Knox is a British company specialising in the design and manufacturing of innovative body armour and apparel, mainly for motorcycling but also other adrenalin sports too.

Knox HQ is based in the beautiful Lake District in Cumbria and apparel is developed by a design team, based in the Knox Studio in London.

Knox has always had a pioneering spirit and has taken an innovative and unique approach to the development of motorcycle protection and apparel since it started, in 1981. For Knox making protection and apparel is so much more than just the next wonder material, more than just the science of kilo newtons, CE levels and impact testing, more than a CE certificate.

When the delivery service failed to deliver according to the instructions Knox staff resolved it straight away for me rather than me having to do the stressful task.

From the purchasing point of view very easy the website as well laid out and easy to work. We live in New Zealand and from order to delivery was amazingly quick in fact probably quicker than if I wouldn’t something locally. We ordered some of the new light weight riding jeans. These replace an old other brand heavy Pehr. They are incredibly comfortable to wear a very flexible and look good very happy with the purchase

I recently purchased the Men's Dual Pro 3 in 1 Jacket to wear over an Urbane Pro armoured shirt. The Dual Pro seems well made and with many clever features. Sadly, for me, it was totally unfit for purpose. I ride a motorcycle with a fairing and this directs airflow to my upper arms and shoulders. The outer fabric of the Dual Pro flaps like mad in this airflow at any speed above 50mph. At 70, it was flapping about so bad my eyeballs were shaking; it was totally unsustainable. It may be good on something much slower like a scooter or on a naked bike which has a different airflow but I suspect it would still flap like mad on any bike at speeds above 50mph. I left a review on planet-knox.com but it appears that that they do not publish negative reviews on there which is rather disingenuous of them. And, contrary to what Knox might say, the Urbane Pro shirt I have is also an XXL- not a size M. So, both are the same size and fit quite well- Neither are baggy. The Dual Pro does not have any sinching straps on the sleeves (often found in quality motorcycle wear), that may have alleviated the terrible flapping of the fabric but I am not convinced even they would have helped. The outer fabric is very lightweight so in hindsight, this is bound to be an issue.

This company sell great products so when they had a sale on I thought I’d purchase some of there Jeans. On looking at there various selection of jeans I was disappointed to find that quite a lot of sizes were not available anyway I found some I liked and ordered them to the size that they recommended only to find when they arrived they were much too big for me so I sent them back and asked them for a smaller size they didn’t have any in my size.

Ignore the glove size guide! Ordered the size glove recommended via the size guide, they arrived far too small, sorted out getting the next size up which are also on the tight side but will hopefully stretch to fit better. The gloves are far from what you'd consider a premium product, poor and inconsistent stitching, badly placed material panels, certainly not worth the price paid (even at sale price!) My rating would have been one star, however, customer service was good so an extra star given.
