Over charged, didn’t provide promised discount. Worse still sent me an open, used product with half the content missing!!! When I sent emails asking for an explanation they were ignored. Eventually followed up are refunded the product price which was appreciated

Food is packaged nicely. All products are fresh. Shipping time is usually reasonable. I have ordered several times from them and will continue to do so.

I ordered 2 months ago, after a month they said it will be shipped out soon but I told them to cancel it they refused they said it’s too late to cancel and so I waited but after another week with no update I decided to just dispute it on my bank

I ordered a product. 3 days later they stated it would be shipped in 3 weeks. I told them to cancel and they refused too. I refused package and it was sent back to them. They refused refund still, and I opened dispute with bank.

It’s been more than a month now since I ordered and at first they said wait for 7-19 business days and I did! After a month I emailed again and they said they detected a fraudulent activity on my account, this is my fourth time ordering from them! And bow they’re not responding to my emails and I sent them messages on their fb and insta account. I suggest to everyone that got scam by this website to file a complain in ftc website so they can investigate them!

We ordered of about 460swiss franks worth of products plus for an express shipment we payed extra money n its been about a month and we havent recived our product when consult to the support team. They just send an reply with a smily face.. its a total scam..

It's a SCAM !!!! They don't have the necessary documents for shipping! Of course, the package is confiscated by customs, and Japanese Taste sends you an email informing you that they will not refund your money!

I’ve ordered from them over half a dozen times and spent thousands. I have never had any complaints. It does take a long time (couple weeks) to get delivered but other than that it’s great

My first experience with this company, utilizing FedEx for shipping, was seamless. However, my second order encountered significant delays and confusion. Despite placing the order promptly, it took 12 days of silence before I contacted them to discover the shipment status. Even more frustrating was the lack of clarity regarding which carrier would be used each time. As a customer, I expect transparency and options when it comes to choosing carriers. Alternatively, the responsibility should fall on the sender to provide all necessary information for smooth clearance processes, especially for shipments to the USA. Having to hunt down carrier, DHL, details for each product is simply unacceptable. What's more disappointing is the apparent lack of intention to rectify the situation or offer a refund for the inconvenience caused by their own shortcomings. As a result, I've decided to take my business elsewhere. It's a pity that what started as a promising experience has now soured due to poor communication and service.

I love this page for the products they have, the quality, prices and services are unmatched, for me it is worth paying the taxes in my country for there products the customer service is excellent, and delivered fast, on point always, definitely one of the best pages to order from Japanese brands

I ordered 4 boxes of Royce chocolate covered potato chips and it arrived as promised in original boxes and was the correct product. A few weeks late but all in good taste! After I placed my order, I read some other nefarious reviews that stated this was not an authentic site I was worried. This worry was verified by the lack of change in the tracking information on the link that was provided by the company website. I assume that because it was arriving from another country using local post it was hard to track? I did also reach out and wrote to their customer service and they sent an email responding “due to the high mailing traffic” (it was before/during the holidays) there would be delays, well many customs checks later… after 5 weeks it arrived. Sadly I had written a bad review in the interim and now I am trying to correct the matter. The Vietnamese shopper (I noticed the name of the sender) in Japan did an excellent job. I think there may be other shoppers who do not have the same standards as the person who sent my package. Needless to say, thank you for delivery, assuaging my fears and now I will recommend the company for this product. With a caveat that there will be a delay in shipping.

I placed my order on 2/9/2024. There were no updates until 3 weeks later, when I received an email from this company that they have fulfilled my order. Shipping took another 3 business days. Item came exactly as expected and was packaged well. However, I ordered cases of dried snacks that were set to expire in 2 months from when I received my items…

After reading other reviews I was hesitant to order here but ended up doing it anyway. Ordered 3th February, received it 8th February. Considering I ordered on a Saturday and they couldn't ship it before Monday 5th and this also has to go through customs but still only took 3 days to be delivered to the other side of the world is amazing. Was shipped with DHL Express to Germany - paid the taxes online. I've read some reviews here of people being upset about having to pay extra which I find kinda funny. You're ordering from Japan, it is YOUR OWN government making you pay import taxes on that. It has nothing to do with Japanese Taste. Maybe read about your country's rules first.

I ordered a parcel on 13.01, they confirmed it to me on 15.01. Until January 29, I had no information about my order. I began to get nervous and wrote to them, they answered me right away. And only at 01.02 I received the parcel tracking number. Today, 02/07 I received the parcel. Packed very carefully, everything is in order. Usually, when I order a parcel, the tracking number is within 3-4 days, so I started writing to them, as a result, everything is fine, so I give them 4 stars. Jelena

This website is scammed! I ordered products from their website, but almost a month. I didn’t get even through update about my order! So, I called my credit card to refund my money back. Luckily, the credit card company processed the money back to me. Don’t order anything from Japanese Taste.com

Do NOT buy from this shop!!! They just sent the package and not responsible for correct delivery. When the package lost they did not help anything. Further more they removed my loyalty program, that means I could not write review on their website.

Order for shipment to UK. First few orders were good until I get double taxed for items purchased. Some of the goods (I mainly get supplements etc) are quite expensive as it is and next thing I know, another bill came from Fedex. They were almost the same amount I've paid. I've looked at other sites, some were honest - listing down the tax and shipment fees on top of the products. I mean I do understand the taxes and all but just didn't like how it went down.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY. IT IS NOT WORTH THE HASSLE. If I can give them no stars I would. I ordered on 5 November 2023 from the UK for 2 birthdays in December or potentially for Christmas. I already built in some extra time for shipping. The package was sent to a completely different person in Switzerland on 27 November. I complained that they made a mistake and demanded money back. But a new replacement order was created instead. This first replacement order did not get shipped until 18 December. It cleared customs before Christmas (21/12) but the collection point never received it even though I received an email for collection. So no presents at all for the December birthdays or Christmas. I had to find other presents in lieu instead. I claimed the first replacement order lost on 2/1/2024. This company decided to create yet a second replacement order on 10/1/2024. I have been trying to get it refunded ever since the first shipment went to Switzerland. Surely it has been more expensive to be shipping out the same set of products 3 times than to refund me. Save yourself hassle by not buying this company.
