Feb 09,2016The family decided that holidaying in India over the Christmas period was just what we wanted. But where to begin planning? We found Global Travel and spent some time speaking with Rajesh about what we wanted to do and see. A really interesting itinerary was put together (based on one of Global's tours) that took in all kinds of requests and we set off for India full of confidence and expectation. Everything was perfectly arranged but just in case we had any problems we were supplied with a mobile phone and contact details, it was never needed. Top quality service and a great holiday. Next stop, with Global's help, Vietnam.

Jan 21,2016We really enjoyed this holiday. Its probably ideal for someone wanting an authentic Indian experience. Accommodation in the national parks is simple but clean with food ranging from good to excellent (as long as you are comfortable with Indian vegetarian cooking. There is usually one meat dish available for those who can't do without). All staff without exception were friendly and helpful. We went in January which is the Indian winter and the dry season. Nights are cold but days are nice and warm. Make sure that you take clothes that will keep you warm during the early morning game drives and will cope with the dust thrown up by other Jeeps. Hotels normally bring tea or coffee to your room to make the early morning starts a little easier. One even provides hot water bottles to counter the cold nights. Nice touches. The naturalists and guides do their best to find the tigers in the forest. We had three wonderful sightings - about 15 minutes each with the tigers between 20 and 5 metres away. We felt that this was a good result given that tigers are so endangered. Obviously, though, there are no guarantees. The temples at Khajuraho are mind-blowing too. It's difficult to believe that they date back to the 10th century. If you're looking for a five star experience this holiday is probably not for you (although the hotels in Delhi and Khajuraho were very comfortable). If you have a sense of adventure, love wildlife and enjoy being in the forest, I would recommend it without reservation. We both felt that we got the holiday that we were promised when we booked it.

Jan 11,2016My virtual vacation had already begun when I received the neatly drafted, detailed itinerary from Globe Travel Centre. I browsed through the websites of the lovely places that we were to visit. No sooner did I realize that their choice of hotels and suggestions for various tourist spots was truly amazing—far away from the commercial crowds, and right amidst the natural and scenic beauty! So, I was all eager to experience the essence of the God’s Own Country in the true sense. The most important highlight about Globe Travel Centre is their dedicated staff. Each person associated with them exemplified a business sense of responsibility coupled with a personal touch of humanity. Be it their cheerful relationship manager, the disciplined driver, or the knowledgeable tourist guides! They all made us feel at home all the time. In a week’s time we travelled and marveled the beauty of the God’s own country— the lush green tea plantations at Munnar, the meandering valleys of Thekkady, the picturesque Periyar, the thrilling experience of the houseboat abode at Allepey, the enchanting private beach at Kovalam, and the serenity of the Shree Padmanabha Swami temple at Trivandrum. We were privileged to experience the sanctity of the famous Swami Vivekananda rock memorial at Kanya Kumari too! Globe Travel Centre had made best ever arrangements for us. We missed nothing, neither the traditional Kathakali nor the Kalari Payattu. We did the best ever shopping. And of course, our taste buds savored the flavors of authentic Kerala cuisine all the time! In a nutshell, our Kerala holiday was just awesome. Globe Travel Centre organized a memorable vacation for me and my family and we all have fondest of memories that we will cherish for a lifetime. I strongly recommend you to travel with GlobeTravel Centre if you want to have a picture-perfect holiday.

Their claim of providing a ‘holiday of a lifetime’ was not merely a sales cliché but one that they delivered in every aspect. The expert suggested a tour itinerary that made it a really memorable first time tour to India. The arrangements from the time we were picked up at the Airport through to when we were dropped back were perfectly organised. We couldn’t have felt safer and more looked after. This has been our best holiday experience by far.

The owner of angel trumpet villa Mr.Staney,down to earth person made our stay memorable at Thekkadi. Our driver Sivan was very polite and helpful in guiding us the sightseeing places. Definitely in future we would love to go with globe travel centre.

