The album review by Horus Music team is very rapid; Horus does a widespread distribution. The best part of HM is their customer support: the teams replies in few minutes and always knows how to solve each problem and request.

I have recently joined Horus Music, before I joined I had a few questions to make sure I was making the right decision in choosing Horus as my distributor, each time I emailed asking a question, within a day or 2 they politely replied. and answered my questions ok,, People should take on board that every company, not only music , but most companies are working with less staff and limited hours to help to deal with customers,, and some staff are thrown in at the deep end but still do their best to help....my experience with Horus so far has been friendly, polite and professional., and look forward to releasing my new album with Horus.
I am an indie composer and as a first time launch, you will have a million questions and not sure how the system works. Enter Horus music! Recommended by a friend, going with Horus to launch my album was the best decision I made! They were super responsive and published my Music well ahead and faster than I expected. They were extremely patient with all the questions and changes I requested (inspite of the holiday period!) - which I truly appreciate. Horus withheld my money claiming that they won’t pay me because apparently the streams are “illegitimate”, I have over 4 million streams over the past year they took down my music and claimed they won’t pay me for “illegitimate” streams. Beware anyone looking to use this company. I am owed thousands of £s.
Dont get me wrong it is a good service they just need to work on the artists separation Horus u guys are great but come on please fix this everything else is fine just fix that and make my client zone more visually satisfying Much love I might switch distribution services if this is not corrected it’s just a pain
Since using Horus for the first time in June 2020, they have been nothing but trouble. Firstly they distribute to SoundCloud without warning, creating a whole new artist account and blocking me from uploading to my own SoundCloud account. Second, when I rang then up to talk to them about the upcoming release I had with them, they said it had been marked for take down. Before it was even out. If I hadn't happened to call them for another matter my song would have just not appeared on release day, which would have been devastating. The cherry on the cake was this week, my song disappeared totally from all platforms, as did the music of all my friends who use Horus. We received no warning of this, just a small quote on their website saying they were making some changes and tracks may disappear for a while. This is SO unacceptable and has caused a lot of stress to several musicians who are worried about losing playlist placements and downloads. I would never recommend them to anyone and will never be using them again.
They don't inform You they will delete all your tracks from streaming platforms for "few days" (obtaining information on how many exactly is not possible). You're losing money from streams, you have spoiled going ad campaign. Especially enjoyable thing during corona time when almost every musician is struggling.

I was looking for a good distributor for my music and I came across Horus Music. I had excellent experience with their email replies. Quick and detailed.. I have only one very serious complain about them They claim UNLIMITED music distribution . The reality is they only allow 5 albums, 7 EPs and 24 Singles. [ This is mentioned on their FAQs - second last point!!] Everything else seems to be good to me till now. I am not a member, but I honestly haven't liked this false claim!
I wanted to give at least 3 stars but based on my latest experience with Horus I have to put it down to two. Horus does everything a distributor is supposed to do, they submit your releases and they collect money for you...and that is where it ends. Unfortunately the customer service is poor. I was recently missing £40 from my payment calculation, despite it appearing on my earnings page. I literally had to ask 4 times (once over the phone, and three times over email) before this was looked into and resolved. They had duplicated my previous royalty payment on their system, despite me only receiving one payment. It was actually me who pointed out that this may be the issue. The next day I logged into my payment overview to see it was resolved. Had I not have logged in however, I wouldn't have known, because the accounts department didn't even acknowledge my email pointing out the mistake, nor did they tell me it was resolved, nor did they apologise for what had happened. This experience, and the many others which proceeded it, prompted me to write this review. UPDATE: I did receive an e-mail apology for this mistake this morning (two working days after the mistake was pointed out) , whether that was as a result of this review, I don't know, but it feels only fair to include that new information here. This unfortunately was not the first time my email queries have been the source of frustration. My previous query took a whole day of back and forth messages between various agents, with me repeating myself multiple times, followed by a phone call with a curt and unfriendly adviser....and I still didn't get a satisfactory response! On that subject, the other 2 or 3 phone calls I have had with Horus were with very friendly (if a little unhelpful) agents, so this rude person was definitely an anomaly! Going back to the start....my first release was a classical compilation. After submitting it I received a message from Horus stating that the formatting of the song titles were incorrect and had to be redone and then resubmitted. I know that classical releases are very specific so this was not a surprise. However, Horus offered no assistance or advice on how to rectify this issue. So I ended up submitting this release about 5 times before I got it correct. So my first submission took several days instead of just one, like it does everywhere else. Needless to say this was beyond frustrating To compare to a another distributor I have used; when they told me there were formatting issues, they then explained how to solve them, exactly how the formatting should be done, and in one case actually did the formatting themselves for me. No such assistance from Horus. Honestly I wanted to say some positive things about this experience, and unfortunately the only one I have is that it is Cheap! So if expense is all you care about, Horus is great! Their agents are for the most part friendly, but too often ineffective. If having a customer service team which responds to queries effectively and assists you thoroughly with your releases is important to you, then I would consider spending a little more and going elsewhere.

We have been using Horus music now for two albums, and we only have good things to say. The customer service is excellent and the submission process is very easy, and if you have any difficulties, they are very quick to help you. We give our warmest recommendations to Horus Music.

Horus music has closed my account for so called duplicate accounts and kept all my music up collecting royalties, they not allowing me to collect royalties that i've made from my music. i would avoid if i was you.
My experience with Horus music has been incredible so far. Being a musician who's used, various music distributors, customer service, and quick response that Horus provides are exceptional. Especially the fact that it almost feels like you are in touch with an individual than a huge corporate company. I'll be sticking with them with all my independent releases and I highly recommend them to independent musicians.
Super happy to have chosen Horus Music UK for the distribution of my latest single "Khayaal". Chandrika Shah from Horus Music India, did a fantastic job at making sure everything was sorted well in time. This release had to be customised in a way that Apple Music & iTunes Store released it on a specific date and all other platforms on another date. Previously, i've never had this experience with multiple companies I've put my music out via. Thanks Horus Music for making my life so easy, and making sure that there was no stone left unturned. Will definitely be choosing to work with you guys for all my upcoming releases!
