Medic Mentor (part of Mentorverse LTD) is a social enterprise made up of a UK-wide network of doctors, medical students, secondary students, parents and teachers. We reinvest into a variety of effective educational, pastoral and extra-curricular activities that support the doctors of tomorrow. We believe that it is absolutely vital to ensure that the UK’s doctors are happy, healthy and successful, because this will ultimately have a positive impact on the health of the population. We aim to do this by connecting incredible mentors with incredible students using the power of mentoring. Oct 05,2024The experience was great because it covered so many areas in such detail that it feels like I now have a good foundation to start building up on with work experience, volunteering and whatnot. The insight from the scholars was very useful in showing how relatively simple it can be to do well on an application as long as you don't panic and are dedicated in preparation, and hearing how much the company has to offer is assuring to know how accessible work experience is and how it can then be easy to build on that it an application.