Jan 05,2016Excellent hospitality received at all hotels especially Angel trumpets home stay.All the hotels were very good with good food. No discomfort was felt during the entire journey. We were received with a warm welcome by Sapna madam at Kochi who gave us all the details of our stay and tour. She is really very pleasant person to meet. Globe travels you have one of the best PROs. We were given good transport facility accompanied with very good, sincere, honest, helpful and polite Mr. Shivan. He is a very sincere and loyal person and guided us very well throughout the tour. I am really grateful to Globe Travels above all Mr.Rajiv for making this trip memorable for us with all the lavish hotel stay and hospitality.Kerala has maintained its tradition and culture, a state truly Indian with its rich heritage and nature. A true God's Own Country. I would like to go to Kerala and even other tours with Globe Travels. I would suggest Globe Travels to expand their tour services in other states of India also. Jan 04,2016Globe Travel helped us organise and then book our recent holiday to Kerala. We wanted a diverse mixture of destinations and levels of accommodation and that is exactly what Globe Travel gave us. Alongside this they organised a driver who met us at the airport and, where appropriate, some guides who imparted their vast knowledge - all great for putting the holiday and Kerala into context. The Globe Travel representatives were always on hand, meeting us at the beginning and end of our travels as well as being at the end of the phone if we needed them. We had a holiday of a lifetime and I would definitely Globe Travel again.

All Globe Travel's arrangements worked smoothly from discussion to booking to on location. We loved Kerala and its people, particularly those in the tourist industry. We would recommend the tour company and this Indian state to anybody, without reservation.

Dec 14,2015We have just returned from a fantastic 11 night tour around Kerala with Globe Travel. I cannot fault the organisation of the tour, the drivers and tour guides provided. There are too many highlights to name, but in particular the Lakes and Lagoons Houseboat and jungle trek/rafting in Periyar were real highlights. The hotels selected by Globe Travel were all outstanding, in particular Xandari Pearl in Marari Beach. I would recommend Globe Travel and Kerala to everyone!

Dec 04,2015We contacted Globe travel and many others tour operators for our first trip to India. They were by far the most efficient, friendly and competitive company who came back to us with their suggestions. Their knowledge of Kerala was truly remarkable -not surprising though as the people you deal with have all lived there and know the country inside out. We received a wonderful detailed information pack - all printed on environmentally friendly paper - very much appreciated during the tour. Their driver Rio who met us at the airport with smiles - although it was 4am in the morning and he had been kept waiting for hours - stayed with us for 10 days and was a marvellous comforting presence with the roads, traffic and driving in India - we certainly appreciated his knowledge of the various villages and towns. . We had five very dedicated professional guides in different areas, who gave us first hand knowledge of their particular subjects whether that was bird life, animals, forestry , tea plantations, spices etc - making us feel like VIPS. We felt all along the way that we were being very well looked after - only a phone call away if we needed anything. We could not fault them in any way - all their choices of hotels, homestays were exactly right for our initial requests for old colonial, no touristy areas and they got it just right. We have just returned knowing we have seen the real Kerala and loved it. We will most definitely use Globe travel Centre again for our next trips. Marvellous experience and we wish them well.

Nov 12,2015We had decided to visit Kerala, India as a special birthday treat, and found the Globe Travel website online. We contacted the travel office and spoke to Charly Jacob who asked what we wanted to see in that region. We gave him a list and within two days he contacted us with a bespoke tour to satisfy our request. The crew at Globe Travel helped us through every stage of our organisation giving advice of what medication needed to be in place and how to obtain our E visas. On arrival we were met and taken to our hotel and it became obvious that our tour had been arranged meticulously to include every detail. The firm's representative in Kerela gave us a telephone so we could contact her in case of an emergency, but there was none. Our driver was a first rate guide with whom we formed a friendly and trusting relationship. He gave us first rate information at every location we visited, and the local guides employed were also able to convey specialised knowledge regarding these. Every transfer was carried out with a high level of efficiency and the choice of hotels etc. were of a high standard, and exactly as we had requested. We are looking forward to our next journey with Globe Travel.

Everyone was very helpful and attentive and we were fully informed about all activities and arrangements at all times. Our driver David was fantastic, very amusing and negotiated the Indian traffic with ease (no mean feat). We really enjoyed it all and there were many highlights which we will treasure. We would recommend this trip and the holiday company to anyone considering a similar holiday.

The actual itinery and holiday surapssed all expectations. Memories we will both hold in our minds and hearts for many many years. The hotels were great. all information accurate and we had such a fantastic time. We may well return to Kerala, certainly India but will also use Global for other holidays in the future.

Charly Jacob at Globe Travel put together an amazing package for us and from the beginning understood our brief and totally exceeded it with the included tours. His professionalism and attention to detail was outstanding and he kept in touch regularly throughout the planning and actual trip. When we arrived at our first hotel, we were met by Swapna, a delightful lady who works out in Kerala for Globe Travel and she provided us with all the information regarding our forthcoming adventure and also gave us a mobile telephone to use to contact her if necessary, We needed to do this on one occasion and she was instantly available with the information required - very reassuring. We have returned home with wonderful memories and I would not hesitate to recommend Globe Travel to anyone. We are already planning our next adventure!
