Called to cancel my subscription gave my account id , mobile number & email address and they could not find my account to cancel there was no information I could have have charged me £19 for 7 months and was nothing I could do about this!

Feb 20,2025they charge money without warning and do not give back 100 once you notice the withdrawal. I also did not like the quality of the app. So I tried one to improve cv and did not come back, but the took the money. Clarification provided by live career just confirms that they do send warning before taking money , instead they send very unfriendly and lengthy letters

Feb 20,2025Poor customer service Take money unauthorised from bank Would not respond on 'chat' when asked for cancellation of subscription and a refund. However were happy to attempt to sell me reduced subscriptions. Minor daughter, who initially paid £1.95 for a CV service. However, they set up a. Subscription and proceeded to take an additional £19.85. She is a minor and did not have the authority to authorise any recurring subscription payments. So paid £21.80 for a CV. Refused to reply to communications.

Feb 20,2025It was really easy to pop my CV, which i was not happy with, into the website with just a drag and drop, and then go through it section by section. The rewording was helpful, but it also enabled me to make changes and also to decline changes around how it was worded so that it did not seem too AI driven. As an ADHDer, who can find these types of processes a challenge, it was dead easy with a low one off cost and made the prospect of an evening redoing my CV a doddle that took a couple of hours tops. And it looks great.

Feb 15,2025It's a joke! You pay for one time service 1.95 eur and then they charge you 25 eur for subscription. When you realized money dissappeared from your account (it usually take few days) they don't want to refund you fully even though you didn't use the platform! After all they offer a partial refund which needs 7 to 14 days 😂 Putting a blame for "your financial institution" - Ladies and gentlemen money transfer today's time takes maximum 2 days! And my financial institution is booking it straight away! Watch out people and stay away from this platform!

Feb 15,2025Initally got what I needed, an urgent CV template for less than €2 when I was away from computer. 2 weeks later I was charged for almost €24 for an unknown reason. I didnt sign up for anything, didnt receive any emails about an upcoming charge or why I was charged. They just debited my account. Disgusted they stored my card information. They gave me half the money back and will not acknowledge any question I ask them about why my card was debited or how they calculated half money back when I raised the claim 1 day after the charge.

Feb 15,2025CV writing templates are ok easy to complete if you already have a CV they don't advise very clearly that there is a monthly subscription and they also don't have a clear cancel option on your account page so this is false representation, misadvertising and unlawful in uK as all the options allow you to do is unsubscribe from emails, there is no option to cancel your account clearly labelled apart from calling or emailing them, calling does not work !! and processing for no emails subscriptions takes up to 7 working days by this time means you would have paid them over £35 for a CV a covering letter and or advice which to be fair is not mind blowing or going to get you a job its subjective to that individual. I won't use or recommend again my advice is to avoid avoid avoid
