Mar 27,2024I was quite anxious travelling to Cuba and have to say Love Cuba were excellent both in the UK and in resort. I was particularly impressed when the rep in Havana greeted us even before we had collected our luggage and took me outside to meet our driver who would take us to our hotel. The rep in resort was very helpful and arranged a couple of trips for us. One of which was excellent fun. Everything ran very smoothly from the flights, the transfers, the excursions etc. There was one slight error on our paperwork but that was soon solved. We flew with Lufthansa and Condor via Frankfurt and again, flights were excellent and on time.

Mar 22,2024I booked a two-centre holiday with Love Cuba last week, to Havana and Varadero for this June. Tony took my call and gave me all the information I needed. He was knowledgeable about Cuba, knew the hotels he was recommending and was able to describe them. I took the information away to discuss with my partner and we decided on a different hotel for Havana, one that Tony had mentioned initially as an alternative. When I rang back two days later to book the holiday, Tony was quickly able to send a requote for the alternative hotel and I went ahead with the booking. The booking process was straight forward, although I did not receive the booking confirmation straight away as, for some reason, there was a glitch in the system. Tony rang and updated me on what was happening, and assured me that the payment had gone through and the flights and hotels had been booked. I appreciated his call as I had been looking out for the confirmation email. I received the confirmation shortly after when the issue with the system had been resolved, and I am now looking forward to my holiday!

Mar 21,2024Love Cuba!! The booking process was good, lots of information given, however, it was a different story when we actually went on our holiday. We arrived in Havana, the Vintage car transfer was terrible, chugged along, falling apart and fumes were overpowering. Journey to Varadero on coach took 4 1/2 hours and coach was over an hour late to pick us up. We arrived at the 5* Sanctuary at Grand Memories Varadero Hotel. I wouldn’t give it 1*, a filthy, dirty place with very annoying staff. Sewage leaking in the grounds and the Junior Suite was absolutely appalling. The Manager of hotel offered us lobster every night if we stayed!!! Contacted Rep, changed room which was no better. She moved us next day, however by the time we arrived at new hotel we had wasted 2 days holiday. It was so stressful it made us ill and ruined my 70th Birthday. On return home I emailed the Customer Services Manager at Love Cuba with my complaint and photographs, that was over a month ago, still no reply not even acknowledgement. If things go wrong they don't want to know. I followed up with 2 more emails asking for response, still nothing. These ‘Specialists’ had advised that the Hotel was lovely! Obviously, they haven’t been there. It shouldn’t even be on their books. There was a lot more to complain about but I can’t go into now. In a nutshell, I wouldn’t recommend Love Cuba to anyone, our experience was like a bad dream and still is! I cannot understand how Love Cuba get good reviews, although having read some of them they are after booking, not after having been on holiday. Be careful, do not go to this Hotel.

Mar 21,2024Just returned from our holiday to Cuba. All booked through Love Cuba. Was a little unsure as hadn’t heard of them before. However the whole experience was great. Would book again with them.👍 We booked our 2 resort package thru them and our agent Charmaine Miller was helpful throughout and often gave as extra advice and support and called back when requested. All information, tickets etc came thru in plenty of time. On arriving in Havana. We was met by our local rep there and even meet us in the customs hall and expedited our route thru to enable quick baggage collection. Then we was transported to our hotel via one of the Cuban classic cars, all part of Love Cuba package. what a start. Was met at our Havana hotel by our Love Cuba rep Dennis. He wasn’t into the normal hard sell etc you get normally but about informing us about Havana life and getting about. If you wanted trips he was there to help. The half day bus and walking tour organised by Love Cuba was a must and a great experience. Day of transfer to Varadaro beach resort Dennis on hand again to ensure we are collected and on board👍 just a suggestion if you can afford it get a private taxis, as coach transfer is very long ie picking up other hotel quests etc before onward travel made whole journey 4 hrs, where our return was by private taxis and was only 2.5 hrs. Now for the only disappointment was no Love Cuba rep at our hotel on day of arrival🤔 only found them 3 days in by luck, when walking thru bar and they weren’t aware of our arrival🤔. Didn’t see them again and only got a WhatsApp message in departure day telling us what time we was being picked up. The only issue with that was that internet access is very very poor In Cuba and I didn’t get that message until I arrive home, so not much use. Love Cuba need to sort this as it was the only blemish on the whole experience with them. Would recommend them any time if you are thinking of visiting Cuba.

Apr 02,2024After emailing Love Cuba requesting a quote for a Two/ three centre holiday Laura responded immediately with an option. When I requested further information she once again responded with some further options and was happy to chat with me on the phone. Laura offered some great advice about Cuba such as what currency was best to use and what food/drinks may cost in order to budget accordingly. Laura was very professional, extremely personable and was patient when i asked lots of questions!!! Iam so excited to go to Cuba and Laura made the process so easy! I would most definitely recommend Laura and her team!
