Feb 10,2015We had a wonderful time and we felt that it couldn't have been organised better for us. We were very impressed with the way everything seemed to flow and there was great support from agents along the way. We liked all the hotels, especially the Spice Fort and Greenwoods, and the homestays were so contrasting, it was extraordinary, one very organised, one very relaxed. The environments were spectacular though and the Ayurvedan massage in the first simply wonderful. We all loved the houseboat and could easily have spent another night on it. At least having two nights we did get a magic 24 hours away from the crowds. The crew were fantastic. Best food, apart from Mannas Veedu. All the guides were excellent but a couple stood out for their knowledge and/or friendliness. We all loved our driver who took us into and across Kerala. Very reliable polite, helpful and friendly. It was good to be able to communicate with him and find out more about Kerala and being Keralan. Overall a fantastic experience and I would certainly use the company again.

Feb 07,2015We wanted to visit Kerala for the first time and selected Globe Travel from their web-site. From the moment we wrote to them to leaving Kochi airport to come home, their organisation was faultless. The hotels and activities they selected were superb, the drivers they gave us were most helpful and the staff in India assiduous in their attention. There was even a staff member on hand at 1.00 in the morning to take our luggage through on the fast track at the airport ! Globe Travel made our first visit to India really memorable and we have already recommended them to many of our friends

Feb 05,2015KTC worked out an excellent and varied personal, semi tailored,tour. They listened to our requests and acted on them. KTC staff and the drivers and guides who worked with them were uniformly thoughtful, informed and concerned. When, in one hotel,, a booking had to be changed, the alternative was superb and two spectacularly good tasting menu dinnes were provided for all four of us as compensation. A marvellous holiday. Feb 05,2015We were met at the airport by our driver for the two week holiday in Kerala. From then on we felt in safe hands. We found all of the accommodation vastly exceeded our expectations and was of a very high standard. Food was very good and reasonably priced. The programme was very well organised, with our friendly driver and guides provided when necessary on our visits. A very varied programme included boat trips, a night on a houseboat in the backwaters, an elephant ride, an early morning jungle trek, a safari trip to see wild animals, a visit to a local festival, local dancing, cookery demonstration,and visits to spice and tea plantations. Quite a lot of time was spent driving but there was still time to relax each day. All this was inclusive in our holiday package. All entry charges were included. We paid for some meals, drinks and tips on top. A thoroughly enjoyable holiday, which gave us a good insight into Keralian life. Highly recommended.

Feb 04,2015Third holiday with this company. Planning next one already. Think that speaks for itself! An amazing varied tour of Northern India followed by a week on a beach in Kerala to unwind all organised perfectly. Excellent planning, arrangements and support throughout. Totally able to rely on people being where they should be at the right times which is important when you are travelling as a couple as we were, and not with a group. Nothing was too much trouble and all our little preferences were accomodated without question. Hopefully Globe will continue to add more destinations so we can continue to travel with them. No reservations whatsoever in recommending Globe Travel Centre

Jan 31,2015Charly was incredibly helpful when I was researching and booking our holiday in Kerala and Madurai. From the moment of our arrival in Cochin everything went like clockwork. Our driver Murali was courteous, amusing, informative and always on time for each journey or outing. Swapna, who met us at our first hotel, checked our itinerary meticulously. All the individuals, from Jithin who met us at the airport through each guide for our various trips, were polite, informative and friendly. Dhofi (forgive me if I've spelt his name wrongly) picked us up promptly at 4.30am to get us back to the airport for our flight home. We had a wonderful time and it was organised perfectly. Thank you.

Jan 14,2015The most striking aspect of the holiday for me was the fact that the Globe Travel expert not only produced the perfect itinerary on paper but one which exceeded all expectations in reality. He obviously has tremendous skill in interpreting client needs. Our driver, after 13 days, became a great friend while maintaining professional standards throughout. As seasoned long haul travellers we were feeling a bit jaded before this holiday but this experience has regenerated our wander lust. Thanks to all involved.

