Works for me. Unit is outside six inches from back door about 30 feet from router. Cat sets it off every time, alert to phone. I take it in and put it out again every time cat goes in or out to save battery and so it doesn’t get too cold or wet… would buy again. Took a couple of days to settle in, but I have been using for about 6 months no problem. Odd false alarm, but I’m very happy with it.
I wish I could leave no stars. I bought 3 and the products don't work, and the customer service is shocking. I contacted customer services as my contact sensors don't respond when the door is opened and shut. The team could not help with the problem at all as if they were unfamiliar with how the product should work and and I was told I would be refunded for postage if I sent them back. I sent the product back, was refused a refund for postage then they sent me back the product which does not work. Save your money and look elsewhere! This has been such a long and arduous process I regret buying them so much.
I'd avoid the Hey! Doorbell... unless you like extremely challenging set-up processes. There was supposed to be a small screwdriver for the tiny screws at the back... which are the smallest screws in the world btw... but alas there was no screwdriver. I'm even struggling to buy one to get the back off to insert the batteries. I've tried to contact support 4 times now but no luck. So I've currently got a brand new product I can't used, with missing parts and can't contact anyone for help. Avoid.
I bought the hey door bell camera, it connected to mini hub but lost signal when on front door, got router installed and cant get it to connect have not been able to use it. Had it for nearly three weeks
Poor quality products…spend a little extra and get products from the leading competitor..you won’t be sorry. Have persevered for almost 2 years with the hey! Doorbell and security camera we have given up and bought products from another brand that are far superior and to be honest wish we had bought them in the first place. The doorbell had to be replaced under warranty as it stopped connecting and wouldn’t charge…thought this would solve our issues but no the replacement one has done similar and you can’t even use your phone to answer the door bell call as the app freezes every time and keeps asking to reformat the SD card. The security camera was okay…limited in selecting the area you want motion detection to work and and is very hit and miss in what it picks up. It’s not fit for purpose or built to last as it had water ingress which has damaged the unit and we are outside of the warranty…typical! Customer service hit and miss also. Would not recommend!! Please pay a little extra and buy a more premium product!
Bought three cameras for my property, two outdoor and one indoor. One of which was tied to someone else's account ( I assume they did the try before you buy and Hey! sent it on to me after, not a problem) They sorted it all out within a few hours and havent had any problems since.
Couldn’t be happier with the bulbs and features… had a few issues setting up and their support was really good.
Order arrived quickly, instructions easy to follow, products worked well.

Excellent products and very easy to use. Smart plugs work both well on the app and syncing up with Alexa. Connected up the smart plugs with various lamps.“Alexa, turn on the living room light” and it’s on. Have got the power strip, very easy to set timers and clicking on the individual plugs to switch on/off the app for the different plugs. The usb slots make charging your phone and other device’s easy. Having one slight issue reconnecting this to my new router from my old router, but I’ve not really tried properly yet.
The smart floodlight was really easy to install and get set up with the App. Great quality video/images and loads of good features.
Arrived quickly, nice solid packaging, and easy to set up. I did need to reset as I was a bit slow pairing yo my app ( hold down on button for 5 secs). Very pleased with it does exactly what you would expect.

Having previously used Hive for my previous home, I was looking for a new smart company with more product choice and a better price point. Hey! are it. The products are simple to use and set up, and the app is very user friendly and is easily connected to Alexa.
Good products but some issues with counting to wife and products being off line
I bought some light bulbs and an indoor camera for myself; gave a lightbulb as a gift to my daughter who loves it, her partner has set it to disco lights ha ha. As for the camera, I can see what my animals are up to, day or night; delighted with both products what are very easy to install.

Apr 12,20234.5* for product (quality tech) but <1* for customer empathy and problem solving. Disappointingly, Hey! have quite willingly chosen to lose this previous evangelist. Customer service outweighs product every time guys. Especially for startups. Buying Aqara instead.
