Sep 14,2023I have been using FreeToBook for more than a decade. And very happy. This summer I thought to be clever and changed to a different online reservation system. BIG MISTAKE! After 6 weeks and hardly any online bookings, I am back with FreeToBook and I am so happy. Within two days I got almost as many bookings as with the other system in 1.5 months. FreeToBook seems to communicate with Google so effectively that it brings in the business. Last but but least, the staff are super friendly. In particular Heather Scott and Gemma Byers who welcomed me back and sorted out the mess I had created. Thank you, ladies. Very much appreciated.

Jul 04,2023We used Freetobook when launching our Glamping site and found the operating model ideal as a startup. Nothing to pay until you add services such as online payments or messaging which become a necessity as our business grew but then we had the funding to cover the costs. Even with all of the paid for added extras it is still cheaper than most competitors. We also like the fact that some services can be paid for monthly so that when we shut in the Winter we won't have to pay for Reputation Suite when we won't be using it. The customer service is excellent too. There are various online help resources such as "How to" videos from Freetobook which are informative and easy to follow but also an online community of other Freetobook users in the Hive & Facebook group which help with so many queries and ideas. On the occasions we have wanted to speak to someone in person we have got through to the team in the office easily and they have resolved our issue quickly. We would thoroughly recommend Freetobook and are pleased they are rolling out new services and updates to the system

The good thing is you can subscribe to as many of their services or stay with the basic package it is very flexible to your needs. Any questions or issues that we have had are answered and dealt with promptly and in such a way that is easily understandable. It was easily integrated into our own website with booking buttons and reviews and they understand the need for small businesses to get and to focus on direct bookings which the system handles perfectly. In the 8 years new services are regularly added and it has developed into important of our day to day business life.

It was via Freetobook and their comprehensive website with its quick tutorial videos that I was able to set up a booking platform for my small holiday rental including a deposit payment method. Their website has lots to it but it is fairly intuitively set up so navigating around it is OK. I have found Freetobook a friendly company who have always got back to me to answer any direct questions, and offered great advice when necessary. I feel like they are there for me should I need their advice or help. I recommend them!

It makes booking really easy for the guests, and the software is simple and intuitive for me to use (with help on hand if I need it.) I can easily manage bookings, the diary and guest communications. It makes financial sense too as I'm not paying massive commission to an OTA (online travel agent.)

Jun 13,2023I use Freetobook as the booking portal for my B&B. It is very user friendly and simple to navigate not only on a desktop but a mobile too. There are tutuorials to help you set up your booking system and following the step by step instructions makes your life so much easier. It can be used for a stand alone business like ours or if you have multiple properties to manage. There is a great support package and you can confidently ask any question knowing you will get help to aid what you are trying to accomplish. Freetobook can have links to OTA's if required and the rates pushed through to these can be adjusted very easily. You can also buy into a link to online payment method which makes it easier for guests to book and pay at the same time. The messaging system to guests is a great way to make sure all the necessary information you want to give guests before arrival gets to them at a time you choose and thus setting their mind at rest that they are going to have a great stay. I highly recommend Freetobook to both new businesses and to those up and runnimg who feel their current system doesnt quite hit the mark. Finally you can join the Freetobook FB group and hear about new initiatives and get support from staff and fellow users.

Jun 13,2023I started to use Freetobook a couple of years ago and have slowly begun using more and more of the great services they offer. I have never had a minute of trouble sorting things out, and now use their booking calendar, automatic messaging service, Stripe payment method and their way to access Google Hotel Ads. Extremely happy with the service and everything they provide. They are also trying to push direct bookings as much as possible, to deter customers from booking via the big OTAs that take so much percentage of our hard earned profits, which is a great philosophy for anyone to adopt. Well done Freetobook, keep up the great work! :0)

Feb 14,2024First class product and service! Freetobook have been absolutely amazing, I can not thank Heather enough. We were with another provider for over 15 years but was always reluctant to change, worried about the switch over etc. However, I needn't have worried as the process was made completely seamless with the care and attention Heather provided. She was there on hand to provide as much help as was needed to get us up and running. The system is so easy to use and provides way more functionality than our previous well known provider. I personally particularly love the messaging function. My only regret? not joining sooner!
