Apr 30,2024My screen had been cracked for well over a year but never caused me problems. Recently however, it's been randomly tapping and swiping and been so inconvenient, randomly calling people in my contacts..., opening apps, even placing bets when I've been scouting the ponies! It's been half an hour since I picked up my phone, obviously need more time to fully judge if the screen replacement has been a complete success, but it is so nice to have a normal working phone again. Could've kissed Azhar there on the spot when I signed on to my phone for the first time and it wasn't pressing random numbers. Seems a great saver of money as the apple website told me Id have to pay about 250 just to repair the screen! May aswell just cop a new phone for those kinds of prices! Nice inclusion as well to offer a student discount as well, especially with the current state of things. 10/10 - was done after an hour and a half which was perfectly fine for me as I work nearby.

Apr 30,2024I couldn't be happier. When I dropped my Pixel 4a and shattered the screen (first time ever), I walked into iSmash (Bristol Broadmeads) and Priya was helpful, engaging, and informative. My phone was fixed then and there in 90m whilst I went and had a coffee, and easily in time for some very important comms. the next day. They're Google-approved too which is very important to me. Thanks to all at iSmash and the crew in Bristol. I hope I never need you again, but if I do, I know where I'll come!

Apr 26,2024I used to like iSmash. Not any more. Got a screensaver for the princely sum of £20. I was surprised how quick it took to put on. Now I know why. Just 2 weeks later the thing’s already peeling off. That’s ok, I thought; I’ll just take it back because it’s very obviously faulty. It is but it is also “not under warranty so oopsie nothing we can do I’m afraid.” Whatever. I hope you enjoy spending that £20 you embezzled off me as you’ve just lost a customer and here we are…

Apr 22,2024Replaced my iPhone X screen. + job done in less than 30 mins + technician was friendly - Face ID stopped working, unclear of exact cause from conversation with technician - price was quite high: 149£ LE: After 2 months the screen was no longer responding to touch. Went to the shop and they installed a new screen under warranty. Let’s see how long this one lasts. Face ID still not working. Downgrading the rating to one star.

Member of staff guided me through options (no pressure sales). Allowing me to make an informed decision. Work was carried out to a brilliant standard immediately. Very happy and pleased with the repair. Will certainly use again if needed.

Apr 20,2024Completely professional. I felt they cared about my phone and wanted me to be happy. The battery replacement took just over an hour. Just enough time for an excellent late lunch in Coal Drops Yard. They quote 2 to 4 hours because they make an allowance for complications. I would go back again and again.
