Just had a new boiler fitted on the government scheme by intueco, I will list the things which I think they did not do (which should have been done) and what they did wrong. 1.Not Cleaned and power flush out the system before fitting the new boiler. 2. Only fitted one new thermostat valve on the downstairs radiators when the other valve need to be done as they are seized up, they said thats all they are supposed to fit, and leaving one radiator in the hall with no new valves, 3. Not bricking up the flue vent up instead just using a concrete board screw to the outside wall (not even straight to the wall). 4. cutting off water to en-suite shower which was essential to wash my elderly mother-in-law (they did come back to reconnect that the next day but with no lagging round the pipes in the loft and now the shower pressure is low so I had to change shower heads in bathroom and en-suite electric showers for them to work). 5. Leaving the water tanks in the loft for me to cut up and remove. 6.No isolation valves on the MAG FILTER. 7. Not all Radiators thermostat valves fitted on the in-flow side witch is best practice on the downstairs radiators. That's the bad points. My parents just had the same boiler fitted under this scheme by a different company they got all there valves changed and the option to move the boiler to different location they also got the flue bricked up, poorly but brick up.

Good job. I was very skeptical when Hussan knocked on my offering free boiler and loft insulation but went ahead as they weren’t asking for bank details and it wasn’t means tested. It all happened very quickly once the funding had been obtained and I didn’t have to do anything. The guys came round and had the work done for the loft insulation on the Wednesday and then on the Friday I had the boiler done. Very happy with the work.

The work on my property was completed at least 6 months ago. Have received no paperwork or emails stating that the work was done and when. Also no new EPC rating has appeared on the .gov website. I now cannot the company via email or telephone. I suspect they are dodgy or have gone out of business. Steer clear.

When Kerry and Charles knocked my door informing me that l could be entitled to free boiler and loft installation including radiators in every room installed naturally l found it hard to believe. As my husband wasn’t convinced and not home at the time, l asked Kerry and Charles to re visit to explain. I am more than happy to say l now have full central heating with a boiler etc. I have never had central heating or instant hot water. The work was professionally done over only two days by a team of engineers called Shabz, Ketan and Kasar. Kerry had kept in touch throughout. If you get the opportunity and qualify for this l would recommend you have it done’

I finally had the hive fitted almost 3 weeks ago so was all good but it's not compatible with my actual heating control box that needs to be changed to be able to control the heating from the hive as I still have to turn it on manually the electrician was great said he would contact the office to get it sorted to complete the job it's now 3 weeks later all the numbers I have for eco no body answers can someone please send me a genuine number that they actually answer too , thanks

Very Polite, Very Professional and it was free! I was a bit skeptical when an advisor came to my door by the name of Fahim, lovely man who helped us qualify for free insulation throuyh medical routes Was a bit skeptical at first but within a couple weeks i had my insulation done completely free Recommend to all my family who qualified

Just had free boiler installed and free loft insulation, I must admit I thought this was too good to be true but from the moment Noel knocked on my door to enquire if I’d be interested I couldn’t fault his professionalism, yes we had to wait for some time but when then installers came I was so impressed with them, Ash and Noor treated my house with respect and done a brilliant job, couldn’t have asked for a better team , thanks to all involved.

Complete waste of my time. Had a survey on 13th January for loft insulation and a couple of other things. Surveyor spent about an hour measuring and looking around my home, then he drew a detailed plan of my house. Said everything was fine and that it’ll be about 4 weeks wait time for the work to be completed. After not hearing any correspondence for a number of weeks I emailed and also rang the company leaving messages for them to contact me with an update. Still no response. Eventually spoke to a representative who said they would ring me back with an update. A few days later I still hadn’t received an update. I rang them back and eventually was told that they wouldn’t be doing the work due to a couple of issues with the survey.Hugely disappointed with the fact that it took me numerous attempts to get this information, let down by the fact that the surveyor had given me misleading information and annoyed that it’s been a complete waste of my time.All in all a very unprofessional experience from the company.

