Received garden dining set on the correct date. Box was wet with a gooey substance, Panther, the delivery company said they complained to the warehouse, but was told to still deliver. Lucky all items in the box were not spoilt. We then found we had two wind guards and no fire pit. Called them and they asked me to take a photograph of the boxes with the labels showing, which I did and sent to them by email. 2days without hearing anything from them, I called and was told it’s going through their process, but was not given a date when the fire pit would be delivered and the additional wind guard collected. 2 days later had a phone call from them and was told to take yet another photograph, but this time inside the boxes because it seemed they didn’t believe what I had told them already, why I wasn’t asked to do this 2days before is beyond me. Still I have not received the fire pit and still they haven’t provided a date when I will receive it. Very poor customer service, the operators who have answered or called me seem like I’m the problem not them.
This is really not the place to spend your hard earned money, a constant moving feast of broken promises and no communication. The online chat forum wants to fob you off, I was told "Monday next week" 8 weeks later I am still chasing for an update.
I ordered my garden furniture just over a week ago I was given a delivery date everything went very smoothly I was kept up to date all the way they even delivered with in the 2 hour window they gave me I would definitely use them again
Seems to be a recurring theme here. I ordered a patio set on 27 March, before you checkout you select your delivery date. I was offered 31 March but this seemed unachievable so I plumped for 8 April and paid at checkout. Sitting at home on 8 April having taken the day off work I thought I better phone and check when delivery will arrive. Stupidly selected sales instaead of customer services and got the most apathetic man ever who insinuated it was my fault the delivery was not coming and it was tough and he hung upon me. Phoned back and selected customer services and was told that I should have an e-mail, I only asked when they were going to tell me that the delivery was not coming and they blamed it on Nova. I was told my furniture was in stock but at a warehouse in Cambridge and the supplier would not release it....hardly my problem and a bit odd to say the least. After being told that the items were in stock but there was no delivery date and no apology I was left withy no choice but to cancel as I have no confidence in the company. As expected the refund does not happen as quickly as they take your money.....funny that.
I took a day away from my business to await delivery on the 28th March 2022....by midday I was wondering what time my delivery would arrive as I'd had no comms with info except my original purchase email stating the date mentioned above. I call Gardenman to be told that it hasnt been dispatched and that I needed to 'reset my expectations' by a very rude and self opinionated member of staff who then refused to let me speak to a member of management and proceeded to tell me I should email in.....a week after I sent the email I am still non the wiser and a day of income out of pocket.......Disgusting service and I'll now be requesting a refund! ...... As other reviews suggest DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!! UPDATE - 6th April 2022, While its dissapointing that it took this review to instigate some action on Gardenmans part, thanks should go to Laura at Gardenman for the call today, She explained the situation as to why my order is delayed and I wait with baited breath to see if the actions being taken pay off and what Gardenman will do to compensate my lost earnings.
We had previously been into the showroom in Lowestoft and seen the furniture but had to wait until we had a patio to put it in! Very helpful staff The only slight issue we had was with the delivery company that was used. The link from our order number didn't work so I wasn't able to track. I phoned gardenman up and the man on the phone was very helpful and although he couldn't get any further information about delivery times either he said that I could phone later that day of it didn't arrive. It did come soon after that so all good We haven't had chance to use it yet but look forward to when the sun comes out. Good price as got during a winter sale
Our experience of Gardenman was excellent. The price was competitive, they had stock, delivered as and when they said they would and I have no complaints. Based on this. I would happily use them again
Seriously, don't. There's massive supply chain challenges now, we all get that. But that does not excuse blatantly lying about what you have in stock presently, changing the story each couple of weeks, or actually getting angry when being asked if there's an update on an item ordered 6 months back. They will do what they want, when they want, and even on the bits that everyone agrees on and isn't dependent on supply chain (like shipping a multi part order all together rather an as separate) they will still just do what they feel like on the day, and then act all beligerent about it. There's other resellers for everything they offer, and I'd be impressed if they managed to be worse.
Great service and very friendly, helpful staff. Dealt with both Ryan & Darren and both were extremely helpful. Ordered 2 items on different occasions and both arrived next day as stated. I will definitely buy from Gardenman in the future. Nice to see a helpful, efficient company fulfilling orders.
