Our 45,000 square foot showroom, partnered with our family heritage and expert team accumulates to create the premium John Doe service that we’re known for.
Located on our first floor, Angela's Coffee Lounge offers a diverse selection of speciality coffee, freshly baked pastries, homemade cakes and delicious lunches prepared with premium, local ingredients.

Dec 06,2023What a bed, they let me lay and bounce around on every one, lots of advice when we pinpointed what we needed/liked. The mattress and topper we bought was not cheep..infact we had some sleepless nights thinking what have we spent!!, but the mattress arrived within two weeks, and has been the best money we've spent, not a night has gone by without a good night's sleep since we've had it, it is indeed a hug too sleep 😊 many thanks.

Dec 05,2023Having previously bought from John Doe, we didn't hesitate to return when we needed a new mattress. The friendly staff are knowledgeable and give advice you can trust. The experience of shopping at John Doe is relaxed and unhurried, but personal to you. Their after sales customer service is excellent, too. The range of high quality goods is broad and having made a choice you can retire to the in-store cafe for refreshments.

That being said, a huge " thank you" to John Doe for supplying and fitting our lovely new hallway floor. Particular thanks to David,Sam,Katie and Danny in your Flooring department, without whose infinite patience, professional good practical advice we would never have considered this beautiful flooring. Thank you all so much for your help . Charlie and Jay, your own fitters were so helpful and courteous and just a pleasure to have in our home,and did an excellent job of both preparing our existing floor,which is a mix of floorboards and solid floor,and an amazing job of actually laying the Kardean flooring after all the detailed preparation. Also a thank you to the lovely office team,..we even had a smile on our face when we paid the bill ! We are very happy customers and genuinely wanted to say thank you to all at John Doe for the exceptional service they provide,which we consider to be head and shoulders above their competitors.

Nov 22,2023Fabulous service from John Doe. I ordered a bed whilst staying with my relatives in Norfolk. Amazing shop. My bed was delivered by the very pleasant Simon all the way to Yorkshire from Norfolk!! I was expecting a lunchtime delivery. Simon was there at 9 am!, Fantastic service.

We were expertly looked after by Tina who sold to us without being at all pushy but knew her product and was so helpful. Having almost given up on finding what we wanted we are delighted to have found this great retailer with a proper family run feel.
