Oct 05,2024Same as many others here. 'Onetime payment' shown, paid. Then signed up automatically into the service with lack of consent at all for the direct debit. Can tell at lot about a service by the lengths they go through to make the process unclear to get as much money from you as possible till you notice. Expecting a refund for the 'subscription' you signed me up for. Follow Up: Copy and pasted a generic reply stating they would message me requesting information for refund. Have done no such thing, no closer to getting the refund.

Oct 05,2024Absolute shocking platform. My wife signed our daughter up to the service believing that it was at minimal cost but only to be charged nearly £20 one month after. Clearly a lesson to read the small print so one to learn from! Avoid for the above but also because the actual service offered was terrible, just use a word doc yourself!! Additional info as of 14/10/24 - contacted by Trustpilot at the request of Live Career wanting proof that I just didn’t make up a bad review. Provided required info and heard nothing. My view remains, Live Career is a useless website and cons people out of money. Read all of the other reviews on Trust Pilot I wish I had done so beforehand!

Oct 03,2024Misleading Fraudulent Service! Paid £1.95 to download a CV template 2 weeks ago only to find they have now taken another £19.85 yesterday! Called the helpline number and explained the issue and they hung up on me straight away! No option to cancel these stealth subscriptions, and when you go to your account it just takes you back to your C.V AVOID!!!!!!!!!

Oct 01,2024I am very disappointed with their service, because I use the cv builder and received notification that I should pay £1.95 to download it and use the service for14 days period. But after that in the next 14 days they activated subscription and started to take £19.85 without my permission, to inform me or to give me option to cancel it. They keep my card details and there is no option from my personal account to cancel, delete or unsubscribe.When l saw the transactions and contacted them they answered that will refund me only £9.93,without any other explanation and l am waiting to see if I will receive it.They give you various way to create cv, but do not give you options to menage your account, because they want to keep and use your payment details unlawfully.

Sep 30,2024Signed up, the way it was worded was like it was free for the first month with manual renewal. Then 3 months later I discover from my bank statements that they’ve taken £20 each month, so £60 in total and could only refund me 50% of the current months payment (we were 1 day into the new month) so I got £9 back. Now I’m not subscribed anymore because of this ridiculous scam obviously targeting people who are desperate for even just an interview….. so I can’t even go back and edit my cv, can’t even download it to my PC - the same cv which I basically spent £60 on. Now I have to build a whole new cv from scratch because without paying their monthly fee you can’t even touch your cv which you made with them - even if you made 3 months worth of payments!!! Absolute scam, sickens me how they prey on the vulnerable. No doubt they’ll skip over this review and only reply to the 5 star ones. Which ironically only come from people whom this is their first review? Obviously fake reviews. Trust the 1 stars and search them on google reviews too before you give them your money

Sep 30,2024For the past few months, you've been charging my card without my consent, even though I only used your site once to purchase a CV. The costs were hidden, and these charges have been taken automatically every month. The subscription was canceled as soon as I realized it. I’m requesting an immediate refund of all charges. If I don’t receive a response or my money back, I will escalate this to the proper authorities. I hope you'll show a bit of humanity here and that we can resolve this easily. EDIT I only received part of the money withdrawn from my account at that time. I honestly do not recommend this website to anyone. Over time, customer service began to ignore my messages because I demanded a full refund of the funds withdrawn from my bank account...
