Jun 23,2024The staff were great, phoning up to make the initial booking was super easy with recommendations from someone with actual knowledge of visiting the island (Charmaine). I had a few email queries before I went which were always answered quickly. Getting there, the local reps were brilliant, with a recommendation for a must-see show that was incredible and great info on getting around and what to look out for. I didn't have an issue myself but another couple that were there didn't like the hotel they were in so the rep moved them to a different one straight away with no extra charge. The Havana tour was great, with a guide who knew what he was talking about and was very informative, although perhaps would have liked to have stopped at a few more of the places rather than just driving past them. The hotel in Havana and the resort in Varadero were both brilliant, staff friendly and all spoke great English (Frustratingly I didn't get to try out the Spanish I had learnt before going, but that was probably for the best) both had great services and places to eat. To be a bit critical, at the resort in Varadero, the Royalton Hicacos, the bathroom around the shower/bath was a bit grimy, I'm not talking mold on the walls or anything but certainly could have done with a deep clean and the fact that there was no wi-fi in the rooms, and it was patchy everywhere but reception, was quite frustrating. That I couldn't immediately make everyone at home jealous with pictures on Instagram really hurt me :). Also the shower in the hotel in Havana (Iberostar Parque Central) could have used modernisation, it was like standing in a light drizzle. These were minor issues though and don't take away from a great experience. In short, if you are planning a holiday to Cuba, I can't imagine any other company would be close to these guys in terms of service.

Jun 06,2024We have booked a holiday for February 2026, which is a long was off but it is to celebrate 2 special occasions. I spoke to someone a few weeks ago but the travel consultant, at Love Cuba, was rather vague and difficult to hear. She advised me to call back nearer the time. Just last week I called back and spoke with Shyama who was most helpful. After several phone calls and an itinerary, it seemed no problem for Shyama to make a few changes as per our wishes. She gave advice about where to go and which hotels would suit us. Yesterday afternoon, I paid a small deposit and by lunchtime today a lot of information arrived with the new itinerary for the tailor made holiday. It is very detailed and easy to follow. We think we will have a fantastic, special trip thanks to Shyama and Love Cuba. I am very excited already although my husband chose the destination.
