Recently, they helped me block a server that was spidering my site repeatedly. GreenGeeks has been a breath of fresh air, and I appreciate their attention to the environment with their carbon-neutral infrastructure. Kudos!

Recently, I had a challenge in that the template set I was using had an update issue that froze me mid tracks. GreenGeeks got on the case and had me back up and running in no time. I also appreciate GreenGeeks' overall mission.

Nov 26,2024I've been using GreenGeeks for hosting services for almost a decade. Their customer service and technical support chat representatives are very fast and helpful. I also like the fact they are clean-energy powered, which was a huge motivator for me to host with GreenGeeks because I'll go with more sustainable options when they're available. I've only encountered an issue with hosting recently. If you have a large, traffic-heavy website that takes up a lot of resources or bandwidth, I highly recommend working with support to set up a special server (like a VPS) beforehand to avoid having major issues. Despite our best efforts to work with the GreenGeeks representatives over the course of a week to troubleshoot resource over-usage, our domain was blocked, the website was shut down, and our access was limited in the middle of a very important event where thousands of people were attempting to access our website. This caused us a significant amount of distrust with the client in our ability to deliver services, and caused damage to their organization's ability to deliver for their customers. The team, when notified about the critical importance of keeping our website operational, should have done much better to help us avoid a very damaging situation like this. For this I am deducting two stars, as it was extremely bad for our business. I am hoping that GreenGeeks can work to regain our trust.

As a web developer, I've also used many other companies and what I can say is that GreenGeeks surpasses all of them by providing stellar service and always going that extra mile when needed! I can't tell you how many times my clients have asked me to move to another provider for one reason or another, only to regret it, and ask me to move back to GreenGeeks! Just last week a new client mentioned that he had been offered one free year of hosting elsewhere. I laughed and told him that this free company's servers can't support his website and that we will stay with GreenGeeks! Additionally, I explained to him that with web hosting, service also counts for a lot. GreenGeeks service is 24/7 and always good.

They have a great web hosting service and, above all, an incredible customer service, that never wasted my time and always had a fast and straight-forward answer to my doubts and/or queries. Maybe you would think that is not too significative highlight only the GreenGeeks' customer service, that is more important to know if this company has a solid infraestructure hosting, great stability, good speed, solid cybersecurity, or great cloud storage, but let me tell you that to have a good customer service can make a lot of difference, because can, literally, make your day be more fluid, enjoyable and happy. GreenGeeks has the 5 attributes I mentioned AND also offers a great customer service, that, at least for me, never let me down, so that last-but-not-least detail makes GreenGeeks a company that stands out among others, in my opinion. So, if you are looking for a good and trusting web hosting service, then take a look to GreenGeeks. I recomend it.

Nov 22,2024The worst company to deal with. Only 4 days after I signed up with them, I decided to cancel and go with another hosting company which is more reputable and user-friendly. I was told I will receive full refund. However, they only returned 1/3 of my money and will not release my domain name. They lie, lie, and lie some more. And then, they pretend everything is okay. Do not be fooled by their lower fees—which will go up astronomically after one year. Their rendition of Wordpress is very difficult to use and their support is terrible. That’s why I decided to leave them after only 4 days. And that’s why they have only 50,000 customers across the globe (I don’t believe they even have that many). That should tell you something about their service. They refuse to address my concerns. I’m out of $45 for literally no service. If that’s not scamming people, I don’t know what is. Do NOT choose GreenGeeks as your hosting company.
