Car park: 2*: Overcrowded. Poor in information. Only few disabled spaced. So basically to find a space is the first adventure you would experience there. Cleanless: 1* Park very dirty and worn off. Horrible smell from the toilets, even few meter away outside. The benefits is...it's easy to find them. Attractions: 3* Nice attractions, but poorly organised entrance. To get to the main rollercoster you climb crowded steepy stair and corridor 60cm wide... Waiting time: 30-60 minutes each with disability pass. Without pass?...I can't even imagine how long it would take. Definitely overcrawded! Same to get any food. Waiting times ruin the visit as you spend 90% of the time standing in the queue. At the end you ride/ slide for 3 minutes or get poor pizza and tasteless pasta at the bar. I give 3* only instead of 2* as we went on fireworks day and the show was brilliant. Overall...we will not come back.
Visited the Milton Keynes site yesterday, paid £84 to get in- the place is filthy and run down, the staff are grumpy, the rides are old, the food and drinks are overpriced. The toilets are either out of order, dirty and didn't even have any soap. The kids went in the ball pit and the balls were black with dirt. Never will ever visit again, don't waste your money!
Horrible boring run down theme park. Not many rides and 4 of them wasn't open so was limited to about 5/6 rides my daughter could go on. Staff was slow with the ques to busy talking rather than getting people on the ride. Food is horrible and overpriced. Will never return to this place
They give you discount which they won’t accept and ask you to pay a full price! £30 per child! Must be joking. The rides keep breaking, food disgusting and they charge £30? Joke! Do not recommend. Go elsewhere for the same money or less and get rides that are actually in good order.
Visited Gulliver's Valley, (near Sheffield), for the first time with our 5 year old son. We stayed the night in one of the Pirate Lodges. Positives: Clean park with lots of rides for the younger guests. Low que times, never more than 10 minutes to wait, (mid-week). Negatives: Overpriced food/drink. Quality and quantity of restaurant food was terrible. Service in restaurant was slow and not very attentive. Tables and chairs were dirty and sticky. Cutlery was not clean too. We ended up ordering Chinese takeaway and had it delivered. Breakfast was supposed to be included in the stay but this was only a bacon or sausage bap, they wanted another £5 per person for a full breakfast. Coffee was instant sachets with a pot of luke-warm water. I hate leaving negative feedback for places like this but I do so hopeful that they read them and act on the comments left.
Visited Gullivers Milton Keynes 2 adults 2 children aged 7 and 5. Overall impression was that it’s a bit run down. Biggest disappointment was no management of the queues. Several times through the day we got near the front of the queue and then an adult couple at the front would be on the phone and next thing 6-8 children would arrive! So frustrating! This happened twice while we queued for an hour at the water ride, I did speak up but they just weren’t interested and I felt sorry for the people running the rides as they were on their own, no help. Queue jumping should not be tolerated but would mean more staff so I don’t think it’s going to change. I wouldn’t return
Had a very nice day. I took my 2 grandchildren. When we arrived there my young Grandaughter needed to go to the toilet when we went I have never in my life seen the most filthy toilets This is so disgusting and needs to be addressed
Visited the Warrington park on 18/08/24, the place is absolutely dire, the whole park is run down and broken, most places to eat are closed, paid £40 for nuggets and chips for a family of 4 which took nearly an hour to get and mold came out of the drink machine, lots of rubbish on the ground, all the toilets absolutely stink and are filthy and the baby change area was very exposed and dirty Wait times for rides are well over an hour as they let far too many in and they are very slow at swapping out people and next to nothing for toddlers to do Very disappointed and will never be visiting again
AVOID. Wow where to start. It is an absolute— hole, as soon as we walked in we were faced with rubbish all over the floor dirty tables and the toilets absolutely vile. How they can charge even a penny for this dive amazed me. rides looked like they was about to snap in 2 at any minute cos they had been there about 100 year plus’s. Me and my kids walked out after 40 mins. Yes it was that bad! Save your money and avoid believe me
Avoid. It is a dive. We visited Gulliver’s World Warrington. The place is filthy, litter everywhere, overflowing and broken bins. We witnessed a rat running through rubbish when the park had just opened so it clearly hadn’t been cleaned. The toilets are beyond vile, dried excrement to the seats again when the park has just opened so there was no excuse that this had recently happened. Broken dinosaurs with wire hanging out of them. The roofs of buildings weren’t sound and water was pouring through them. Young, rude and disinterested staff. Actually spoke to a resort manager named Ross who couldn’t have been less interested if he tried. People smoking in the queues alongside children. People with RAP are on some rides made to wait in crowded, loud, enclosed spaces where you’re unable to leave once you’re in the queue. The manager ‘Ross’ claimed that children with autism wouldn’t mind this. Clearly Ross needs some SEN training. It’s not inclusive to people or children with SEN and/or disabilities, and staff in general seem to have no training surrounding this. I would like to know if they’re even DBS checked?! Just awful. Please save your money and go somewhere else. The place is not just ‘run down’ it is falling down.