The organisation, care, courteousness and attention to detail were amazing and created for us a very memorable holiday which we will never forget. We really enjoyed our Indian adventure and cannot recommend Globe Travel highly enough.

Jan 08,2015The whole experience was top class. Starting from booking with very well versed and unbiased opinion from the customer service representative to arranging and follow up by them. We were received by a well prepared team leader and taken to the hotel which was top class. All the 5day we were taken care by this team leader. Be it the travel in the boathouse or in the resort we treated as a royal family. I would rate it 5 star. Thank you globe travel centre and looking forward for the next vacation.

Dec 24,2014We were, from the start, impressed by the professionalism of the Kerala (Globe) Travel Centre team and by their enthusiasm to craft the optimum holiday for our needs. They went to great lengths to determine our specific preferences whilst on holiday and ensured that they were met. They kept in regular contact with me as the details of the holiday were finalised and even phoned us on the day before traveling to wish us a good holiday. They provided a truly professional and innovative service yet it was delivered with both enthusiasm and warmth. When we arrived in India, the support we received was to be honest, so outstanding that it left us bewildered! A representative came to meet us as soon as practical and from that moment appeared to monitor every move we made. At every stay on the trip, she phoned us (with almost unnerving precision) as soon as we arrived, to ensure that we were happy with the transfer and accommodation. If we had ever encountered a problem (which we did not) I have no doubt she would have sorted it out immediately. Overall we would like to thank Globe Travel for their outstanding level of support to us while we were in India. I will, of course, recommend the organisation to anyone I know who might want to take a similar trip.

Dec 22,2014We have truly had the most wonderful holiday. We booked a two week private tour of South Kerala and cannot thank Kerala Travel enough for their superb organisation. Right from the start when we were met at the airport and greeted with Jasmin garlands we fell in love with India and its people. We could not have wished for a nicer man than Rupesh to be our driver. He was a true gentleman and he looked after us so well. We were very impressed with the accommodation at all our destinations. We particularly enjoyed our stays at Eighth Bastion in Fort Cochin, Uday Samudra beach resort where we experiened a traditional Ayurveda massage and Kumarakom Lake Resort, a truly beautiful place where I had a cookery lesson. I bought a South Kerala cook book to try and cook some of the delicious South Kerala dishes myself. Thank you for the upgrade to the Heritage Villa with an outdoor Jacuzzi pool. What a joy the bullock cart ride was in Tamil Nadu. We are so glad this was suggested. The visit to the temple in Madurai was particularly memorable. The guide was so good, in fact all the guides at each destination were very informative and made each visit enjoyable. We have been raving on about our holiday to all our friends and we would have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending Kerala Travel company to all our friends and hope that maybe one day we can travel with them again. Thank you for giving us the holiday of a lifetime.

Dec 21,2014The team from karela travel centre were just brilliant , everything from start to finish they were just great we did not have any trouble with the transfer, hotels, and their reps.were great Charly and his team did a fantastic job, very helpful in every aspect, even came to drop us off to airport on the last day, I would recommend any one who wishes to go on holiday to karela. Dec 20,2014Great communication, ability to amend itinerary to our specification. Guides excellent. 1st driver very good but 2nd driver very reluctant to detour to Varkala, which was on our itinerary. Eighth Bastion Hotel very good; quiet location, near town centre, restaurants etc. Munackdal Estate very welcoming. Great hospitality and food. Interesting tour of estate. Kumarakom Hotel (Whispering Palms) nice location but property is run-down and pool was nasty green colour. Varkala beach worth a visit and we enjoyed the collection of shops, restaurants etc. Houseboat excellent, couldn't fault it.. Two nights the perfect duration. Hotel in Kovalam very nice but area between hotel and beach is very scruffy. We can recommend Seagull resaturant on the beach!

Oct 06,2014We enjoyed a 13day Exploration Tour of Kerala, South India visiting Fort Cochi, Munnar, Madurai (in Tamil Nadu), Kumily/Periyar, Kovalakum, a Houseboat and stay by Vembanad Lake. Visited a wide range of sites and experienced the life, culture, religions, flora and fauna of this beautiful country. We were expertly driven by our own personal driver. The guides were all extremely informative and interesting. Hotels were comfortable and the houseboat an amazing experience.Globe Travel & Kerala Travel are an extremely good travel company and would highly recommend.

