Popped into ismash London Bridge St. on the oof chance to ask about service for a repair - how long, how much, when, etc. The technician was really friendly and helpful. Assessed the issue in about 4 seconds and repaired my phone there and then. He also sorted out another issue I wasn't aware of and explained everything clearly. Super impressive service that is open and authentic.
They assessed my phone, then called me to let me know the parts had arrived a few days later. I dropped the phone with them and 90 mins later it was ready. It looks as good as new now. Marian (the technician) was very helpful and repaired my phone perfectly. I was impressed by his regular communication and he has provided me with an excellent service. Thanks Marian.
Ray, the gentleman working at smash, was amazing. He went above and beyond in helping me solve a problem with my insurance claim. And he knew I had a train to catch so he did my repair incredibly quickly and I made the train!
I am really disappointed with paying £159 for a new screen that has so much glare I can only use it in dark spaces. Really low quality lcd screen and very expensive. 18/06/24 After posting this I also noticed that the screen was emitting a fair amount of static electricity - this made me feel unwell. So, I went back to iSash today, the sales rep could feel the tingling, when touching the screen. Similar to the feeling when you touch a ballon after rubbing it against the wall. I paid £30 additionally for their superior screen £189 in total. It is still not 100% but it is better, it is still emitting static electricity but much less - the cheaper one is not fit for purpose, unless you intend on using your phone as a brick.
ISMASH - GLASGOW Buchanan Street What a find, my charging socket wasn't working just happened to pass and I popped in. Very polite, friendly and informative guy told me the problem, how to fix it, how much and how long. Tick, Tick. I waited in the lovely waiting area where he worked on my phone in a glass room, so I could see him with my phone. *I have always had an issue of leaving my phone with anyone, so this was refreshing for me. He fixed the problem, cleaned my phone and asked if I wanted a screen protector on it, which I've been meaning to do, so worked out perfectly. Delighted with the service and will return when I need to.

This is the second time I've used iSmash. Was able to get an appointment the following day, dropped the phone off at noon and it was ready by 3. The person explained what was wrong and how it was fixed which I appreciated. I especially appreciate the 1 year guarantee on the repair!
Took my phone to Westfield I Smash this week after a failed attempt to get my battery changed at Apple. Was seen by Elaan who couldn’t have been more helpful. He waived the diagnostic fee and said he would just check and see if he could replace the battery before he took on the job. He said it wasn’t an issue. Despite there being a queue of customers he asked me to come back in 20 mins. when my phone would be ready. When I returned the phone was ready. Elaan was extremely knowledgeable and knew his stuff. Very quick and friendly service and knocked spots off my experience with Apple. Wouldn’t hesitate to use them again and would recommend them for a quick, friendly and professional service.

THIS IS A FU*KING BIGGEST SCAM I replaced MY IPHONE 12 BATTERY 3 WEEKS BEFORE (THAT WAS FIRST TIME I HAVE EVER TECHNICALLY OPENED MY PHONE AFTER DATE (FEB 2021) OF PURCHASE TO CHANGE BATTERY). Before giving it to them they checked everything on my phone such as Camera condition, display etc. I agreed to terms and condition about their battery replacement service. AFTER i received phone from them my face id stoped working and my display true tone went missing, i have been chasing this company since then but no useful and valid response have been provided. AND SAME THING HAPPENED WITH MY FIREND SHE GAVE PHONE FOR BATTERY REPLACEMENT AND THEY SMASHED THEIR ORIGINAL DISPLAY. AND BOTH OF US HAVE received SAME RESPONSE FROM THEM IN EMAIL. I:E: Thank you for your patience. After a thorough investigation, I can see that your Face ID stopped working following the battery replacement. This appears to be a random failure, the store manager inspected your device and confirmed that it can be fixed once Apple's GSX system is back up and running, as recalibration is required. Unfortunately, due to a current system error with Apple's repair system, we are unable to proceed with the recalibration at this time. Please be assured that our Senior Management Team is treating this issue with urgency. As soon as the system is operational again, we will promptly fix your device under warranty. Thank you for your understanding and patience. THIS IS THEIR FU*KING RESPONSE 2 WEEKS BEFORE. AND THIS WAS THE SAME RESPONSE GIVEN TO MY FRIEND MY ISMASH (THE SAME EXACT WORDS) I went to the Apple service centre and even talked with an Apple technician on Apple customer care. I went personally to the service centre and ran some tests, which is the result of the diagnostic ( i am pasting the Email sent by Apple as report). I can't attach Screenshot. Cosmetic Condition: No physical damage on the device Non-Genuine Battery causing issues with the Face-ID Proposed Resolution: The customer will need to get Tru depth camera replacement and Customer aware that if any evidence of water damage misuse or 3rd party components- a requote will be issued. Customer is made aware of potential data loss.Play replacement as True tone not showing up, at the OOW cost to be able to fix this issue. Customer has been made aware of this solution as face-ID failed so replacement required. At cost of £179 and £289 for Customer aware that if any evidence of water damage misuse or 3rd party components- a requote will be issued. Customer is made aware of potential data loss. THIS WAS RESPONSE FROM APPLE. They dont have customer care number so it is good to do scam atleast they dont have to respond so many customers and run away. I WENT CANARY WHARF STORE TO REPLACE BATTERY FOR £49 AND THEY FU*K*D MY PHONE WITH THE COSTING OF £289. BIG SCAMMER.
Rude and unhelpful service at London Bridge Station iSmash, clearly set up just to part you with your money. I took in my daughter's mobile phone because it wasn't charging. The man did a very basic check by plugging it into a charging cord, then immediately tried to sell me a new unit/charging dock at £240. When I asked whether there were any other options, and if he could examine the phone more closely, he just said that it wasn't charging, and nothing else could be done. Clearly, he only wanted me to buy the £240 piece of kit, as, without discussing it further, he went back to mending a broken ipad that had been in front of him, effectively dismissing me. I have since taken it to another repair shop, who repaired it within 30 minutes for £50. I will not be visiting iSmash again