Over £200 for a family of 5 an hour after entering we where still in a queue for their first ride. I feel Gulliver's world isn't about making memories & seeing children have fun; it's just about making money. We walked out after 1 hour, that's not fun! Numbers should be limited to enhance guest experience. £30pp 1+ hours queuing per ride = 5/6 rides in the whole day. I'll never give them another penny of my money.
Never again, too many people let in,the queues for the rides was ridiculous, why not have two people helping and fastening and checking seatbelts and security of the rides, faster turnover? £££ that's why,ate in the food hall, disgusting, food all over the floor, spilt drinks on the floors and tables and not a single person on cleaning duty, asked a girl for a tray for the highchair, she brought me a food tray, absolute hole just out to get your money, never ever again
Went to the park in Warrington and was expecting to be greeted by a run down theme park that was just a cash grab. I'll admit that the prices were a bit high for the food and drink but the park seemed more than happy with people bringing food and drink from home in fact it seemed to be the normal thing to do. Lots of areas for sitting and eating that were away from the restaurants as well as convenient bins that were kept empty and clean. The lines for the rides were small and quick moving (mostly), the rides were well suited to children up to around ages 11 ish although my 13 year old had a great time. Walked past the accommodation for overnight stays and it seemed brand new and very well kept. Altogether a very well thought out park and a great place to visit, I'd recommend it to anyone with kids.
This theme park is disgraceful from the rude staff and unhelpful and don’t give proper instructions they just look fed up!! To the food that is smart price food from asda for the price of a gorment meal!!! Which it differently wasn’t. No point but ride passes because you can wait for over 45 mins for one ride!!! This doesn’t help disablities and restricts people. If your expecting to go on most rides be expected to take home Tickets that are unused as you will only get on a few rides from 11am till 4pm weekday ovver 15 tickets left and only 4 rides been able to access. It’s poorly maintained the park and need a lot of cosmetic maintaince. It left a dent in my head and my bank account for things that was over priced and promises of access to rides easily When that isn’t the case.
Arrived yesterday at gulliver's Milton Keynes theme park was fine but where we stayed was disappointing yesterday I was charged 25.00 for processo and chocolate which I'm sure I already paid in advance breakfast was bad waited an hour for a cooked breakfast and we paid 5.00 won't be booking a stay and play here again
Took my 2 youngest kids (6 and 14 year old boys) to the Warrington park on the 1/8/24. £20 per ticket is an absolute bargain in the summer school holidays and it was a great day out I must say. Took our own snacks and drinks and glad I did because they wanted £6 for a slush! (about 500ml). But honestly, that was our only gripe of the day, large fries £3.50 which I thought was ok, cheesy fries a fiver but cheese was cheap n nasty. Overall though we had a brill day, lots of rides for my youngest and enough rides to keep my 14 yr old happy. Longest queue was approximately 20 mins for the most popular rides. 40 mins drive from Manchester and NO CHARGE FOR PARKING!!! (looking at YOU Alton Towers). Highly recommend a day out here for kids up to the age of 15. 8.5/10
This place is lucky to get a 1 star after the way me and my family got treated on Sunday 28th July. My son is Autistic and after being here for 5-10 mins I have never wanted to leave so much after the appalling experience I received. My son is non verbal and he pointed to go on the spinny cups but when we were getting on he was getting a little anxious and needed to just on my knee a minute for him to regulate himself and feel safe. The ride rides operator named Thomas asking for him to sit down so I tried to sit him down again and then I knew he wasn’t going to looked around to ask to get off to find Thomas shaking his head at me and then when I explained my son is autistic takes him a little longer for him to turn around and say “that’s not my problem” I asked to speak to a manager where I had an inexperienced boy named Kieron who has been in role for 1 month talking to someone with 7 years management experience come over saying “what’s the problem” in such a bad tone of voice wouldn’t listen kept talking over me to say “he’s doing his job” so doing his job is job is to discriminate against a child with special needs. These 2 members of staff are incompetent, shouldn’t be in customer facing roles and need some education around children with special needs especially as this is a children’s park! Worst customer service and park ever! Would never return will be taking this complaint to the top as to say what they did is NOT acceptable
