Oct 05,2021On 22nd June 2021 my wife and I used Magna to exchange a large amount of pounds to an overseas bank account. This was after incessant telephone calls repeatedly going over the procedure and not simply answering the questions asked. Also talking to my wife and I as though we were unable to understand anything about currency exchange. We asked what exchange rate we would get and he said he could not advise that as our deal was being piggy-backed on a much larger deal which we were told would benefit us. Magna ended up exchanging at as much as 0.03 less that the going rate! At the time, we were under pressure to get the money transferred so we went ahead with the transfer as Magna assured us that this would be the best rate we would get. Since then, needing to transfer more money, we researched other companies and have transferred money with another company who gave us a rate only 0.0021 less than the going rate and everything was managed simply, quickly and efficiently without the unnecessary and overpowering input from Magna. Bearing in mind that the second amount was very much smaller than the first and Magna had advised us and responded to another customer's feedback that larger values attract better exchange rates, the service provided by Magna was atrocious. If anyone asked me who to use for currency exchange, Magna would not be a name I would mention. Since posting this review, we have been asked by Trustpilot, on Magna's request, to edit it several times to remove explanatory detail in what we see as an attempt to render the review ineffective and meaningless.

Oct 04,2021Magna finance was recommended to me by my estate agents in Lanzarote. I had sold my villa and needed to transfer the moneys back to the uk. I was contacted by a young man called Joshua who was very helpful, explained everything I needed to do and made me feel at ease. It was a very easy process, I just had to transfer my money into their London account and then they transferred it into my account. Would highly recommend Joshua at Magna Finance.

Sep 29,2021We needed the service to transfer and change currency after a property sale abroad. The rate of exchange given was competitive. The process was fast and security was considered. Our queries and questions were promptly answered by Mr Abbassi as well as being updated by him throughout the all stages. We are happy and will recommend the Magna Financial and will be using them if needed in the future.

Sep 22,2021Saeed was recommended to us by a spanish estate agent, Live Spain For Life. We agreed for our details to be passed to Magna Financial and Saeed contacted us the same day. The process for transferring funds was explained over the phone. There was no pressure to use Magna Financial, and when we were ready , our first amount was transferred quickly and easily. As we had a bit of a nightmare getting our visas, it took months to get our new property sorted, and Saeed kept in contact regularly, always able to offer advice when needed. We have since transferred two further amounts which were also simple and quick Saeed, in my opinion, is professional, helpful, never pushy, only ever did what we asked him to do, and he did it quickly. I can 100% recommend Saeed, definitely worth a call, I am sure you wont be disappointed I have already recommended him to some friends who are looking to move abroad.

Sep 18,2021We are buying a property in Spain and we needed to transfer our deposit for our Spanish mortgage. I had been contacted by 2 FX broker. One is one of the leader on the FX market, the other was Saaed from Magnafinancial. What I first appreciated with Magnafinancial was their customised approach and professionalism towards their potential client. I was a bit hesitant at the begining to use a small player. But we decided to go with Magnafinancial to maximise the Euros amount received post conversion. Looking back, I am really pleased to have used their services. Every step was explained and happened as expected The conversion was done smoothly and the transfer to our Spanish account was fast. Saaed even made sure afterwards that the money had arrived in Spain as expected. Top quality service with no hidden fees.

It is a very nerve wracking experience moving money, however Saeed was with us every step of the way and was very reassuring, would highly recommend Magna Financial. He went out of his way to help when we had a problem with the Spanish bank authorities.
