Just been to Asda Haji Baba and the young woman who wears a scarf, opens the counter whenever she wishes, I went over at 8.30 she told me the counter opens at 9:00 so I went past at 8:45 and she is serving a couple. This is not the first time that this has happened she has done this to me before very rude young woman. So when she came to serve me I asked for chicken breasts 1.5kg and asked her to please get it cut in small pieces like the one that she had cut before for me, as the chicken on display was large pieces. She had done this for me previously and I asked if she could do it again. She refused and it was not busy at all. Very rude young woman. I got my meat from the Arab shop close by who are really wonderful and will not be returning to Haji Baba again, money seems to have gone to their head.
Did’nt receive my order. No reply to emails . They just taking money but not delivering the products.They exploiting the situation by Taking advantage of vulnerable people who can’t leave the house and have no choice but to order online . Please do not order from here or you will lose your money . I have called my bank for chargeback do not lose your money ask your bank for charge back.
First time and definitely the last time Ordered on 18th March and today is 2nd April and no sign of any delivery. Have called and emailed on numerous occasions with no reply and no answering of the phone. When I track my order on the web site it says the order cant be found!??.Such shame and disgrace that you steal money from your Muslim brothers and sisters ( and of course from any customer )
this is the first time I order from you and you let me and my family down no order received no answer for our calls and emails and you took the money straight away from my account 10 days ago any comment?!! disappointed
I wish I could give a ZERO star to this store, I placed my order on 17th of March and spent £251,today is 1st of April and I still haven’t received my order neither they answering the calls or emails .
I ordered over £300 worth of meat and poultry to split between 5 families. They delivered the items 3 days late, however this was not the main concern. The mutton was mainly made up of fat and by the time I had cut the fat off there was hardly any meat. However this was not the main concern. The mince was mainly bone and my 8 year old son choked on the kebabs we made, my sister in law had thrown her mince portion away as she could not feed it two her 18 month old son and my mother in law cooked her portion but this went to waste due to the amount of bones found the mince. However this was not the main concern. We ordered 32 whole chickens between 5 families. Only 8 was delivered. We have spilt the 8 between 5 families and left my mother in law with 3 as she is elderly and unable to get out. I have called and emailed Haji Baba a number of times and they haven't got back to me. I have been very patient and my calls were of an understanding nature as has been my emails. There is over £120 worth of goods missing and they haven't acknowledged this. It's daylight robbery. I've never had any issues from the outlet in Asda. I only ordered online because I accidentally called the main wholesaler whilst I was trying to get through to Asda. The man who answered the phone directed me to their website and told me to order online. I AM ADVISING EVERYONE TO PLEASE AVOID ONLINE ORDERS. YOU WILL NOT GET YOUR GOODS AND IT WILL RESULT IN FINANCIAL LOSS AND A GREAT DEAL OF STRESS.
I ordered meat on Wednesday night meaning it should have been delivered by Friday. However due to delays and a backlog of orders it has been delivered this afternoon. Delivery driver dropped it off and disappeared and the meat is not cold and smells very bad so has clearly gone off. It only had one cool pack in it which are melted. So I cannot accept this. I have been calling them since friday and nobody is picking up. The line is busy some of the time so clearly in use. Also not all of the items I ordered have been delivered. So that is another thing. I have also emailed them and no response as yet. Really poor service as there is no way to get in contact with them.
Today is 21st march 2020,old man of 77years old,send my son to buy chicken as i am curtail to the house due to COrona Virus 19 spreading out side,do you believe that Haji baba chicken legs they sell at £4.99/kilo while Lamb leg is only £5.50/Kilo at ASDA wembley park,it is a rip off,selling at black market rate.avoid buying meat from asda Haji Baba out Let.
I use my local Asda in Park Royal for the last 5 years, and they are always amazing. There customer service is second to none. Once you buy meat from Haji Baba, over the counter, you will never go anywhere else. Once you have the best, you forget the Rest love there meat, always fresh.
Very rude staff at my local Asda branch I rather go to my butcher's on the high st I don't know why they so rude staff.
Very poor customer service, contacted nicollete in customer services regarding incidents in Asda branch, I was advised that Mr Nisar Malik would contact me, never received a reply and the issue of aggressive and rude staff was never addressed or resolved waited 2 weeks, avoid this company use local halal butcher instead.
Great experience. I was looking for some Halal businesses as I have a friend who loves Ghandoo Papadum. I'm sure he's reading this and would appreciate it.

On Sunday evening around 4.30 I went to Leyton asda for shopping mainly I went for halal chicken soon as I arrive the counter they guy was serving a old customer ,i asked one of the guy that i need 25 piece of merinated chicken legs , and he replied you should have come one mins before ,we are close now we can't serve ..I tried to convinced them he called his supervisor on halal meat section named antique and he was very rude to my wife and says he's not gonna serve us. The time i was coming out of the store I saw the store duty manager and spoke to him he took us back to the halal section and asked them to serve . Soon as the manager leave the place the supervisor atique asked about my ethnicity like where I'm from as I mentioned I'm Bangladeshi he start swearing at me like "U Bangladeshi people are stupid ,wasting our time , u should apologise or I'm not going to serve you even he told they was serving me not to serve us and showed his name badge asking to take his name and do whatever i want to do" i find it really disgraceful and disrespectful as we are the regular customer for hajibaba and Leyton asda that's our local store !! To complaice management team I would like to request to look at this issues and for me I don't think I will ever go and buy anything from hajibaba section from Leyton asda
I buy all my meat from HB in Watford now . It really is the cleanest and best quality meat I have come across. Nothing has a strange smell and it is clearly fresh. I have been conned by smaller businesses time and time again when it comes to quality, freshness and the actual quantity they give me. The staff are very helpful. I'm glad I have a trusted place to buy meat now .
I buy my halal meat from HB Watford Asda and I am very pleased with the quality of the meat compared to smaller businesses. The staff are very good and happy to assist with any request on how you want your meat prepared. Shahid and Evdelina are doing an excellent job and I will continue my custom here
I have ordered my qurbani this year 2018 with hajibaba and they told me I will get on Wednesday at 12pm and when I have called them to pick they told me you will get on Thursday due to delivery running late,these all tricks to robe the people as this Pakistani people running business. please don't deal with hajibaba any more cause they don't have proper management and don't have business trust. Actually Asda doesn't allow hajibaba run in Asda as Asda value getting down.i have called costumer servise in Enfield london on 020 3538 8088 the lady told me it's noting to do with them you have to call area manager and they didn't give me his number cause they don't have. Could you think how loos hajibaba management is actually they are running like news agent mr Patel shop.never ever buy anything from them from any shop. If hajibaba can't keep their prommis its mean we can't trust on them if they are doing halal meat, Anyway I left the qurbani for hajibaba A M to keep it.
Highly pathetic service. I ordered some frozen products online and they all come completely defrosted. I just threw them in the bin. When I asked for refund these people were like that we are not responsible for this. It's difficult to send frozen products frozen to you. If this is the case then they should mention this on their website and should stop selling frozen products online.
