Horrible customer service! There never respond and no one answers your questions.
This company scams you! They take your credit card and continue to charge you even after cancelling. They’ve been charging me for months without my knowledge or consent. I Never received a box in the mail either. I cancelled so long ago. When I finally confront them about it, they tell me I have a shirt I didn’t return- I bought the shirt! There is the charge on my card proving I did. They refuse to refund me and they aren’t even contacting me to address the issue! Avoid this company like the plague. It’s not worth the headache nor the money. 9 months charging me and never once did they send a reminder to return the supposed garment that was at home nor did they send an email saying “ thanks for payment”. They continue to charge you. I am so upset and pissed off. I feel so violated. You’ve been warned.
Without explanation, Gwynnie Bee has stopped its regular Tuesday and Thursday release of no garments. When I messaged customer service inquiring, I received no response the first time and a sketchy response the second time. Makes me winder if they are on the way out.
I canceled in 2021 and just noticed they have been charging me $5.30 a month since then. I am getting no service through them and I don't see how they can do that. They are shady. Do not use this service
Not like other subscriptions - there is no stylist or items selected for you. Try Wantable, Dia and Co, or Stitch Fix if you want items selected for you. Edited: Initially I had a lot of problems cancelling my subscription, but after writing this review, the company did provide me a refund and cancel it for me. Not the best experience overall, but they did make it right, which has led me to increase rating.
I did this year's ago, then got tired of not getting my top picks so I stopped. Started again earlier this year, great for 6 months, now the clothes smell awful. I have sent back 5 dresses out of the last 7 due to smell. I keep getting free upgrades and apologizes, but what's the point anymore? I'm just wasting my time and gas money going to the post office to return these stinky clothes. Then they try to sell them to me for $60, $70, $100. Omg.
This was a terrible company to work with. The clothes were dated and in poor condition. It is not possible to cancel on their website - you have to do it over the phone - and I had to repeat five times that I wanted to cancel as the representative continued to try to sell me on keeping it. Finally after "checking with a supervisor" they told me they could refund the current month - IF I called back to claim the refund in a week. This is a predatory company.
Don’t do it!! I had used GB for quite some time and had never had any issues and then all of a sudden items stopped coming. I tried canceling my subscription twice but they still kept billing me. I called a third time reporting that they were charging me for an item I never received AND were continuing to bill me even after I had cancelled. After this call I was billed yet again. I turned off my recurring billing. They are now trying to claim I still owe multiple months (mind you nothing had arrived to my house for over 5 months) and an item that never came. We have been back and forth but they are insistent. Beware they are trying to take me for over $300. If items stop coming take action immediately and insist that they send you a transcript of the conversation.
I did really like it. They started sending me things I never put in my closet. I have a favorite jean brand and I find they are always sold out in my size. The sizes up and down are there but not mine. I called and was told what day they add new items I went on that day and still my jeans added that day not available. I'm a plus size, actually I'm an average size but I won't wear the curtains or couch cover I want pretty clothes too!!!!!
I've been a member on and off again since 2013. At first, I loved it. Great styles, quick delivery, etc. But for the past several months the service has been terrible. I literally went nearly 2 months without a single shipment. Instead of a refund, I was offered a one week extension for my billing date. I pushed back and then was offered $20 credit. I again pushed back as neither came anywhere near compensating the $139/month that I paid. Eventually I got the $20 and a one month extension. However, in this time, I have only received one set of items for the 5 items/month. All of which have been sent back and it has been 10 days since I notified of the return and still nothing showing as heading my way. I am utterly disappointed. And as others have stated, the items that I am interested in to add to my closet are rarely available in my size. I don't want to just add items I don't like for the sake of having lots in my closet.
I've been a member for over a year and it used to be good, but now, the time between boxes is really long and unacceptable. (It's been 10 days since I "return notified" my items and new items still have not shipped. Also, when I click on the "New Arrivals" to add them to my rack, my size is always out of stock! It's not worth $75/month just to receive 2 boxes, of which the items may not work or may be ugly. :-(
Shipping is taking an unreasonably long time because they don’t have the inventory to support their client base. I signed up again after a short break, having received an invite from them. I noticed the styles appeared to have improved some. However... I signed up on 10/13 and as of 10/19 nothing has shipped and the majority of the things that I have closeted since joining are out of stock. The likelihood of me staying on again is low. With the pandemic, they are also not getting new things in as often. They should not be collecting money and recruiting clients they don’t have the product to support.
The service itself is okay, but the account management is... extremely controlling. You can't change your password yourself. At all. My password was hacked in a data breach, and there was no mechanism to change it myself on their website. You have to call them and ask them to reset it, their tech support team resets it, and 24-48 hours later you get an email with a temporary password which you then enter in order to get a prompt to enter a new password. It's the same process with email addresses - if you need to update an email address, you need to call them or submit a request to their customer service line. There is no account management portal. I find this extremely offputting... I'm sure it's to discourage people from deleting accounts, but to be honest this interaction makes me want to delete mine.
This service is terrible. The choices of clothes are not very current and the items you pick rarely are available in your size. Your personal fashion advisor is a joke. They do not get to know what you like at all. The length of time between shipping is so long that you maybe get at the very best 2 boxes a month. I intend to cancel when my subscription is up and do not recommend for anyone.
I cancelled my membership after multiple issues centering around pieces being sent in the wrong size or not received period and then was charged again the next month. The rude woman who answered when I called customer service stated they give no refunds and that my account was cancelled. I had to call my bank and report the fraud. SAVE YOURSELF THE HEADACHE AND DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE
Hello, I signed up for this “free” trial. (which wasn’t free) ok, I understand. Then I chose clothing to put in the closet that I liked and I thought would be perfect for me. I received 3 shipments. All shipments contained clothing I would never wear. Must less choose. I cancelled today as I have now been scammed out of $150 for clothing I did not wear, did not like and did not choose. Do not sign up for this service.
Been happy with styles and now the range of sizes for well over a year now! I have so much fun picking out items that may or may not even end up in my home closet. That is the only thing I would recommend paying closer attention to; customers choosing favorites or priority items that they are never sent. Luckily, if you are are the right size they often surface in the GB Outlet at a great price! Another thing that is amazing is that they are happy to work with you it you need to pause for a month or so. However, it is always sad if I need to and I miss it a ton!
After reading some of these reviews 2 months ago , I almost didnt order. I am SO happy I gave GB a shot! They have name brand/designer clothing and they shoot items at ya fast! I even upped my subscription from 2 items at a time to 5. Most of the clothing is like new. You also have the option to buy and I have bought several very nice pieces. I give them 5 stars for promptness and keeping my wardrobe trendy. I do wish they had more bottoms in a size 14P and new shoes for purchase. They dont have accessories and maybe that is something they can keep in mind perhaps for the future or selling new shoes and handbags ? Absolutely LOVE their service. Best thing I ever did ! Long time member. Generally the dresses are great and shipping is fast. However, customer service is abysmal (Their go to is ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ or silence). And let it be remembered that during the COVID19 pandemic, they did nothing to accommodate their members. No pauses. No discounts. You cancel, you lose your account, points, pricing, etc.