I took my Samsung phone to have the battery replaced, having booked it in on line. The employee Samuel was very polite and knowledgeable. This gave me confidence when leaving my phone. Samuel repaired and tested my phone without any issue, then contacted me to collect it. This was well within the estimated time i was given, again excellent work. He explained what had been done, and what tests were carried out after the repair. Payment was quick and easy and the repair was guaranteed. Very bad service and unprofessional phone repair @ ismash Bristol city centre. They use low quality materials plus they right off insuarance cases and demand extra for that
I would not recommend iSmash’s service. I had iSmash replace the battery of my 2014 15" MacBook Pro at the end of 2022 because it wasn’t holding a charge. The laptop was otherwise working perfectly fine. After paying £150 for the battery replacement, the laptop failed to power on a month later. When I brought it back, Shafiq diagnosed the issue as a faulty logic board. I also noticed that the cellophane wrapper was still on the battery iSmash had installed—why wasn’t this removed prior to installation? iSmash then wrote off my laptop, claiming there was nothing more they could do. Recently, I sent the laptop to a third party, who found that it boots fine with a different battery. This indicates that the original diagnosis was incorrect and the replacement battery was faulty. I feel robbed after paying iSmash for a replacement battery that lasted less than a month. I promptly brought the laptop back, only to be told it was beyond repair. Now I have to pay an additional £188 for further work from a third party (receipt available). I reached out to iSmash to provide this feedback but received no response or compensation. The laptop was not correctly diagnosed and was further damaged in the process. I would not recommend iSmash and very disappointed in the service I received.
We visited the Oxford Circus shop and only made some enquiries and didn’t actually book a repair or purchase a replacement phone however the service received from Christian was absolutely exceptional. He was kind, communicative, helpful and knowledgeable. We told him we had walked along way and he gave us a chair to sit on as well as bottles of water! Who else would do this apart from ismash? Cannot recommend customer service enough, thank you Christian!
My daughter's 3 year old Samsung phone stopped working after she dropped it with cracked screen, completely submerging it in water. She could not access her emails and data stored on her phone. Marian at the Liverpool One store (inside the Sky shop) was absolutely fantastic - a screen was sourced (this was fortunate the phone was quite old) for the purposes of transferring data to the new phone I had already bought for my daughter and all the data was transferred successfully! Would absolutely not hesitate to recommend!

Daughters iphone suddenly died so took it to iSmash and they diagnosed and fixed within an hour. Amazing service and will definitely use again!

Jun 06,2024I had a shocking experience in London with iSmash. Took my phone in for a new battery. They took longer than stated and then when I came back to collect they said the phone was water damaged on the faceID sensor. They showed me what they say was a watermark on the sensor. They then tried to say that FaceID might not now work, even though it was working fine when I dropped it in and they had witnessed that in their many tests. They also ask for all your logins which I was hugely uncomfortable with as they can access all your save passwords etc. Not good or safe in my opinion. Anyhow, they went on to replace the battery and then at the end state that they would not warranty their work for the year due to this supposed water damage. I argued but ultimately had no choice but accept to get my phone back. The story doesn't end there.... a few months later and my phone starts to go from 50+% to zero and to crash. Turn it back on and magically that 50+% has vanished... puff... gone. This happened for a few days and then it eventually crashed for good and the phone will not charge or even show a charging symbol (tried wireless charging and the wire). Nada! One dead phone. My advice, go buy a mini power bank for the money you would spend with them. They are crooks in my opinion.