Sep 09,2014My wife and I have just returned from our most wonderful trip to Kerala on your 6 night Luxury Tour. The arrangements by the Kerala Travel Centre were absolutely first rate from start to finish. In fact I think they can truthfully be called faultless. I already commented favourably on our pre-tour service and the actual tour itself lived up to every expectation. Travel arrangements with Emirates were first class and very much of the standard we have come to expect from them. All flights were punctual and on board service was excellent. The standards for the tour were set in our very first hotel, the splendid Eighth Bastion in Cochin. Quietly understated and elegant, I must give particular thanks to the chef and restaurant staff. Sadly we were not there long enough to fully appreciate their skills but what we experienced was some of the finest food and service on the whole trip and that is saying something as throughout the trip we were constantly delighted by the outstanding food, professionalism and service we received from everyone in all the accommodations. The Coconut Lagoon Resort is just exquisite. As you will remember we booked a pool villa here which was just wonderful. The hotel and gardens themselves are so beautiful and again we would have loved to have stayed here longer. The houseboat trip from here was of course one of the highlights of the trip. A truly magical experience on a lovely boat with an attentive and pleasant crew. Just one very minor criticism here in that Tomy, our Captain, did not appear to speak very much English and his two crew mates, none at all. It would have been nice to have had some explanations of the wonderful sights we were passing but this distracted from the overall experience only minimally. And then on to Marari Beach which again, while busier than the other properties, still provided peace and tranquility in abundance. And a wonderful pool and beach green. Food too here was exceptional in both the main restaurant and the "pool bar". We absolutely fell in love with Kerala and particularly it's people. I always thought the Thais were the "nicest" hosts but I think the Keralese (?) surpass even them for genuine kindness and hospitality. Even the hawkers in Fort Cochin were courteous and charming! And on final word of thanks for our driver Rashid. He was an excellent driver on the crazy roads of Kerala and took very good care of us. Our next visit to Kerala is likely to be a tour of Northern Kerala and we would definitely want Rashid as our driver. Please convey our most grateful thanks to him with very best wishes for his wife and new baby. So once again, our most grateful and genuine thanks to everyone at the Kerala Travel Centre whom we would recommend without hesitation to anyone considering a visit to this beautiful part of the world.

May 07,2014If you are thinking of traveling to Sri Lanka you will probably require some guidance. We had a good idea of what we wanted from our holiday and after contacting Vinesh at Global travel we were able to agree on a Itinerary that suited us. Speaking with people who have experience of the country and the hotels etc made our chioce much easier. The driver we had on the holiday was excellent and was able to follow the full Itinerary. The holels that Global Travel selected were first class and suited us 100%. I would recommend Global Travel to any of our friends.

May 03,2014Booked our recent holiday to India for a party of 6 people through Globe Travel Centre which we found on the internet. Told them exactly where we wanted to go and what we wanted to see. They sorted everything from flights, transport from airport to hotels etc.. We flew to Delhi, then travelled by road to Agra where we stayed in a beautiful hotel The Jaypee Palace. We visited The Red Fort & Taj Mahal. Next day back by road to Delhi. Following day an internal flight to Kerala. While in Kerala we went by road to Appelby where we boarded a rice boat and travelled the waterways by day & overnight. Totally looked after on boat. We cannot fault this Company at all & would thoroughly recommend them to anyone planning a holiday. Excellent!

Feb 18,2015Like other reviewers, we have nothing but praise for Globe's Kerala operation, starting with their patient handling of our numerous questions and queries through the booking process. Our UK phone calls were seamlessly patched through to the team in Cochin and it was great to be speaking with knowledgeable local staff from the start. Arrangements in India were impeccable and we were very well looked after throughout our stay. A particularly nice touch was the provision of a local mobile phone, which we could use at any time to contact their team with any questions or to raise any problems. Our driver was excellent and the car provided was modern, comfortable and, most importantly, air conditioned.
