, you will receive superb service at the standard cost when purchasing a property.

Oct 27,2024We used Fletcher Longstaff to purchase our new home in Bath, and everything went through flawlessly. Having a conveyancer who is really on top of everything is essential, and Craig Dickson and his colleagues were consistently responsive and efficient at every turn. Emails were usually answered within a few hours, and they handled all communications and queries promptly—from myself, the estate agent, the mortgage provider, and the seller's solicitor. Even though the purchase took place in the middle of summer, with holidays on multiple sides including ours, the entire process—from instructing the solicitor, arranging the mortgage, surveys, and engineer’s assessment, to conducting searches and exchanging contracts—was completed in only about eight weeks. I believe it could have been even faster if I had been quicker on a couple of tasks, like scheduling the survey. I was particularly impressed that Craig thoroughly reviewed the survey document and addressed legal considerations, such as ensuring planning permissions were in place for all structural changes in the property. The Fletcher Longstaff online portal is also very user-friendly, mapping out each stage so you can see exactly what’s left to complete. It provides clear prompts for any actions needed on your part, and all documents are securely stored in one place. Overall, a very smooth experience during what could have been a stressful time. The whole process was quite drawn out but the responses from Fletcher Longstaff were always prompt and, when needed, very helpful. I am based on the UK south coast and the whole process was managed remotely, negating any need to travel on my part.
