Apr 25,2024Well organised, everything ran smoothly. The only slight criticism is that there were quite a few vegan wraps and we didn't have any vegans so not many were eaten. Maybe more veggie and meat/fish would have been better for our group. Other than that it was great

Room temperature was an issue with no remote control available unless requested - worth checking/advising as part of the induction. This was sorted once reported at the break. Also usual experience with the cold corridors going to the toilets.

Apr 02,2024Once again, we had a good experience at Friends House. This time we used the Sarah Fell Room on the first floor. One of our attendees is a wheelchair user, but the excellent wheelchair lift (which converts from a sturdy staircase) made his experience a very good one. Thanks to Christian for explaining how to use it! FH staff were, as always, very helpful and I've only dropped one star because of the slight disruption to the meeting due to the noise when setting out the refreshments on the mezzanine level. I realise that this is an open area within the meeting space, but I think that more gentle handling of the glass bottles and china cups would help, as would the provision of soft cloths or mats on the rather resonant servery tables on this level. Otherwise it was a great space in which to meet.

Feb 14,2024Our one-day workshop worked smoothly from start to finish. I had a dedicated contact person from my first enquiry. All queries were answered promptly. On the day, all the staff without exception were friendly and very helpful. The room was lovely, the food was good, the facilities were excellent, down to rustling up some extra cushions for a delegate. Would definitely come back.

Jan 30,2024Benjamin Lay Suites: lovely, bright, colourful and spacious rooms, great hybrid AV set-up and technical support. Excellent catering service. Giving it a 4 as customer service required an unnecessary large amount of emails and sometimes the lack of resolution/confirmations generated unnecessary stress.

Jan 29,2024Friends House is conveniently located as it's within easy reach of all main train lines into London. The stand out though is the welcome and helpfulness of the staff. I'd highly recommend the Bowl Food lunch option, which I receive many compliments on from my meeting delegates. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Friends House.

May 06,2024The venue suited our needs very well. The staff on the day were very helpful with technology, and requested information given. Lionel was also helpful in the run up to the event. The tea and coffee was delayed a couple of times which was less helpful.
