Have to say I just read the only bad review and I'm not sure they are writing about the freetobook that I use??? I have been using the booking system for nearly 5 years. The helpdesk are very friendly, knowledgeable and always quick to sort out a query. The system itself supports not only my camping but also my glamping - that's how flexible it is, and you have every conceivable option to make the system work around the way you want to run your business. Freetobook has allowed my business to grow without complication, and with their team on hand for support. So easy to use and with an added facebook community group, webinars and online tuition units it makes it simple for anyone to use, and works for any diary and booking based business. The diary is free to use and we use a gateway payment bolt-on for a small yearly fee....everything is completely transparent - no complicated contracts and sneaky stealth type bills. Uber reliable and now an integral part to the business that I couldn't do without. Thankyou folks.

as a small hostel every penny counts. they suck you in with a low price for their service which is much cheaper than most but its a trap. this is just basic spreadsheet . if you want to do anything else it all costs extra, None of the other features are from them its all other companies "partners" that also want a user fee and a % of the booking, they all have a "one time connection/user fee" £40 to £60 to start using the optional feature that you cant get back if you don't like the feature and if there is a problem you get the old "that's not us send them and email". its very over complicated, hey farm you out to other companies and they offer no support for anything other than the spreadsheet for your bookings. emails to their help desk have 2 to 4 day waiting period. i liked their interface but you need a computer science degree to use any of the features there are 15 drop down menus with another 15 categories and then their submenus . i used it a year and still cant find everything. some people like this but i have better things to do with my time. but you can tell the integrity of a company how they treat their customers. now with the covoid lockdowns here in scotland hospitality was forced closed from march 23 to august 15. we were closed for 5 months. the whole industry. hotels b&b and hostels. they want 5 months fees even though everyone was forced closed by the government. when i queried why we were being charged for the lockdown i got the answer" pay the outstanding invoice your account will be suspended. they refused to discuss the reasons for billing while in lockdown and blocked my account, i couldn't receive new bookings or access my current bookings on the system, on a friday afternoon i might add. they then told me that they needed to charge everyone a service fee for the lockdown as they had a severe drop in revenue... I guess the feel they have the right to extort money from businesses just because they lost money in the lockdown. by far the worst customer service. and add 2 or 3 features on the base price and they are more expensive then others
Freetobook has made my life so much easier and saves so much. Double bookings have been eliminated and the our process so much more streamlined. Family run business who couldn’t be more helpful and very quick on communication. Thank you Freetobook for all your help over the last couple of years, I’m so pleased I found you.
Freetobook is excellent. I have used freetobook since I opened my guest house in Blackpool, almost four years ago. The team are friendly and helpful, they will give you as much help as you need. I must say that freetobook saves me money and time, I can manage everything in one place. They listen to feedback, the new guest messaging system is excellent, it automates all the things that take time. freetobook also integrates with Stripe payment gateway, which also saves time.
We used freetobook with a previous property before moving to Eviivo when we moved house. Worst. Choice. Ever. Now back to freetobook and we are back to fantastic service as usual.

Free to Book is an online diary management company for guesthouses, hotels etc. The software is quite comprehensive, very flexible, pretty self-explanatory and, for the tricky stuff, the customer support is first class (take note trip advisor!) Problems are resolved quickly and some of the difficulties which may arise through use of online booking agents are filtered out by simply using the Free to Book diary to manage all other channels (airbnb not currently a managed connection but all other the major channels are there). Online bookings, payments, contacts are all easy - really recommend!
I have been using freetobook.com for almost three years and have found them to be both knowledgable and helpful. Whenever I have problems with a channel manager, they always help and solve problems fast! They also listen to feedback too. I whole heartedly recommend freetobook.com

Oct 07,2020Joined freetobook earlier this year - I'm certainly no computer genius but the support and help desk made it straightforward to get connected, even when I made several rookie errors, and the system is easy to understand and to follow through. It certainly gives me all I need and more besides. At the moment I'm not using all the add-ons, but then they aren't required to keep the business operating effectively. Certainly much cheaper that paying to develop my own system or using OTA's. So far well worth the small investment required to set up.
