May 11,2023If I could give 10 stars, I would. Most complete, thorough, friendly, understanding, flexible travel agency I have ever worked with. Cecilia was a wonderful first contact and initial planner. Valentina and Flavia were our local Italy concierges. Our itinerary was well planned and very personalized. They were available and responsive anytime we had any issues… train cancellation, getting lost in Venice. Valentina met us at our first hotel. Venice, Florence, Rome, Sorrento. All hotels were wonderful. The private drivers for our transfers and private tours became our friends. Everything was first class and exceptional. We were totally spoiled. Memories that will last forever

Apr 30,2023This is our second trip with JayWay and once again they helped us make a memorable trip to Antalya, Konya and Cappadocia As for our favorite memory from the trip, hands down Cappadocia.. the hotel, balloon ride, tour guide. JayWay has great website, quick answers to questions, great guides and ideas, lots of choices and reasonable cost.

Apr 15,2023We had already scheduled a river cruise, so we wanted to see some other things in the area before and after the cruise that JayWay was very helpful in setting up. Elena was very helpful to us - both in setting up final details (transfers, train tickets, etc.) in Europe and also being available to us when we had questions while on our trip. JayWay is a high quality, reliable travel agency. They are always quick to respond to our questions and having someone available to speak to while traveling is very helpful! Having our itinerary available on our phones was also very helpful.

Apr 12,2023Nico was responsive & helpful throughout the planning portion of our trip. Enrico checked on us throughout our journey while in Italy for two weeks and when there were small glitches (only 2, that I recall), he smoothed those out quickly and communicated the new arrangements to us right away. Exceptional service, I'd say. Passionate & knowledgeable tour guides who knew what they were talking about. So informative. Were fun, also. JayWay did all of the leg work for us in advance. They set everything up as far as excursions and sightseeing. We gave them a dollar range as far as hotel accommodations and they provided options to us from which to choose. Private drivers and guides are the way to go. I may never go back to my old way of traveling.

Jan 12,2023I have traveled for years with many different travel agencies. JayWay turned out to be the best. The planning was long term and they met all of our requirements and changes with email responses on a timely basis. The trip included Prague, Vienna, Bratislava and Budapest over the holiday season. The transfer people were waiting for us, the hotels were beautiful and the tour guides were knowledgable. All of the guides and transfer people showed up on time. We had requested hotels with special amenities and they were met. In addition, our travel rep met with us and then checked in every few days to see how everything was going. I will be using them again and I highly recommend them to all.

Jan 05,2023The JayWay travel team customizes each trip to the travelers needs and request. Even if you are in a group and would like other options, they will do so for you. In addition, I want to point out that JayWay provided funds we paid for a trip that was supposed to take place during COVID to be used two year later, ensuring we did not loose any of our money. I also liked not knowing the cost of individual trip components. For me, that made everything easier to enjoy once I had accepted the final trip proposal cost.

Dec 02,2022This experience was apalling. The travel agent ghosted me for weeks to go over the fine details of my trip to Central Europe and never fulfilled my needs to hold my hand for a 26 day trip. They were unresponsive to my requests and unable to fulfill my itinerary because they did not have relationships with tour people and vendors for my locations and requested activities. For example bike riding tours in various cities. I tried hard to work with them but I had to go elsewhere. The agent was cairn and he was a pompous ass.

If you want a well-planned curated experience, this company will be perfect. They took the time to understand what experiences we wanted, the types of hotels we preferred and everything was on the money.

Oct 19,2022My son and I just got back from a fabulous 2 weeks in Italy. This trip had to be postponed twice because of Covid and some other unexpected health issues. JayWay Travel provides the personal support and expertise to custom design an itinerary that meets the specific needs and desires of their traveling clients. They are very accommodating of changes during the planning process. Highly recommended.

Oct 18,2022Trip to Hungary JayWay arranged a week in Hungary for us after a river cruise. Everything went as planned with great hotels and drivers. Activities and guides were great and we probably would never have found them on our own. Hungary is a beautiful country. Highly recommended.

Not only did their planning services save us time and energy, but having access to them during the trip gave us great peace of mind. Oct 10,2022We enjoyed our Jay Way trip. We custom designed a trip to Germany and Czech Republic with a one day trip through our ancestral villages. Our drivers and tour guides were all knowledgeable and enjoyable. They gave us great suggestions of other things to do while we were in their city and shared the culture of the area. This type of travel is for those who are not afraid to stay by themselves in a strange city. You have to do your homework and research ahead of time. You have to feel comfortable in a city without someone with you all the time. They give you a sim card for your phone and you can call a contact person, but it is your responsibility to get to some of the tours. Sometimes the tour guide would meet us at the hotel, other times we were to find the tour place given the directions and address. Jay Way also supplied list of sites, restaurants, bars, activities that they suggest for each city along with helpful information. We would defiantly go on another Jay Way trip, it’s exactly the way we like to travel. We could choose the activities we wanted to do from a long list of ideas, We could choose the hotels, times for tours and the order we visited the towns and cities. Once you take this type of trip, you don’t want to go back to a large group tour.

Why ? because of JayWay travel and Danielle who set up a fantastic itinerary but was FLEXIBLE in accommodating our groups needs. Adjusting schedules and items as we toured went along way toward a wonderful experience. In addition, he and his fellow guides showed a passion for their country, it's food and drink, history and beauty that was very contagious. If you ever get the chance to Tour Italy, this is the ONLY way to go.

It was clear that the staff has extensive knowledge of the country which led to fantastic activities, hotels and restaurant recommendations. The detailed itinerary was easy to follow and allowed us to have a worry-free trip. JayWay Travel provided exceptional service prior to and during our trip and I would recommend them to anyone travelling to Europe.

Sep 26,2023We contacted JayWay to set up a private travel plan for two of us for 9 days in Istria -Croatia and Slovenia. (2023). Initially, planning went well and we were glad to be with a travel agency that advertised personalized and flexible tours. However, we were discouraged from making any changes (each change cost $250 US). Costs began to climb and we soon became aware why. For example - we did not know that hotel room costs were for each person, We decided to forfeit our substantial deposit and make travel plans on our own. We had a great trip. Went to where we wanted to go and for how long. Our costs were substantially less than Jay Way’s proposal.
