Located on our first floor, Angela's Coffee Lounge offers a diverse selection of speciality coffee, freshly baked pastries, homemade cakes and delicious lunches prepared with premium, local ingredients.

Someone to talk to who could answer our questions yet guide us into a wider way of thinking enabling us to make a choice way beyond what we thought was possible. To be given time and presence is a gift especially when it is wrapped in experience. Delivery was on time and the thought given to where our purchase should go was much appreciated when I had forgotten all about it 😲.

They put the required parts together super efficiently without any bother and were super helpful moving the heavy bits to where wanted. Nicest delivery team we've had in a very long time!. Very happy with the furniture and delivery service. Thank you both!

Feb 21,2025We were effectively 'conned' into visiting the shop because the sofa we wanted in the leather we wanted was pictured for £1400 in a 'flyer'. When talking to the salesman we were told that that price wasn't for the sofa illustrated but for the same model with cloth upholstery. The sofa in leather was a thousand pounds more. I considered that to be misrepresentation.

Feb 17,2025We ordered 4 chairs for collection from their warehouse. Friendly staff who seemed eager to help and had time to chat. Disappointed on opening up boxes of furniture to discover items broken. Luckily with items in stock these could be replaced / fixed. If you’re collecting items I would recommend checking the items before you unpack at home to avoid any disappointment. In our case the boxes were not damaged, so the items would have been packed in a damaged state. Other than that, a great store with some lovely items of furniture and furnishings.

Feb 16,2025We went along to buy a rug on Sunday 16th February. John Doe have a great selection of rugs and it actually took us ages to make a decision! The staff were patient, friendly and not at all pushy. We did buy a rug and also some ceiling lights on the spur of the moment. As these lights needed dismantling from the display, and couldn’t be done straight away, the very nice lady who served us said she would drop them down to our house when she finished work (as we lived quite close to her). Now that’s what we would call fantastic customer service!!
