Easy online booking, good to be able to speak to a person by phone with any queries
Not happy as I had booked 3 nights for 3 persons with breakfast and as a result of illness one could not travel at the last minute. Whilst the hotel changed to a two person room they could not deal with my request for a refund as the booking had been made through Hotel Direct. After receiving the response I accept that I have been unfair to Hotel Direct and that the responsibility to deal with the change in circumstances lay with myself and the Hotel. Hotel Directs terms and conditions were quite clear and they will take on board my suggestion that the Hotel should take the lead and immediately link with the Agent to discuss such circumstances. The actual booking experience with Hotel Direct went through very easily and efficiently and I would award them 5 stars.
Just got back from a 2 night London theatre break ,stopping at the Blandford Hotel. Hotel was excellent, show brilliant . The only hiccup we had was the confirmation email went to my spam which I didn't relise till 24 hours before .My fault for not checking .Other then this everything went like clockwork. Third time booking with Hotels Direct and it won't be the last
Booked a hotel and tickets to a show for my wife's 50th birthday. Easy process to book, great price, nice hotel, great show. Great communication from Hotel Direct, but not bombarded with un-wanted information. Great first class service. Highly recommend. Will definitely be booking again
Booked a weekend break to London to celebrate my partners 60th birthday, the booking was easy and simple enough, however i believe companies are best judged on how they respond to problems/issues and in my case HD are sadly lacking, having booked first class rail travel through HD with Avanti West Coast or return journey was disgusting there was NO first class service, although it had been paid for, we were (all passengers) put off the train at Carlisle as Avanti terminated it at that station due to the train manager deciding he wasn't travelling any further, and the train could NOT continue without a train manager. When I contacted Avanti to register my complaint they asked what I paid for the Tickets so I contacted HD to ask for a breakdown on the money I paid to them. I also informed them about what had happened on the return train journey, to be told that as this was a package price that they could NOT act on my behalf regarding my complaint, I did NOT ask for there intervention But I did find it shocking when they told me this after all it was HD I paid the money to!! so an easy way for for companies to avoid customer care/satisfaction is to simply offer a package price then all bets are off!!! I also emailed HD and received a reply asking to call instead (that's a first these days its usually the other way around) all in all I would NOT recommend Hotels Direct to anyone, and I for one will NEVER use them again. Sure if things went well they would be highly recommended but as i mentioned above companies such as this should be measured on how they respond to things that go WRONG not was goes RIGHT which after all is what you pay for!!
We had an amazing experience, the staff at the hotel were great nothing was too much trouble. We found everybody polite and couldn’t do enough for us. We will not hesitate to use the Hotel in the future.
Fantastic break! Fools and horses musical was brilliant, so many iconic moments created in an hilarious storyline. Copthorne Hotel, Chelsea FC, superb. Clean,comfortable,excellent breakfast,amazing location. Perfect weekend!

Excellent hotel and train deal from Hotel Direct, had to phone as I had problems on line booking and everything was dealt with efficiently by very friendly staff. Would definitely use this company again.
As a first timer it was a fantastic experience. It was easy and well organised, albeit a bit more costly to do it this way but non the less a fantastic service provided by Direct Hotel.

Very disappointed with this company. Due to go away this week and my family has come down with COVID, and are quite poorly with it. Called to ask if we could move dates and were willing to pay any differences to be told that this could not he done. There policy is no refunds or ammendments which I think in the current climate is unacceptable! We will not be using this company again
Wouldn't book with this company again. Due to go away this Wednesday with my family and I've been hit with a positive Covid result. Contacted Hotel direct to ask for an amendment and was told nothing can be done and to wear a mask. So I am now at a £1500 loss. Disgraceful policy and customer service.
Booked for 11 people as we were having a surprise hen do for our friend. Very helpful lady on the phone and i received all the confirmation details within minutes of booking. Takes the pain out of having to book a show and the theatre and was good value for money. A good selection of hotels to choose from and tells you how far hotel is from theatre which is very useful info. All in all a very good experience from this company.
Excellent service. We got a great deal and the website was easy to navigate. I had a query about my booking and I was emailed straight back and everything was resolved. Will definitely be using this service again.
This is the second trip I have booked through hotel direct for a theatre break to London and yet again it was all superb. Thank you, will be booking again in the future

May 03,2022Booked a reservation for a hotel room. No confirmation received after 24 hours. Checked website and the rooms are still available. Eventually get through on the phone to be told the rooms are not available.
