Founded in 2014, Furniture Direct Online, a family business with over 40 years of expertise in the furniture industry. From the beginning Furniture Direct Online has been focused on supplying the best quality furniture at the most affordable prices for our customers.
In 2015 we moved to our brand new 80,000 sq ft warehouse in Wakefield, West Yorkshire. This progress allowed us to stock hold over 20,000 sofas and achieve fast, reliable deliveries.
In 2019 we faced the challenge of the global pandemic. With thousands of sofas in stock and the lounging lifestyle, we all became accustomed to during the lockdown. This is where Furniture Direct Online stepped up, to become a household name. Delivering over 100 sofas per day nationwide.
Here we are now, in 2024 with our new look and thousands of happy customers. Our mission still remains the same, striving to bring you incredible quality furniture at the most affordable prices with the absolute best customer experience.

Mar 11,2024I ordered the Sloane sofa and chair last Monday. I was a bit apprehensive at first as I had been scammed previously however the man I spoke to on the phone settled my mind suggested I spoke to the finance company and forwarded these reviews, I decided to go ahead with my order. I was told delivery would be 7-10 days. I received a message on Friday to say my sofa would be delivered on Sunday. The courier kept me up to date with times. The sofa arrived when they said it would. I read reviews previously about the delivery guys being rude however that was not my experience at all. They were very pleasant and helpful. They delivered everything where I wanted it. The one thing I would state is you have to unpackage and set up the sofa on your own, it was pretty straight forward. I’m so surprised with the quality and size of the sofa. It totally exceeded my expectations and I’m over the moon with it. Overall the customer service, delivery and product were fantastic and I would recommend this company to others.

Mar 06,2024Went to the show room so I could see what they had in person Ash was on hand to answer my questions but wasn't pushy at all. I placed my order on the Monday and it was delivered by Friday they accomodated my delivery time when I ask for it to be delivered after 2pm. The sofa is beutiful and very comfy. Will be reccomending to family and friends

Mar 02,2024Ordered the Verona 2+3 from this company, and I'm so happy with it. The quality of the sofa is brilliant, and it's super comfy too. It did take a little while to come due demand. However, the company kept me well updated and customer service we're excellent. Would definitely recommend.

Mar 01,2024Loved the sloan corner since I first seen it last year. Decided to order the corner and chair in October 2023 all communication was great, kept me informed, delivery was actually quicker than first said, again great service. December 2023 with my daughters 16th birthday coming up I thought I would freshen up the cushions, washed on a 20 degree wash then hung outside to dry, placed the covers on the clothes airer overnight to make sure they were properly dry before putting the cushions back inside the covers this is where the problems started, covers had shrunk quite considerably and didn’t look half as nice as they did a few days earlier, contacted furniture direct online by email no response, message them on fb to be told they were closed for Christmas and someone would get back to me after new year, I then messaged again on 04 Jan 2024 asking if the office was open to be told it was and someone called Carly would get back to me on Monday which she never did, getting frustrated I raised a dispute, furniture direct online were happy to replace one cushion cover but when I repeated that it was infact 5 that’s when they told me I would have to pay as this was obviously not a manufacturer fault, no way was I paying more money when the sofa & chair were only 2 months old! After a lot of back & forward, emails, pictures, speaking with the dispute team it was found that because no washing instructions were given to me either verbally or written (no washing instructions anywhere on the sofa or chair) that they should replace all the faulty covers again this was a farce but eventually got delivered by dpd today. It took exactly 10 weeks for me to receive the replacement cushion covers, I think they were just trying to keep this going for as long as possible hoping I would back off as everyone knows if you order from these Facebook pages you can have ur order within the week 😂

Feb 29,2024Superb , don’t live anywhere near the showroom so had a FaceTime call too have a look around the showroom because we could not decide between 2 colours, it was the perfect solution. Decision made on the Saturday and ordered on the Monday morning and got my delivery on Wednesday afternoon. The sofas are lovely and we are delighted. This company are quick efficient and would recommend to everyone, thank you.
