I ordered glasses in November and my daughter did too a few days after. Items had not arrived after the 14days and had to send countless emails, delayed or no response when I eventually got a response was told they would be here the following week and they were. My daughter on the other hand has had no responses and can not get through on phone at all, disappointing as they were Xmas gifts. They clearly do not hold stock and are not upfront enough about this. I wouldn't order from them again.

I really think these people are scammers. They tell you after you’ve paid that the item is out of stock. Don’t offer a refund. Then ignore emails. Every other online store marks their out of stock products up front, so I don’t see why these cannot.

Liz at Kings & Queens returned my Husbands email as I'd not received any replies . I requested a refund as item not delivered in time for Christmas. & was promptly refunded . Thank you Liz !

Similar story to others. Email some time after ordering saying out of stock. 7-10 days before it would be in. 3 wks late still waiting. No-one answers the phones, did get one email response to say stick was due in for last Wed, 9 days on, nothing.… can still order my items on their site which doesn’t seem right given they don’t have them in stock. I’d avoid using them in future.

Ordered 2 Vera wang glasses as a Xmas present on 29 November and received an e mail to say out of stock on the 30th with delivery expected in 7 to 10 days! Tried e mailing 3 times now and no response. Tried phoning today but no luck so far. Quite worrying really Catherine

Ordered a 24cm lid from them early 2nd December. I got an email the next day saying deliver would be between 7-14 working days. I followed up after 14 working days as I hadn’t heard anything. I did get a reply quickly saying the item didn’t arrive from their supplier who have closed for Christmas so delivery wouldn’t be until the end of January. I didn’t believe this to be acceptable so requested to cancel the order - which they did and are now refunding me. In all - I didn’t receive the product but the customer service was actually decent and responsive. Looks like a supply chain issue as someone has mentioned but I’m sure this will improve in future.

I placed an order on 20th November and have not received any recent update on the order despite emailing. The order was a Christmas present, a birthday present and mugs to use over Christmas. If there are supply issues, fair enough, but please let us know and we can make other arrangements.

My mother has had the exact same problem as recent reviewers, placed a large order a month ago, they took the money but don’t have the stock and now won’t answer the phone or reply to the many emails sent. Have they gone bust??? Kings and Queens, if you are reading this please respond to your customers straight away. Taking money off people at Christmas and leaving them out of pocket, you should be ashamed of yourselves.

Ordered on 3rd Dec. I was emailed by Kings & Queens on 4th Dec who told me that the lead time was 7-10 days and that they'd email me when dispatched. Complete silence thereafter. No contact from them after 2 1/2 weeks so I emailed them saying that if they weren't going to ship it immediately, then cancel my order. Only redeeming interaction was that they cancelled and have refunded my order promptly but that's not enough in my opinion to warrant a 2 star experience - I would have just done a chargeback on my card. Seems like there's more success in emailing their admin address rather than ringing their phones as other recent reviews indicate long wait times. I won't be ordering from them again. Very poor stock management (if any). Looking on their website, the products I ordered still show as in stock and are orderable (one on clearance, so if that's not in stock then that raises more questions). I don't believe their website banner that says "our stock updates might experience a slight delay" - I cannot see a single thing on their website that is out of stock, everything is orderable. I think that they just take a punt that people will order things and then hope they arrive at some point... Very disappointing. Do not order.

I ordered from this company on 11th December. The following day I received an email saying they were awaiting stock which should arrive within 4-6 days. Despite this, they have taken the money from my account for an item they don’t have in stock?!? I have tried contacting them twice by email for updates as the time frame has now passed. Today, I have been trying to contact them by phone and when I could get through the line rings out with no answer. This is extremely poor service and would recommend people avoid purchasing from this company. I expect now I have probably lost my money and don’t expect the item to arrive.

Same as everyone else. Ordered in early December, almost immediately received an email to say an item was out of stock. Have been trying to contact via email and phone ever since, but cannot get hold of them at all. No idea of my item will arrive in time to give my Christmas presents. I get that companies have stock issues, but you can’t just ignore customers trying to contact you!! Totally unacceptable and will have to raise a dispute, along with having to make apologies to my family in Christmas Day that they don’t have any presents and it’s too late now to order alternatives. Not happy. Avoid!!

Placed an order 8th December for Galway crystal glasses as part of a Christmas gift, I was emailed back to say they were out of stock but would be back in stock in 7 to 10 days and would be shipped immediately. It has now been 13 days and no further contact from the company, I have emailed twice since the 10days has lapsed and they haven't responded, it is now too late to receive the item in time for Christmas I have had to buy elsewhere, I have emailed to ask for a refund but of course no reply.

Ordered on the 6th dec got an email to say was out of stock and it would 7-10 days. I’ve emailed a fair few times and no response. Iv tried calling and just get cut off. Looks like I won’t be getting my order in time for Christmas. Not happy as this was a gift and now I’ll be out of pocket having to buy another gift.

I have ordered twice from Kings and Queens, the first order was fairly large order of Royal Dolton crockery, some of which was delayed, and I had to chase for an update. I placed second order in November 2023, for some Royal Doulton bowls and a set of kitchen knives. I chased my order and was sent a very apologetic email saying that they had been expecting stock which had not arrived. I was told to contact them again if I had any further issues. I chase again over month after my order was placed and got no response, I followed up a week later asking for a refund, no response, but I got an email a day or so later saying that my order was ready for dispatch. Kings and queens appear to have great prices for quality products, sadly service lets them down.

This company do not answer their emails or the phone. I placed an order over 2 weeks ago and they sent me a tracking email which is useless as they haven’t supplied me with details to track it with. I would advise not to order from them if you want something promptly. However having said that the next day after writing this I have received an email notifying me that my order is on its way with tracking details.

Ordered glasses (Galway) at the beginning of December and received an email saying they're out of stock. I emailed them and called multiple times and I'm getting no response. I hung on the phone line today for 30mins and still no answer - just ringing out. If not going to arrive for Christmas I would have liked to cancel and get an alternative. Now I don't even know if I'll have delivery or not. Some communication from them would be reassuring!

Placed order on the 1st December , received email to say they were waiting for stock 7-10 days , heard no more chased and was told order would be with me mid week , I have had no tracking sent and have tried calling and have emailed twice now with no response . Very disappointed as I have had great service from this company previously, but could do with out the stress on top of Christmas ,I would have preferred honesty !! This has now messed up a gift for someone ! Perhaps if they couldn’t fulfil the order the money should never have been taken ! Company finally contacted and issued a full refund, so I have changed the star rating .

These guys are obviously having some problems with their inventory - I ordered on 7 December and haven't heard a dicky bird despite emailing. I was almost ready to give up and write a moany review whilst on the phone to their customer services line listening to the phone ring out with no answer after enduring a few minutes of their manic automated response. However it was eventually answered - I spoke to very lovely Liz - and she assures me the parcel is going out tomorrow and she'd see to it personally as the stock just arrived. Sounds like supply chain issues, so I wouldn't order from them if you're in a rush.... but I'm looking forward to my parcel arriving asap as it's a xmas gift and shout out to Liz for her lovely phone manner! Thanks Liz. Update - my order arrived 48hrs later, and in time for Christmas. Thank you again Liz!
