Rude, unhelpful, and awful company to deal with. Im cancelling all subscriptions my own company has I have also launched a fraud investigation. Unbelievable what they think they can get away with
My printer was in the warranty still, when it broke on 10/02 this year. Rung customer services and they ordered new one - thanks for that. Unfortunately it's 08/03 - printer still hasn't arrived. I have contacted them dozens of times since then, they don't understand what I even want. Keep talking about Instant INK, forwarding me back and forward to other departments, don't reply to emails etc. They just don't understand that replacement printer never arrived . I think their customer service is based outside the UK and they have no clue about issues , just been explain standard situations and can't deal with anything else. So it's been a month without printer, I need it for work and kids studies every day. I have proof from UPS that parcel is lost, but HP doesn't care . I am not sure how many hundreds of time I need to contact them , so that they can start helping me.
HP Printer Support is hopeless. They sent me a duff ink cartridge back in January and then refused to send a replacement. I have been having an ongoing battle with them ever since. They keep changing their story about why they can't send me a replacement. I have had to buy my own from elsewhere and they also refuse to compensate me for that. I wish I'd never entered into the agreement with them.
Ordered a printer from local catalogue store. Arrived two days before promised, and then things went downhill once HP got involved. Set up Instant Ink and extended support. Two weeks later ran out of ink. Instant Ink specifically says 'Never run out'. Two kids at home needing to print which was why I had to buy a printer in the forst place and was sucked in my the ink subscription BS. Got on chat and asked where my ink was - some excuse about shortage, but would be dispatched 'soon'. Asked when soon might be - radio silence for 52 minutes. Managed to get to supermarket and back with cartridges in the time it took call centre agent to answer question. Cancelled Instant Ink and tried to cancel support, as I don't see why I should pay for this lack of any sort of customer care. Took two emails and a written request to get a response to that one. This WILL be my last HP product given the appaling 'service'.
Purchased HP Officejet pro 7720WF from Curry’s and was assured that I could join ‘instant ink’ but now find my printer model is not listed for the service and that the cartridges cost almost as much as the printer did in the first place No help from HP or Curry’s WHAT A CON
Very poor online customer service - clearly preoccupied to keep their Operations metrics looking good, not solving your problems, and closing your tickets without resolution, not listening to your problem and robotically sending you useless manuals to read and troubleshoot...
Terrible trouble with the instant ink subscription. Worked OK for about 7 months then I got a message saying I wasn't registered in snstant ink even though I was. The trouble was that HP made the printer unuseable, even to scan. I spent 55min on the phone with HP but it still would't work. Cancelled subscription in the end!
Really great experience. Highly recommend..
I have come to the conclusion that the words HP should always be followed by CRAP. I have never had more problems with a laptop and printer as these sad examples of office equipment. I have 3 items a laptop a printer and a separate scanner and these are about as effective as a chocolate fireguard. As soon as funds permit I shall put all 3 where they belong in a skip and go back to Dell. I have an Officejet Pro 6960 and that name and scanner should not be in the same sentence. I am forever having to rescan a document because it keeps cancelling. It is truly is a shocking product I would NOT recommend it to anyone.
I recently purchased HP 2710 deskjet hoping that it would print my occasional e-mail. It does connect occasionally, but only by printing paper size 150mm x 100mm and not A4 as is the standard paper size. I cannot find any instructions to alter the setting as on print preview there is no alternative. I have tried to look on HP web site but no luck. Waste of my time and money I think. Bob Russell
Disgraceful. Sunbscribe to Instant Ink but the printer rejects the cartridges saying they are 'incompatible' - their own cartridges! Then you go into the hell that is customer 'service'. No responses, don't come back when they promise they will. Chase after 5 days with a job number and they say it doesn't exist. Can't get a refund and cant get the machine working - what do you do next? Put it down to HP not giving a damn, and buy another brand.
new printer delivered and it run out of ink in week, cant get replacement, wish i hadn't brought it now
They are deliberately obtuse, say they will look into it, then close the case, saying you haven't contacted them. They think they are exempt from UK consumer law, and don't provide the free instant ink trial advertised, then lie that they have. Trading standards should do something about these crooks!
The very worst customer service experience ever. the virtual assistant is useless. Over the last three weeks, the phone line told me to call back during opening hours on every occasion I tried to speak with them. Basically, they were closed and didn't bother to update the IVR or times on the web site. I've finally got a ringing line and after thirty minutes I'm still listening to a banal message asking me to wait for the next agent. Abysmal customer service, they should be ashamed.

Mar 18,2021This is one of the worst customer support companies I have ever had the misfortune to deal with. This is the second time I have had issues with the non-replacement of inks and the so-called customer service is a joke.
