My experience with Luke at Bury St Edmunds branch could not have been better. Although I did not end up buying the vehicle (for reasons not his fault ) he was helpful , knowledgeable and courteous throughout our dealings .. and when I had to cancel the deal Luke actioned the cancellation with his usual courtesy and swiftness. Can only recommend from my experience.

Kyle Jenner picked up an escalation for a problem that I had been trying to resolve for approx. 6 weeks - top engagement, top communication and follow through. He resolved the problem in 24 hours - thank you Kyle!

I recently visited Premium Used Cars to view an Audi A4 Saloon (AJ66 YOE) and was extremely disappointed with the experience. I had hoped to receive premium service and transparency, but instead encountered numerous issues: Rude and Unprofessional Sales Representative: Initially, we were dealing directly with a gentleman who was professional and courteous, making the beginning of our experience much more positive. However, a female sales representative repeatedly interrupted our conversation, often being rude and dismissive. She constantly talked over me and displayed a pushy attitude, trying to close the deal before I even had a chance to thoroughly inspect the car. She contradicted herself multiple times and even lied about the vehicle’s condition. Misleading Information About Car Condition: I discovered that the car had been in a significant accident, resulting in a replacement of the OSR door, poorly done paintwork on the rear quarter panel, and a replaced rear window—none of which were disclosed before or during the viewing. Inaccurate Claims About Car Servicing: Premium Used Cars claimed the car had a recent full service with all fluids topped up. However, I quickly noticed that the windshield washer bottle was not full, contradicting their claim. When I pointed this out, the staff seemed surprised, which made me question the quality and thoroughness of the entire service. Unwelcoming Atmosphere: Unlike other dealerships where customer hospitality is standard, I was not offered any refreshments, yet the salesperson sat there drinking a hot tea in front of us. This came across as inconsiderate and unprofessional. Overall, this experience fell far short of what I expected from a reputable dealership. While the gentleman we initially dealt with was respectful and professional, the rest of the experience overshadowed his efforts. I would not recommend Premium Used Cars to anyone in search of a high-quality, transparent, and respectful car-buying experience.

It appears the Bury St Edmunds branch is severely understaffed. Yesterday I made 5 phone calls trying to contact the service desk. On each occasion the line was cut off presumably because I'd remained on the line too long. On other occasions I’ve had the same difficulties. Two years back I attempted to purchase a new ID3 for my wife having paid a deposit to hold the vehicle. I waited in the showroom close to an hour for an appointment. Eventually I gave up and walked out. Later I was phoned and reproached for being early for the appointment. Not true as it happens plus blaming the customer is never a good move. Needless to say I purchased an alternative EV from another supplier. Other issues include mistakes on the pricing of pre-paid service plans and unecessary replacement of wiper blades at excessive prices. Fortunately yesterdays experience led me to finding an independent VW specialist who couldn't be more helpful, so no more Marriott frustrations for me. Reading other reviews it appears customer difficulties could eminate from understaffing along with a strict/rigid management strategy which doesn’t translate to good customer service and possibly the cause of staffing issues/retention? Who knows? Presently if possible, I suggest a company to be avoided.

I sent an email to VW Ipswich about a vehicle I had seen advertised, I got a call back from Louis to say they couldn't get hold of that vehicle because it was under a different VW company but he was happy to help me find a vehicle and sent through some options. I was looking at a polo originally then changed my mind to a golf which was located at Kings Lynn. Louis got it sent to Ipswich very quickly so I could test drive it. I got a fair price which I was happy with for my part exchange. Louis replied to all emails quickly and I have never bought / sold a car so easily. So far I am very happy with the new car.

Vw Ipswich extremely poor sales team, ridiculous low & insulting trade in value a car brought from them, their car we enquired about was overpriced & only really interested in offering Pcp or Hp. Having used them in the past several times never again & would defiantly not recommend to any body.

Sold me a faulty car. Took the car back to check the problem further and in the end told me that the problem is normal. After the problem got worse I got a professional inspection done on the vehicle which in their report they told me there is a problem with the vehicle. So therefore it’s clear they lied to me so they don’t have to fork out money for repairs right after selling the vehicle to me. Baffled, will definitely be taking it further.

Car booked in for service and diagnostics fault on the steering wheel. Service wasn't completed. Tried to charge me £150 for diagnostics fee, as they couldn't find a fault. basically insinuating, I was lying. So basically a whole 8 and half hours wasted for no reason at all. Thanks Bury St Edmunds Volkswagen. Absolutely useless

Picked up brand new car in March, six weeks on software issue still not fixed and all settings on car are useless. Issue escalated formally to Audi, all Marriott motor group say is "we are really sorry". Not good enough, we don't want apologies we want you to DO something. If this was an item bought in a shop it would have been replaced by now, however we just get empty apologies and no action. We will be taking to trading standards and regulatory bodies. The service has been disgraceful.

Brought an approved VW Golf GTD a year ago from Wolsey Volkswagen in Ipswich. When it came to its annual service and MOT since it was approved used I did not think this would be an issue. I was wrong, both front brake discs were in need of replacing, the water pump had a potential leak, and the suspension rods also had signs of damage. Despite me only doing 7k mileage in the year apparently this was what caused the bad wearing of the brake discs. They would not back down but I suggest these were not checked properly when I brought the vehicle. Despite the suspension rods being damaged and covered by my warranty they would only change them if it caused the car to fail an MOT??? Finally they would look at the water pump which was suspected of leaking. However they would need to have the vehicle for three days to check it was leaking before replacing it! Not ideal. I made the wrong choice using these guys.

Try to book a commercial service with Jorge Hernandez at VW Ipswich. He must be the most unhelpful guy I have come across. Why do these fair size companies employ these kind of people who are the first contact with their company. Lost my future business for commercial van & new electric car. UPDATE: Standard reply from there customer service to everyone who leaves a negative review... my advice... address the basics in the beginning.

Bought an Audi from Ipswich Audi end of September 2023. Had an issue with the state of the car when it arrived but customer service was brilliant and John ensured that this was rectified as soon as possible. Never to this day received any confirmation for my roadside assistance, key cover or service plan but I am just hoping that has all been put through.

I had a problem that was more 'me' related rather than with my gorgeous new Tiguan! The receptionist who took my call was understanding and personable. Appointment made for the same day and Charlie was a star! Issue sorted! Excellent customer service. Thank you!

Shocking customer service at Ipswich Volkswagen, sold me approved used golf, told me it’s had all the checks, when driving the car at 50-60 mph, it makes a very loud humming noise, took it to another dealership who told me that Ipswich Volkswagen have put some very budget tyres on, they have never heard of the brand and that they need changing, contacted Ipswich Volkswagen who are just not interested, saying the tyres are ok, not interested in after sales, worst customer service, stay away from Marriott motor group! Definitely not the end of the matter.

Ipswich Audi leased us a car in July 2022. They had not checked the car thoroughly and we discovered at it's first service July 2023 at another Audi dealership that the engine had been remapped/altered. This would have affected the insurance and warranty. Also details of the mot had been ignored. None of this was known to us and we consider the car to have been misold. Ipswich Audi lent us a car for six weeks and after negotiations we received money back. However they didn't find us another suitable car and we are now without transport. A very stressful time caused by Ipswich Audi service department and sales department not checking the car before leasing it. A serious matter

Bought a near £60k car from Jamie De Bootman. What a god awful experience it has been. If you insist on buying Audi, do yourself a favour and shop elsewhere
