Jun 08,2017We booked though getawaydealz for a 3 night/4day stay in pigeon forge, TN. Our room was about $230 including tax for our whole stay, which was a awsome deal considering the average cost of our room per night was supposed to $179. We didn't get to choose what day/time our presentation was,which was a bummed bc it rained 2 of the days we was there(the days was was going to choose for our presentation) but instead they scheduled ua for a noon appt on the funniest day of the week. That again was not a big issue, just would have liked the choice. Now, here is the big kicker on why this didn't get 5 stars and I am still extremely aggravated with and will tell everyone to not book through here. Our deal came with a "$50 dining voucher" that they didn't want to give me. I had to find my email and prove that it was given to me. When I get my voucher I find out it is for a scam company online and indeed NOT a dining voucher! The only place I can even use it at home is for Hardees and it is spend. $3 for a buy one get one coupon. Total rip off. the people beside us came to the presentation via a booth person in the strip and their gift was 6 tickets to a diner show. Talk about a mad woman after being there 2 hours and 15 minutes. The timeshare thing was a good deal. We was actually about to do it till they told us how expensive the down payment was and we had to declined. I would love for our dining voucher to be replaced with something in return but I doubt that will happen.

Jun 07,2017I was not told that reservations cannot be cancelled. There was not enough communication as to what to do or where to go for the presentation.To pay $199 plus tax and hotel fee about $34 is expensive for just 2 nights [ one room with double bed] and attend half a day of presentation. We decided to stay for one more night just close to the hotel we were booked at and we paid $69 for the same kind of room.

May 25,2017When I first booked this in February, I was promised a 3 night stay and a hundred dollar voucher. I checked into my hotel and was told I would be staying 2 nights. I thought that is ok I can deal with that. At the end of the tour, my wife I decided to buy. I was ok with the mix up on the nights stay, but upset on the $100 voucher. I was not offered this at all and had to ask about it. After waiting about a half hour I ended up with $50. So this is why i am giving 2 stars.

May 14,2017Everything should have been in working conditions before you put someone in the cabin. We had to call maintenance out for the ceiling fan didn't work and the hot tub wasn't hot. Then there was issue of the cleanness of the cabin which it wasn't the refrigerator was stuck together because it wasn't cleaned after someone spilled sticky stuff inside of it I had to clean that up and then most of the dishes I used I had to wash them first because they was put up dirty. Then there was crayons all over the place and under the beds hadn't been swept cause someone left a house shoe under one of the beds. So that was our experience with the cabin. There's no carbon monoxide detectors and no evacuation plans anywhere with what happened with the fires you would think these would be safety issues you would have in place. We went driving around through the cabins and there's not even one exit sign in case something like that would happen so we was a little concerned about that.

May 09,2017Good experience, just be aware that you will likely have to commit to a sales presentation about buying a timeshare as part of your trip. While this took about three hours out of one of our vacation days (it was estimated to take 90 minutes), the trip cost was very reasonable and GetawayDealz staff were honest and communicative about the package requirements. Overall, we had a good experience.

May 08,2017The agent from Travelldealz.com was really nice, and helpful. The deal was was definitely a great price. However, I did get what I paid for. The hotel accommodation was horrible! We were there for 4 nights/5 days, and each and EVERY DAY there was nothing but ghetto people yelling, kids playing in the hallways, and hotel security did nothing. The room itself was smaller than average, the bathroom pipes howled really loudly, so much that the bathroom door had to be closed at all times. Our stay was absolutely MISERABLE! And this was our 15 year wedding anniversary. Never again! I gave 2 stars for the horrible accommodations; the agent that booked this was a pleasure to deal with.
