Aug 07,2024I would have had to pay $1,400 for a CT scan but it ended up being around $250 after calling MD save. I needed the CT for a sinus surgery and I was hesitant to move forward with the procedure because the CT was so expensive until my doctor told me about MD save program. THANK YOU!

However, five months after having my procedure, I received a bill from the provider that read “MD save has stated that this service was in eligible.“ however, it is the exact procedure I purchased and paid for. Out of fear for my credit rating, I’ve been in contact for nearly 2 weeks with the Dept MD save refers to as customer service. As of this writing, there has been no solution only excuses. I am at the point I’m going to need to take action to correct this and pay the provider myself to protect my credit. Be very cautious dealing with this company because it may be less hassle and worth the money to simply pay out right.

Aug 07,2024What a great idea this MDSave is!!!! I knew about it from a previous test when my doctor recommended it for a calcium test insurance would not cover, and just used it again for an MRI to check the health of my silicone breat implants. The hardest thing about it is remembering to bring the certificate with you. It's a breeze! Highly recommended for when insurance will not cover a procedure or test.

Aug 06,2024Using MDsave was no problem, but it did make getting my procedure more of a hassle overall. This was because my healthcare provider (the Imaging Center from Lutheran Hospital in Ft. Wayne) was super-disorganized. That said, I would use MDsave again because it did indeed save me some money!

Aug 06,2024I am so so so grateful that this option exists. My insurance company quoted over $3,000 for me to have a CT scan with contrast. Because I have insurance, that provider’s policy was to not allow me to self pay. I purchased a voucher for the procedure from MD Save for $300 and had the imaging ordered at a facility that partners with MD Save, and got the testing I needed for 10% of the cost. MD Save saved my peace of mind.

Aug 05,2024Everyone was very helpfull and the price was fair and affordable. The only downside is that I had to drive 143 miles to use the service. MDSaver needs to expand its network. I would think many hosptals would not mind participating considering all services are prepaid. Work with insurance comp and get paid in 90+ days or work with MDSave and get paid today....hummm and I suspect the pay is very close to the same. Thank you
