Sep 07,2023I contacted Matt following my concerns over a contract I found myself locked into with a property buying company. His knowledge, time, support and understanding was outstanding. He has been the first person to give me clarity and certainty over the situation and to discuss my options. He has actively been involved in signposting me to a colleague that is willing to investigate my case and I feel I can contact him at any time if I need further advice or reassurance. I sincerely hope that there will be more rigid regulation over property buying companies and the solicitors that act for them in the future, and with people like Matt on board, I have confidence that this will eventually happen to protect other people from entering into these one-sided contracts.

Sep 06,2023Got in touch with Matt gave advice by the use of e mails and and any questions that I had was put to him. He responded to my questions and gave advice on the pros and cons. He contacted a company for me and I received a call from them and the process began. Without the input of Matt I would have been non the wiser as for the company dealing with the sale very professional and were up front about the hole process.

Jun 20,2023Had a very in-depth conversation with Matthew in regard to using a house buying company. I really wanted to know more, be sure of the potential and pitfalls and I really did speak with the right person. Matthew advised the best plan for what we want (a quick sale), suggested our options and then took details to pass to the house buying company he recommends. I feel much more informed and can now take a view as to our options once we speak with the house buying company.

Jun 14,2023I have looked everywhere trying to find somewhere to get some advice around selling my mum's home. I no longer trust my estate agent and didn't know where else to turn. I searched the Internet and found nothing that could give me the advice I needed so searched for advice lines and there is nothing out there except for Home Selling Expert. I rang and left a message and Matt called me back in less than 15 minutes. He was friendly and reassuring and gave me honest advice that has helped me figure out what to do next. Being able to call and speak to someone impartial and uninvolved is invaluable and there should be more of this type of service out there. Well done to these guys for providing this. I really hope the word gets out and they go from strength to strength.

Feb 28,2023Spoke initially with Matthew at HSE. After assimilating my situation he made some suggestions that I could consider. He recommended that I investigate each further to see whether any might be a good fit for me. The route I chose, based on his recommendations, turned out to be successful, and we managed to sell quickly with minimal fuss. I have spoken with him several times, and his advice has really helped me make more informed decisions.

Once I filled out the consultation form, the recommended company was quick off the mark and was happy to answer all my questions. I felt well informed enough to ask the right questions, thanks to reading the article initially. Matthew also took the time to call up close of play on a Friday to offer some advice, which was greatly appreciated. Dec 08,2022Got a very prompt call back from Matt who was generous with his time and took the trouble to understand a complicated inheritance auction sale issue – said he could recommend alternative auction houses or a reputable home buying company specializing in larger properties but had the honesty to point out I would be better off keeping my nerve and holding out for exchange of contracts with my current buyer – his instinct and experience proved right – we did soon exchange with completion set to follow a week later – very much appreciate Matt’s integrity in not pushing me towards his own company or others who would pay him a commission – very happy to recommend Matt and his website and will certainly return there in future if I need any further help

Despite reading great things about property auctions, Matthew advised in my current situation this would not be a great option and explained everything to me in detail so I understood the process and the reasons behind his advice. This goes to show Matthew gives honest and unbiased advice, and is not another person working in property giving advice with a hidden agenda in order to get paid commission. Nov 14,2022I've just had a long, very enlightening conversation with Mathew Cooper at Home Selling Expert, and then a follow-up call back from him. All, incidentally, without any charge. He is sincere, shows genuine expertise and experience and the willingness to help discuss your situation without pre-conceived ideas. He even suggested against going down one particular route which may have earned him referral fees. I thoroughly recommend talking to him. And the phone went to him, not a call-centre, by the way.

Having done some research on this sector I became increasingly concerned about the pitfalls involved. It was with great relief that I found Matt's website and having read his articles I contacted him. He was sympathetic to my dilemma and talked me through various options, some of which I had not previously considered. He helped me assess the situation from a practical point of view rather than an emotional one.
