We are a family run business trading since 1989 first under the Name Chiltern Reptiles and then became an incorporated company in 2003 when we changed our name to Livefood UK Ltd. Because we are a small close knit company with just 10 employees we are able to really concentrate on customer care which has been the driving force behind our continued growth despite the harsh economic climate.

Mail order livefood supplies for reptiles birds monkeys spiders lizards snakes frogs toads newts. Also full range of reptile accessories and vivarium supplies.

Just got my first order from livefoods and I am very impressed. The delivery arrived next day and was well packaged. I ordered 50 live locusts and I think only 1 was dead on arrival which was better than I could have expected. I also ordered a small viv to keep them in and that was was wrapped to protect it with the mice I also ordered wrapped inside. Overall this was a great buy at a discounted price than if I had gone to the shops and bought several individual packs of locusts and they are surviving well. Will definately be using again :D

The delivery speed is average. "Please note Our locust sizes are bigger than most other suppliers." This is not true, I keep recieveing small instead of large. The most irritating thing is I also recieve lots of baby crickets, worms and bettles in with the locust. Sorting the locusts apart from them is time consuming and the crickes tend to escape a lot...which my parents hate! However sometimes I do recieve the correct size and no extra bugs and they are better than regular shops.

Livefoods are by far the best reptile shop around! my boxes of insects always come in good condition with minimal dead and lots of live healthy crickets. They are always delivered the next working day too!!

I have never had a problem ordering my livefood or any other items from this website. Items always arrive quickly and well packaged. I've been using them for years with no issues - the one time there was a problem with my order they were quick to rectify the situation. Very reliable, I know that my order will arrive the next day. This is now the only website I use for my livefood as I find it's the best one! :-)

Prompt professional service, who always display a customer focused approach. They are receptive to problems however small and are keen to ensure customer satisfaction is a priority. I would never go anywhere else now.

I've been using for years and have ahd some bad experiences from dead food to parts of my order missing but the latest in a long line of blunders beggers belief I payed a week ago and still to this day have not received my order after being promised a replacement had been sent out yet no replacement had been sent out so not only do they not send the order out but also blatantly lie about sending a replacement out and the delivery cost as rocketed to a price you could get a sack of crickets for I would advice against using this company as I will never ever use again at least if your gonna lie make sure you update your system to reflect that a joke

Very quick delivery. Always alive. The only problem is the uneven cricket size per shipment. I can get a bag full of juicy big crickets and the next shipment you can have just a swarm of tiny little once. Apart from that - very good source of food for your pets.

I ordered a pre-pack box of crickets for my geeckos from this site. The crickets arrived in good condition and very swiftly. My only minor niggle is the pre-pack also contained beetle larvae which needed to be removed on arrival. I've been a customer with them for many years and would definitely recommend them.
