Founded in 2014, Furniture Direct Online, a family business with over 40 years of expertise in the furniture industry. From the beginning Furniture Direct Online has been focused on supplying the best quality furniture at the most affordable prices for our customers.
In 2015 we moved to our brand new 80,000 sq ft warehouse in Wakefield, West Yorkshire. This progress allowed us to stock hold over 20,000 sofas and achieve fast, reliable deliveries.
In 2019 we faced the challenge of the global pandemic. With thousands of sofas in stock and the lounging lifestyle, we all became accustomed to during the lockdown. This is where Furniture Direct Online stepped up, to become a household name. Delivering over 100 sofas per day nationwide.
Here we are now, in 2024 with our new look and thousands of happy customers. Our mission still remains the same, striving to bring you incredible quality furniture at the most affordable prices with the absolute best customer experience.

Exceptional service from furniture direct, had one small problem that was rectified and left me a really really happy customer. I have previously for months had some real let downs from other big name sofa suppliers who promise the world and can't deliver, where as furniture direct can deliver the promises. I literally ordered this sofa the week before Christmas and it was delivered to me BEFORE Christmas Day... I don't think any high street/major online sofa supplier could have done that with the short time frame given. Delivery was smoother than your favourite peanut butter, drivers on site got the items into my preferred room checked I was happy with the parts/colour/position and left I think they was in and out delivered in no more than 20 minutes, watching them move the sofa parts through some tight gaps and door ways in my 1920's built house was a good watch as they had clearly done this many many times before. Finally the sofa itself - I'm still pinching myself on the quality and comfort of the sofa it really is superb, you can go spend 4k on the same size and style sofa and I guarantee its not as comfortable as furniture directs stock... This sofa was the perfect size to fit in my front room (u-shape) and without going bespoke I wouldn't have quite got the fit I have with this sofa. If I could upload pictures on here I would as I'm so so impressed with this company from start to finish, the delivery, the customer service coms to the sofa itself. If I needed to buy a sofa weekly I wouldn't be going anywhere else and thats final. Thanks again Furniture Direct Online for such a smooth professional service. Forget the big high street shops these are the people you should be ordering from.

Ash and the team have wonderful customer service and I will definitely make more purchases with them in the future.

Jan 10,2024Such amazing service from carly was there from day 1 for me answered everything i needed to no and was happy to answer everything i asked them and got me just what i wanted and soon as placed my £50 deposit for my order not even a hour later got a text for when it be delivered with was 3 days after i placed my order so fast and drivers phoned a hour b4 they be here and soon as they got here so friendly and brung my sofa in and put it just where i wanted it for me and cash on delivery just as they say .. sofa so well made top quality even better than you see in shops these days speshally the fabric on the top of the base so much better thsn my old sofa i got from a shop ... i am so happy with my sofa so much 100% top quality and so cumfy and the service you get from them messageing them on fb is just 100% amazing and i was so unsure at 1st because i could not see with my own eyes before i brought my sofa but i am so glad i did because 100 % top quality and cumfy and i would say better than you see in shops aswell and such amazing price aswell i can not be more happy with my sofa and the service i recived .. and would tell anyone 100% to order from this company you will not be dissapointed at all you will recive just what you want and get such amazing service ..thank you so much for such amazing service and such amazing top quality sofa and alot more range of sofas than you will see in any shops like dfs ect would tell anyone to order from this company 100% you will not regret it any will be ordering agsin from them myself thank you so much for such amazing service from carly from day 1 to the last day checking everything was ok after i got my order and everything was ok but so nice of carly o make sure aswell such amszing service from carly thank you so much .

Dec 21,2023The sofas are fabulous really comfortable and recline well. The delivery turn around was good . However we were extremely unhappy with the delivery. The driver refused to bring the sofas into the house and dumped them in the pavement and got into his van . Not good service

Dec 20,2023Advertising on the website on the 11th of December that if the order was placed that day it’s guaranteed for Christmas delivery but then on Wednesday the 13th I received a email to tell me my sofa wasn’t coming till well after the new year so I phoned & spoke to someone was offered alternatives but nothing like the sofa I had ordered originally i eventually found a sofa they had in stock & it should be delivered tomorrow morning hopefully 🤞

Dec 15,2023I saw this sofa at my friends place and I liked it ,she gave me the name of where she bought it and I went online and ordered it everything was good and but before I ordered the sofa I contacted the seller they was so helpful and I asked them when I’m having my order they said in a week but it arrived within 3 days, the sofa I bought is the London silver u shape, my son likes it and my friends like it too and I love my sofa too.The 2 delivery guys were very polite and professional and they was very helpful, they took my sofa on the second floor without complaining. Dec 13,2023Bought the Meridian U shaped sofa. The delivery guys were great, they had to take the front door off to get it through but they were very helpful. The sofa fabric is so soft. It's really comfortable and excellent quality. The staff at Furniture Direct Online kept in contact with me throughout the whole process, from ordering to after delivery. I'm one happy customer.
