Apr 16,2024"Assisted Sale" service is top notch! Late last year, my partner and I had committed to a move back to the antipodes in three months time, however we had not sold our house! We were first-time sellers, and after exploring the auction house option with homesellingexpert.co.uk we decided that the auction process and pricing were not suitable for us. During the initial contact, Matt and his team took the time to understand our situation and our goals for selling the house. Once this was established, Matt suggested that their Assisted Sale process could get us the best price available over the shortest time. He also said that there was no magic solution but their selling process had been optimised over many house sales. After a lengthy (and free) conversation we were satisfied that Matt knew what he was doing, and that we could benefit from their service. We gave the go-ahead and the home selling expert team sprang into action. The house was listed very quickly and we had our first viewing within three days of giving the go-ahead. Within a few weeks we had received multiple offers which were managed by Matt and his team, to get the best price. Within a month we had agreed a sale and Matt and Kirsty managed the completion of the sale very close to our original three month deadline. Matt and Kirsty's knowledge, professionalism and communication were all first class. Their process really works. They have a genuine commitment to helping people sell their homes in the best possible way. They helped us out within a very challenging timeline. If I could give them 10 stars, I would. Mar 21,2024I was looking through the Internet, to try and find answers to questions around my horrendous experience of buying and selling my home, when I came across Matt's Web site. My first impression was 'this seems like a decent down to earth guy'. I immediately booked an appointment. Excellent communication followed, confirmation of appointment and allowing me to rearrange at last minute. Matt phoned me on time and spent a good 40 minutes of his free time, asking questions and listening carefully to my problems. He gave me sound advice and confirmed my gut instinct. Not once did he try to sell me anything. A very professional approach, providing knowledgeable advice. Would definitely recommend.

Feb 06,2024Matt's knowledge and understanding of the property market and selling options are extremely impressive and absolutely unquestionable. However, what really sets him apart is his incredible willingness to help, take the time to understand your particular situation and to find the best solution for your specific issue. I contacted Matt late on Sunday evening regarding my property sale issue and he responded almost straightaway not just expressing sympathy with my situation but also with a genuine offer to discuss it and to try and find the best solution. The following day he spent an incredible amount of time on the phone with me and with another party, all to get to the bottom of would be the best solution for me. His guidance and analysis were perfectly clear and his commitment to help incredibly refreshing. All of this without any hidden agenda or benefit to derive from his advice. Through discussion Matthew recommended this probably wasn't the way to go, even though this meant he wouldn't earn a commission. Fair and honest advice and 40 minutes of his time given for no reward. Jan 27,2024Just wow, I cannot begin to explain how helpful Matthew has been and the difference he has made. Matthew got in touch after we started exploring the options available to us and were considering selling our house to a house buying company as our sale was about to fall through due to having an indecisive buyer who had been stringing us along for weeks, and we were worried we were going to lose our purchase (which is our dream home) as they had become fed up of waiting for us to complete. Matthew took the time to listen while I explained our circumstances, he provided loads of knowledge and advice about the process of selling to a house buying company, and thanks to his honest and professional advice we concluded that selling to a house buying company wasn't the right route for us. Matthew then gave me some really good advice about how to handle the situation we are in and how to take back some control to save us from the limbo we had found ourselves in. We explored the option of Home Selling Expert taking on our sale which we were open to the idea of, but after understanding more of the detail from us Matthew was so honest and advised us to remain with the Estate Agent we are currently with as it would be in our best interest. Matthew then armed me with a "plan" about how to approach the situation with our buyer, and not long after putting down the phone I put the plan into action, and it actually worked! Within a couple of hours of speaking to Matthew, I had contacted our estate agent and outlined the points that Matthew had advised me to say, the estate agent relayed all of this to our buyer, and our buyer came back and agreed to proceed. After weeks and weeks of stress, thanks to Matthew's advice we are now all lined up to exchange next week! I cannot recommend this company enough. There was absolutely no pressure to do anything, just honest advice that was absolutely in our best interest. Jan 11,2024Finding myself in a real predicament concerning my elderly sister-in-laws severely flooded property in Farndon Newark and being months into a long insurance claim process we needed to understand what the best options might be. Chatting with Mathew from Home selling expert was a real blessing. Mathew provided really useful perceptive advice along with a series of practical options for us to consider & research as our first steps. Mathew spent nearly an hour with me firstly gaining a detailed understanding of the circumstances and then via further discussions he was able to offer a set of thoughts that helped enormously. He provided this fact-finding assistance without charge. The outcome was for us to seek a cash settlement from the insurers and then auction the property with its land separately. An additional option was to see if our insurance would allow us to transfer the claim to a new owner when the property was sold. Mathew has also offered to link us up to a major national auction house to understand what the auction value might be.
