Mar 01,2020Hi guys, I haven't yet had the pleasure of working with you, but all I'm hearing is very positive feedback from any music forum I have been on. I haven't chosen any distribution platform yet, but I'm planning on releasing an album's worth of material over the summer months. My music covers quite a few genres tho, the majority of it being trance music with full female vocals as well as other slower style EDM, my questions with respect would be, do you collect royalties ? Do you upload music to Beatport? Jan 28,2020Horus Music has incredibly artist support. There was not a single time, where my questions were not answered right way and my problem solved within minutes. Even for services that are not directly provided, like split sharing the bill, I contacted Horus Music and asked, how complicated it would be to sort out the shares for one song myself, and they told me an easy way to do it, and also told me to contact them, so they can help me to sort it out, in case I don't manage to myself. Another great thing is the statistics on the platform. Thank you, Horus Music! :)

Jan 09,2020The customer service at Horus Music is one of the best I have experienced, ever. I lead a shoegaze/psychedelic rock band Minaxi and we have distributed all of our releases via Horus Music/Horus Music India. Both Malini and Chandrika have been helpful and available, whenever needed. The music does get checked during the submission process and if there are inconsistencies, you're instantly notified. It helps ensure that you're sending out accurately tagged audio file to the stores. A feature that I'd love to see in the future would be the automatic royalty split between band members. This would make it so much easier to have a set percentage of royalties go to all the contributors without you having to do all the math yourself. Shrenik (on behalf of Minaxi)

Dec 07,2019Do not give this company your music This by far the worst unprofessional company they closed my account due to false copyright claims. And they won't give me my royalties so I.been asking them to take down all my music that I released with from stores. They have stolen money from.me by refusing to pay my royalties. If you a artist PLEASE DO NOT use horus music they are the worst and I do not recommended this company it's awful and they won't pay your money

Oct 17,2019I've uploaded 48 albums at the time of writing. I've done this with Distrokid and Ditto music in the past as well. This company has showed me once again the value of customer support. Other platforms are easier to navigate or faster to upload with or gets releases on music plaforms faster, but Horus is by far the friendliest and most helpful. Their UI is somewhat clunky here and there, especially when uploading a lot of material, but at least it works. Every upload actually gets checked by someone and they send mails regarding the upload if you messed up. I've sent a friendly message to them, in a silly mood, just to find out how much i'd have to upload to be a record holder. That info is private and they keep it that way. Bummer, but at least they're serious about what info they share.

Jul 29,2019Horus Music has been an apt partner for my music label over the last 2 years during which time we have released close to 700 songs worldwide through Horus Music. Their support is too good in the sense that they helped me during the initial stages to upload the songs in such a way that the teething problems were taken care by their team at London. Now they have a team at Mumbai who are very helpful and they sort out any issues too quickly. I recommend Horus Music to all my co labels and artists. The client software is very user friendly and it takes just about less than 10 minutes to complete the formalities of song upload.

Feb 28,2019These guys TOTALLY get my vote! They were one of the FEW who even had a point of contact prior to signing up, they were prompt, direct and informative every step of the way. When I made a mistake and uploaded the wrong track for my first album, they went the extra mile to help me get it corrected quickly and efficiently. They even have an actual phone number with actual live humans who answer and will speak with you - pretty uncommon these days.
