We are a family run business trading since 1989 first under the Name Chiltern Reptiles and then became an incorporated company in 2003 when we changed our name to Livefood UK Ltd. Because we are a small close knit company with just 10 employees we are able to really concentrate on customer care which has been the driving force behind our continued growth despite the harsh economic climate.

Apr 20,2013I was hesitant to use a postal service for live food for my dragons, since we moved house I can no longer use the local shop we have always used. I have had a couple of orders now from livefoods and couldn't be happier, 100% of the crickets & locusts were alive on delivery (even though I missed the postie once and had to wait until after the weekend) well packed and long lasting, a great way to buy food for reptiles. I wont even bother looking for a shop now :)

Apr 08,2013Mealworms arrived following day after dispatch. 10-15% of contents were flat, black worms which I don't believe were a result of being in transit. Company sales response was to offer additional mealworms on future order. I don't consider this action to be a satisfactory means of making amends. Will not be making future purchases from this Company.

I've been particularly impressed by the excellent health of the locusts I've ordered from them, which are beautiful, active and clean and in much better condition than the ones I got from the shop down the road before I found Livefood UK! Livefood UK have very high standards and pride in their work, and obviously take great care of their live stock. Other products also arrive rapidly and well packed, I've never had a product from them that's been damaged in transit. Livefood UK is a superb company to dealwits and I highly recommend them!

I wanted something that was not on the site, contacted them and had a response from Steve in record time advising of an alternative or that he could source the item I wanted - it was then on their website within hours and delivered to me the day after it was in stock and my pets are very happy indeed with it!! Great service, I will definitely buy from this seller again.