Unfortunately I had to give 1 star. If there was an option for zero stars then I would do that. INTUECO IS NOT TO BE TRUSTED. THEY ARE A JOKE. THEY COME AND RIP YOUR HOUSE APART AND THEN HAVE TO WAIT MONTHS FOR WORKS TO BE DONE. DUE TO THEIR SLOPPY WORK THEY CAUSED A LEAK WHICH INVOLVED A FLOOD IN MY LIVING ROOM WHICH RUINED MY CARPETS UNDERLAY AND SOFA. WHEN THEY FIRST CAME ROUND CANVASSING I WAS TOLD THE JOB WOULD BE COMPLETED IN 4 WEEKS. IT IS NOW FEB 2025 AND THE WALL INSULATION WAS FITTED JULY 2024. THEREBWAS FAULT AFTER FAULT AND THEY NEVERBRANG ME BACK. I COMPLAINED BY EMAIL AND PHONE CALLS BUT STILL NO HELP. ALOT OF FALSE PROMISES TO HELP THE SITUATION AND GET IT RECTIFIED BUT NOTHING HAS COME OUT OF IT. I HAVE NOW MOVED OUT OF THE PROPERTY AND THE DECORATING WAS STILL NOT FINISHED AND STILL ISNT NOW BUTBTHEY HAVE PAID MY EX LANDLORD FOR THE DECORATING AS HE TOLD THEM HE WOULD GET SOMEONE IN TO DO IT. HE HASNT BUT INTUECO HAVE STILL PAID MY EX LANDLORD AND I DONT GET ANY KIND OF COMPENSATION FOR THE HELL I HAD TO SUFFER AND COSTS OF REPLACING ITEMS. DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE OR USE THEM UNLESS YOU ARE PREPARED TO PAY OUT FOR THEIR SLOPPY WORKMAN SHIP. WHO BUILDS A STUD WALL ON TOP OF UNDERLAY AND CARPET??? THEY DO. THEY SAY ITS FREE BUT BELIEVE ME, IN THE END YOU END UP PAYING. STAY VERY CLEAR OF THIS COWBOY COMPANY

I have only just come accross this site and feel the need to let people know of our experience with Intueco I Was contacted by this company to have the house insulation completed, the surveyors who turned up were excellent and advised they would send a report to Intueco. We were advised of a date when installers would turn up to install the cavity wall insulation to have that changed to the following day at the last minute. The installers turned up at 4pm and advised my partner that they would not start as they were based in Birmingham and needed to set off home. We were contacted by Intueco to advise they would return 2 weeks later and when they did arrive, they again arrived at 4 pm, had a look around the job and then set off back to Birmingham as it was getting late. Have not heard back since then and hope they have not claimed the grant funding for these works as they were never completed.

Do not use this company.I applied for a boiler in February 2024 and have just been informed i`m not getting one. NO communication at all from INTUECO , had to contact Brett who did the application to get any info. Asked back in July 24 for an update to be told waiting to get people to do the fitting , hiring own people to do job . Now told no funding , so not getting one . what a waste of time.

Was promised a call today but that never came still not sure what work is still to be done or who the employees are you keep sending out I think you need to start using qualified engineers and stop sending out people who don't have a clue I'm curious as to the things they take back like hive systems and filter systems do the company still get paid out by the government but customer loses out through engineer negligence

