Jun 15,2021The best moving company EVER!!! Three gentlemen showed up EARLY, had me packed and loaded in a few hours and unloaded at my new place in an hour. They were professional and courteous. And the charge was what was quoted to me. I will recommend them to anyone I know needing moving or storage services. Keep up the good work!

Jun 09,2021The representative, Peter, that I arranged my move was not the greatest. When I arranged my move, over the phone, I told Peter I did not have a lot of pieces but several pieces were very large and very heavy. On the day of the move two of the pieces could not fit into my second floor apartment. Two of the men moving my things that day asked why someone did not come to my house prior to the move to look at the pieces and then look at where they were being moved to make sure they would fit as it could have been arranged to have the pieces hoisted over a balcony that went into my apartment. I called Peter a few days later and when I mentioned what two of the movers said he said they shouldn't have said that and they are too busy to go to every home to look at the pieces to be moved and then look where they are being moved to but he could arrange another move to have the 2 pieces moved. I was not happy with this answer but I still needed to have the rest of my things moved. Peter said he could wave the 4 hour minimum and just make it 2 hours but he would have to charge for 4 movers as that was needed to hoist furniture. I agreed to this. On the day of the second move 4 movers came but when I mentioned the hoisting of the 2 pieces they said they didn't know they were hoisting furniture and they weren't prepared. They had to call the office and have another truck come with the necessary equipment they needed to hoist the furniture. When it came time to pay the bill it showed a 4 hour minimum and when I said it was only supposed to be 2 hours they had no idea; so I just paid as I just wanted this whole ordeal to be over. FIVE STARS to the men of movers who came on both occasions. They could not have been more professional and courteous. They were terrific. If someone asks me if I would recommend Men On The Move I would be torn as the men who actually did the moving were just fantastic but would suggest they avoid speaking with Peter. Note: This is first poor review I have ever written. Normally I'm a pretty easy going person but this whole process really left a bad taste in my mouth.

Jun 02,2021They showed up over 2 hours late. I had to call them to find out when they were coming. Two guys showed up instead of the 3 I was quoted. They said my move was more than they could do in the time alloted. This was the holiday weekend. When I finally heard from someone days later after sending them an email, he said "sorry" they didnt have enough help. They're booked and can't move me for about 2 weeks. Would not recommend unless you want to chance not moving!

May 20,2021We used Men on the Move in May 2021. The three pleasant men arrived early. They calmly emptied out a large house and office very efficiently. They transported many items to my destination and filled the garage very neatly. The three worked tirelessly together. This was our third time using Men on the Move. We highly recommend them.

May 20,2021Men On The Move did an excellent job for me. They were perfect at every aspect of the move. I talked to Peter who helped me on the phone. On move day, the crew showed up early, worked for 4 hours and got me to my new apt, 2 hours away, and unpacked in 1 day. They were nice and hard working, and the move was a good price. I have never had such a smooth situation! Use these guys! They are great.

Jun 21,2021I was under a time constraint to move my belongings. James rearranged his schedule to accommodate my needs. The truck arrived early at the pick up location. They quickly and efficiently packed and loaded the truck in 3 hours. The crew was helpful, courteous, and friendly. They arrived early to the storage containers in Reading PA the next day. There they unloaded in under two hours. I would recommend this company to anyone moving off Long Island. Simply put, they are the best
