TERRIBLE PRINTER OFFICEJET 9010, NOWHERE NEAR AS GOOD AS OLD HP. 1ST ONE BROKE WITHIN A WEEK, REPLACEMENT A NIGHTMARE TO SET UP, STILL DOESN'T WORK PROPERLY DESPITE HP PRINTER SUPPORT ATTEMPTING TO SORT IT BUT ONLY SUCCEEDING IN ALTERING ALL MY PC SETTINGS! HP INK WORKS HERE AND THERE BUT MAINLY HAS 'ISSUES' CONNECTING. WHOLE THING IS RUBBISH AVOID IF YOU DON'T LIKE ONGOING AND PERSISTENT STRESS FROM YOUR OFFICE EQUIPMENT.
A simple requirement: I changed a cartridge on my HP Envy 6000 printer and wanted to check that it still printed OK. I found some HP instructions for doing this [I did put a link in here, but TrustPilot required that it be removed] This page says: "1. Open HP Smart and select your printer. 2. Click Printer Reports, or click Tools and then click Printer Reports. The list of reports displays." So I opened "HP Smart" (a misnomer if ever there was one) and there was neither a "Printer Reports" option, nor a "Tools" option. So I tried the Help, which took me to the Virtual Agent. This offered solutions to three problems I don't have, then gave up. The printer itself is fine, but the utter uselessness of HP support accords exactly with my experiences when I first bought the thing; if it hadn't been for phone support from the shop I bought it from I would never have been able to set it up. In the end I just found a document with lots of colour on it and printed that, as my test. I should have learned from experience by now that trying to use HP Support is simply a waste of time.
Absolutely disappointed the printers are worthless it just wont connect to my WIFI I have spent days to connect it eventually managed it but then it started giving me errors and will not print this is just waste of time and money not recommended.
Absolutely terrible software. I am resolved never to buy another HP printer again. The website is not much use either. I won't detail the issues I've experienced as I have spent so much time already installing/uninstalling drivers etc. So can I just ask you not to take my word for it but Google "Why is HP software so bad". You can then spend many hours reading of other peoples frustration. Good Luck if you decide to purchase HP.
Absolutely awful service. Going round in circles and wasted 12 hours + with various support lines. I figured out a Work Around myself in the end. My time costs money so asked for ink cartridges in goodwill. They have rang me 5 x for feedback which feels like harassment and still no sign of sorry cartridges. Rubbish printers that are very unreliable on wifi as don’t “speak” on different wifis with various excuses. Don’t bother and use usb cables if you must.
Awful experience, felt it was coming to the end of the day so they needed to rush. Didn’t even get a reply from the agent, also sent printer to the wrong address although I had sent over the correct one.
They send you a printer with no usb-b cable, which is essential for actually using the damn thing. Now the printer doesn't even connect. I have a two hundred pound brick.
What is the point of leaving phone number when no one picks it in time. I have called like 50 times but all in vain. How do I reach out the customer service / admin team to report issues with the printer and ink incompatibility?
Really you have to give a star, how about adding a minus star, in fact, 5 minus stars, as HP would get all -5 stars. Is the HP office jet 6950 the worlds worst printer? I have had mine for several weeks now, and still, I cannot get it to work. so the answer to my question above is yes, the very worst. I have tried technical support, which I feel HP have tried their best to hide away from customers, and their virtual agent drives you mad in the meantime. Hopefully, if HP read this, they will make contact with me. Preferably, it would be great if they knew I am based here in the UK; even though I put my serial number in, they refer me to someone in America who say they cannot help me. It would also be very, very useful if the person that makes contact with you from wherever they are based, understands English and does not have a houseful of people in the background, clanging pots and pans, or children running around, I have bought many HP printers over the past 30+ years and have installed them myself going back to the days when you had to fiddle with dill switches and such, never ever has a printer driven me so mad, My advice to anyone thinking of buying an HP Officejet 6950, keep your money in your pocket and steer very clear of this Monster. HP customer support is dysfunctional, and a waste of time, crap product, crap service.
Have to pay monthly to use it.i will return it asap.
Wow never buy a laptop printer or desktop from HP their customer service is a disgrace if your HP equipment is expensive and breaks down even just five years later they will not offer any help or support to fix your product they just lie and pretend they don’t have the parts and try and sell you another one even though your expensive equipment laptop in my case is a better laptop than most of their new ones their trying to flog. HP have become a Charlatan of a company avoid at all cost.
Ottima azienda prodotti eccezzionali ottimo servizio clienti scegliere hp!!!
bought one couple of months ago. setting up a nightmare but with help of a HP rep. it run fine for a while then tri-colour error. robot did not understand but blocked me from getting live help. so, bought new set of cartridges for some £ 37 to try whether that would help. it did. but only for a couple of prints. wrote a letter, no reply. shocking. money wasted.
Bought a new printer , it came with a 2 pin plug power cable instead of 3pin meant for the UK. There is a customer phone line , but no customer representative to talk to, instead one is sent a link to go on the WhatsApp to receive text only from their customer representative for an online chat, They weren’t interested to rectify their mistake & post me the appropriate power cable ( 3pins) instead they told me to go to their nearest shop some 20 miles away & change it myself even though I offered to pay for the postage. Awful experience, they hide behind an email address and WhatsApp online chat. Absolutely dreadful.
Support was "ok" but they took a very, very long time to answer all my requests. It was not easy to reach-out and get a memeber of the team to help. The issue is now fixed and I can carry on using my HP Officejet Pro 9020.
I recently got an HP OfficeJet Pro 7740. Wehn it prints it prints wonderfully and does everything it says on the tin. Scanning quality is great the app is great. However....it constantly will not communicate with the 2 pc's on our network. Even if you go to print and it says 'printer ready' it will not. It is the most frustrating piece of junk I have ever had the misfortune to own. HP website is useless and loads of people in forums have had issues. Avoid.
Absoluter Mist, NIE WIEDER HP !!!!
waste of space time and energy trying to contact some one here. I genuinely regret buying this product its always broken and causes so much down time
Unbelievably bad service, firstly when you log in, the app keeps telling me I’m in the United States, even though I keep changing it to U.K. I bought the printer from HP directly online, then I paid for instant ink with 5mths free-printer keeps telling me can’t print till I join-I was 3 hrs with agent on phone, these people have no idea what they are doing, he took ages to reply to my answers and left the issue still not resolved-then to add insult to injury he cuts me off and goes home without telling me! So now I’ve paid £130 for a printer, signed up to £9.99 monthly for an instant ink subscription, and can’t use either! DO NOT SIGN UP TO THIS SCAM!

Nov 24,2021Ok, so I purchased my Deskjet 2700e 5 months ago, and did have a paper jam and then an error came up a few weeks later saying that there was a problem with the cartridge track - so not brilliant. However, on both occasions, not being able to sort it via the virtual agent, I called the Support number. On both occasions the call got picked up in 3 rings, and I was then walked-through how to fix it. On the first occasion the agent called me back on a Sunday to check the fix had worked. On the second occasion the agent did all the diagnostics, even linking my phone to a camera so that he could inspect the workings of the printer. After 10 minutes he established that I needed a new printer and within moments he arranged for it to be delivered, and the old one to be collected. If I'd gone through a normal retailer, it would have been a nightmare. So - I'm not rating the printer (I'll see how the new one fares), but in terms of the Service Support - it was amongst the best I've come across.