Nov 2024, Salesmen came to the door, promised top up cavity wall insulation, loft insulation, extractors, trickle vents, radiator controllers, a choice of Hive or Nest (chose Hive) and an EPC at the end. Got appointments very quickly for the insulation, trickle vents, extractor. Minor gripe about the loft insulation. Everyone said they would lift the boards, lay the insulation then replace the boards but they just put it on top of the boards making the loft useless for storage without having to pay for new boards and labour to board out the loft! The trickle vents mean you can hear everything from outside. Electrician turned up unannounced to fit the boiler controller he said he had no Hive units left on his van but would fit a generic (not a smart) controller and the company would be in touch when Hive came back in to switch it over, so I let him go ahead. Bear in mind the salesman gave me a CHOICE of Hive or Nest and I have all the whatsapps screen shots to prove it. The surveyor said it would be Hive and now this electrician had said they would come change it to Hive. After 13 months, loads of emails and phonecalls, being pushed from pillar to post IntuEco to sub contractor and back, being promised call backs that NEVER happen (latest one last week) I am writing up this poor review. OFGEM will do nothing, they are useless in this regard, the council are useless, sent a letter out with the salesmem endorsing the scheme then will not do a thing to get them to do what they promised. So, IntuEco, will you finally supply, what YOU PROMISED and what I have proof that you promised? You promised me Hive, you promised me an EPC. You also promised me a call back last week when the right department 'reopened after Christmas' You should be immediately be able to do my EPC from your paperwork confirming the upgrades. You should be able to send me a Hive Controller and electrician if what the last chap said was true that its a "2 minute job" to change. Will you keep your word after 13 months of hassle or even reply to this review with any kind of solution? 13.19 17/1/25 called the number in the IntuEco answer below and spoke to Sarah who promised a call back today from the complaints manager....will see what happens now. 6.25pm 17/1/25 NO CALL BACK. Questions: Is this a genuine error that IntuEco will fix? I'm doubtful, given 13 months of chasing and promises to get back to me broken. Are IntuEco falsely claiming money for services not provided? Is IntuEco making false promises they know they wont keep (mis-selling) to reel customers in? Which is it IntuEco? If you can't/wont answer, then could you auditors answer this question? 9.07am 20/1/25 I received a call from IntuEco complaints department, whose number does indeed match a missed call (no message left) from a mobile number logged to my phone (Friday 17th Jan 25). It has been explained to me that the issue lies with a subcontractor, however, as I explained, my agreement was with IntuEco, the promises made were made by IntuEco sales people and surveyors, my personal circumstances and details were disclosed to IntuEco and all the correspondence (emails and phonecalls) that the complaints department say they have records of, are with IntuEco. The IntuEco complaints adviser agreed to chase the subcontractor for the missing Hive unit and EPC and get back to me after lunch today. 12.19 Just had the promised call back: her conclusion, It was a "miscommunication" I should never have been given the choice of nest or hive as they, the sub contractors don't do either .... so if your IntuEco doorstep sales person offers you either of these, it's an out and out lie.....one that was repeated by the surveyor, the electrician (had run out of Hive on his van but someone would be along to swap it etc, etc), numerous people I phoned at IntuEco over the last 13 months. Also, they dont do an Energy performance certificate but can do a "warranty" for the work which the subcontractor will pull together, although they themselves arent sure how it helps you get your EPC from that, for which you have to pay....government site says that requires a site inspection. The subcontractor, SFC, I think is their name. Will find out and send me all the info this week. The customer complaints lady did what she said when she said, so thanks for that. My agreement and all my communication was with IntuEco and the representatives they put me through to or sent to my home. I will dig out the paperwork in order to gather what is needed to obtain an EPC and await the promised information from the contractor. 8th Feb Surprise, surprise, NO CERTIFICATES or documents sent from the contractor which means my home was rated D instead of C and the assessor who I just had to pay £60 for the EPC rating, can not change the rating without these documents. SHAME ON YOU!

Had a full central heating system installed. Took just under 2 days. The workmen were brilliant and we are so happy with our nice warm home.

terrible service, waited 7 months for replacement boiler, never responded to emails, phone calls etc. made a formal complaint, still no contact from this company.

We are awaiting news on the heating etc to be sorted sometime soon and Dave Mason and who did our survey was professional and efficient and explained everything about our process for the heating . Hope to hear soon Kate Rollin

What started as an awkward install the intuECO team in both the office (Owen) and the installation guys (Mohamed) persevered and saw through to the end. Battling a gas supply at the furthest point away from the boiler, along with freezing weather and snow. We now have a much warmer and efficient home. No hidden costs, experienced installation team and good quality work. Very happy with the end result and would definitely recommend.