• No WIFI despite when booking the agent advised this was present • Our room was situated by a really dirty lake which had a foul smell so couldn't use the balcony or had to buy fans from the local supermarket to get a bit of breeze in the room • On Saturday morning I was stuck in our bathroom for 10-15 mins due to the door being jarred (video attached) • Constant queueing for drinks and food orders despite the restaurant being very well staffed • When served across the 3 days, 4 out of 5 times my order was wrong or I was overcharged with no refund given as we were told to queue "like everyone else" whilst looking after 3 children • Staff on the till seemed to not have been trained, we were polite and understanding towards this but found the manager to be less friendly towards them • Ordered kids hotdog meals on both evenings and when the order was received for my children it was sausage and chips which we were not told • They restaurant across 2 days also didn't have any apple juice • When booking we were told breakfast would include a hot drink, we were told it wasn't in the restaurant and had to purchase from the Costa next door • Majority of smaller JCB rides out of service on the park • The lunch we had inside the Gulliver's Land resort restaurant (shaped as a castle) the burger was wrong 3 times and had to keep retuning to change this, we were at table 44 • The breakfast baps were dry and when asking were told we have no brown sauce but then a different member of staff was giving it to another table (Image 0 attached) • On both evenings my burgers were burnt and hard, again was told to queue to complain! (Images 1 and 5 attached) • The chips each night were dense like they were from the night before and when asking to change this took up to 20 mins when we had finished our meal when we had to ask a member of staff walking past. • The DJ at the kids disco at 7.30pm promised my daughter a birthday shoutout, this never happened and when asking if this was going to be happen was told sorry one more song and we are closed, of course for a young girl this had her in tears. • Our son Cole who is 2 was playing in the area in the photo attached (Image3) with several children in and out of the play area the door was so stiff when a child opened and shut it this smashed him in the face which has now become badly bruised, there was no first aid on hand so had to leave the park early to go to a local supermarket to get pain relief and to bring the swelling down, this is hugely dangerous and could have had his eye out (Image 2 after injury) • My wife took a bite out of her vegan sausage bap, for only this to be a meat sausage bap and not what was ordered, as a vegetarian this was horrifying and distressing for her on Saturday morning. • One of the managers on duty on Saturday evening Anna was extremely rude to myself, wife and children when placing our order. We were told that there were no pizzas or burgers which were vegetarian and following the morning breakfast disaster wanted to be clear on our order to avoid any issues. On the menu it does not state a number of included meals in the stay which are included as vegetarian so no clear understanding of the offering. When we asked if there was anything that could be offered to my wife, Anna approached us around the till and said "You don't know what you're talking about, stop trying it on for a free upgrade!" this Infront of all my family in a real in your face manner. She then said "if we don't like what's on offer pay the extra or go somewhere else" this all Infront of my wife and children, poor customer service and most of all an awful attitude to show to my young children. Following this we received glares from her for the rest of our stay making it very uncomfortable. A few members of staff who did put a smile on our faces and deserve a special mention: • Joe at the log flume ride for his service and friendliness with our family. • Gabby on one of the stools was very interactive with our children which gave them a smile, especially our son who could be seen visibly hurt from the previous day injury. This was our first time to Gulliver's and a real disappointment across the family, for my daughter who was expecting a more magical birthday than what was given.
I would give zero but it will not allow. Matlock gulliver's, disappointed and left feeling ripped off, paid 74 I believe it was for 2 adults and 1 child, the park is massively run down anamatronics and areas that have been there since the 90s when I was a child. All dropping to bits if working at all. Few new "attractions" basically to walk around/look at. It either needs alot of investment to recant and actually take care of what is already there or closing adding a few new climbing frames isnt cutting it. We will not be going to any of the other parks as we intended to after that visit. Shocking avoid matlock

Sep 03,2024I paid £120 for 2 adults and 2 children and was very disappointed. The queues were so long you'd be lucky to get 4 rides in one day. The staff were very slow at getting people on the rides. One would wait until everyone sat down and then make people get up and swap seats with their children rather than telling them which side to sit in the first place. The whole park is very run down and needs a major refurbishment. Even the rollercoaster car we sat in smelled disgusting. The toilets weren't nice. At £30 per person, you'd think they'd reinvest a little bit back into making it an enjoyable park. We won't be returning.