Went into our local store wanting to purchase some garden furniture. After finding the furniture cheaper online we asked if they would price match it as it states they have a price match promise on their website. When I asked about the price match in store the sale guy turned around & said no they wouldn’t be able to price match as they wouldn’t make any profit from the sale. I don’t understand why they advertise that they price match when they clearly don't - false advertising!
Looking at other reviews I am obviously not alone in considering Gardenman’s service appalling. I ordered, and paid for, a garden parasol in April with a delivery date in June. I still have not received it. Nothing has been communicated to me from Gardenman except when I have contacted them - which is very difficult to do as their Customer Services department does not reply to emails. Tracking my order just results in ever-changing dates and these only relate to when the item will arrive at Gardenman, not with me. I understand about global delivery problems but this level of service is totally unacceptable. Do not order from them.
We ordered a Nova Pergola through gardenman at the end of June with an anticipated late august delivery date. This was put back a couple of times due to circumstances beyond their control - their communication was swift and informative and it actually arrived before they’d stated. On constructing the pergola we discovered that one of the louvres was damaged. We spoke to Chris via email and he couldn’t have been more helpful, locating and dispatching a replacement very speedily. We then realised that actually another louvre was damaged and again Chris rectified this incredibly quickly with no quibbles. Genuinely couldn’t be happier with the service we’ve received from Gardenman and would use them again in the future.
Ordered on a Sunday night & promptly delivered on the Tuesday. Highly satisfied!
So the drama with this organisation continues. I ordered an Nova Milano 8 seat Oval Dining Set in May. Delivery was in July, then August, then October. On 1st October Gardenman brought only the 8 chairs and no table! So I sent it back, preferring not to ask my family to eat on their laps. Gardenman said they would phone and didn't, so I phoned today (5th October). After waiting 5 months the table was damaged. They claim they will have to ship a new one from China, no expected date other than next year. I have now requested a full refund. I have no words to describe how frustrated and angry this organisation has made me over the last 5 months. Legal action needs to be taken to prevent Gardenman from treating its customers so disgracefully. FYI Supply Chain seems to be China->Nova (importer)->Gardenman (UK seller)->Mattressman (Logistics/who knows?)->PantherGroup (Courier) I would never wish anyone to lose their jobs (except the director), but seriously this organisation should not be allowed to trade. Do not risk your money!
The Nova Cambridge corner sofa and table set ... this just arrived today and I am really delighted with the product. The delivery men were very helpful and took the largest box away with them. The sofa and bench seats are in perfect condition, but I can't unpack the table yet until assistance arrives, as it's heavy. I ordered it back in June and was informed that delivery schedules were all over the place, so I just decided to be patient as these are very difficult times for us all (the pandemic and Brexit being unprecedented occurrences!)
Ordered Nova garden furniture yesterday and it arrived today. Excellent service and product looks good.
Item delayed by 3 months. Told contact would be made to arrange delivery for a convenient day. This didn’t happen just received a text to say when it was coming. Spoke to customer service who said they would rearrange delivery. This wasn’t done. Emails to customer service just ignored. Unable to contact customer service over the weekend. Panther delivery 24 hour response time. The absolute worst customer service and experience. Should have gone to white stores instead! Same item, same price but excellent customer service!
I placed an order in April 2021. I paid IN FULL. I was expecting the delivery in June 2021. However, there was delay after delay after delay. I’m still waiting now!!! I understand delays happen, but not keeping the customer up to date is a CHOICE. Something they CHOSE NOT to do. The only update I got was when I initiated the contact and after a while, my emails were just ignored. I emailed the Director who gave me yet another delivery date stating he Would email me when the items were in the warehouse. However, since I had no email and the delivery is due tomorrow , I emailed the Director. He ignored my first email so I emailed a little later stating I would be going to Trading Standards. This was his response : Alex 2 million emails a day and I haven't read any today As I'm v busy in the yard. Your order is scheduled for tomorrow address changed AK Andrew Kerry Director Considering I paid in full in April 2021 and have been waiting since June for my delivery, I think I have been very patient and the Director of the company thinks it ok to be this rude! Totally unprofessional and uncalled for.

Apr 22,2023Ordered an Epsom Bronze dining set with table and four chairs. Delivered on time on Thursday, opened boxes today, Friday and unfortunately we had been delivered the wrong items. As it was too late to ring, have emailed company to rectify the issue. Will see how quickly they resolve the issue of them delivering the wrong items to us.
