1. The umbrella and the base were shipped separately. 2. The base arrived with its packaging completely damaged, as if it was a returned item sent out again. 3. The umbrella that was delivered is a completely different model, and I was left with nothing usable when I needed it.

It has been five weeks since I ordered my umbrella. A few days after ordering, I received an email that is had shipped and gave me a tracking number. Two weeks later I checked the tracking number and it hadn’t left the warehouse. I called customer service and they said there was a mistake and they would fix it. Another week and a half goes by and nothing. I called again and was told it would be fixed and I would get a 10% reduction off of the price. Another week passes and no umbrella and no credit was issued. A few days later I called again and this time was told that my umbrella was on back order. Fuming - I asked to speak to a manager and after waiting on hold for 10 minutes was told a manager would call me back. Again - no return call, no email, nothing. I called again the next day, confident that this company is a total sham and just wanted to cancel my order. After requesting a total refund, a manager told me that there was a mistake and the umbrella would be here Monday and issued me a 10% refund. It is supposedly going to be here Monday. I would never by from this company again.

I was looking for a reasonably priced, smaller sized, quality umbrella and this product was one of the few I could find. Arrived quickly and was exactly what we needed.

I mistakenly ordered the wrong color umbrella and midtown kindly replaced the umbrella canopy with the color I wanted. It was very easy to change out the canvases. Customer service was excellent.

Grande Umbrella is attractive and seems somewhat sturdy. However, the "silver" finish is more like painted grey and the notches to raise up/down are made of plastic...which won't last long here in Texas. Very dissappointed in the base. Attachement area is plastic and full of various holes, making it weak and possibly a mosquito haven. One bolt did not thread correctly.

It's been a year since I purchased two of these umbrellas. I bought an 8 foot and a 9 foot both with covers. They held up nicely for the last year and I can tell you that they still look new. I can see us getting a few more years out of them. I would definitely recommend these to my friends. Not only is the quality great, but their customer service was outstanding.

Excellent product and service. We had trouble with the FedEx delivery and Midtown was very helpful with the tracking process. We had calls and updates from MIDTOWN . The best service I have ever experienced from a company! We love the umbrella.

The box containing my cantilever umbrella was split in half when I received my product - not their fault. The base was also damaged - also not their fault. Both products were notably damaged, I informed the company, provided photos, and asked for a return via email - their phone number is not in service (1-888-868-5455 this is straight off their site....go ahead and try it yourself...). It has not been nearly a month since I initially contacted them and they keep telling me that they can send me a replacement canopy and offer me a discount despite me repeatedly telling them that I just want to return the product. I resorted to filing a claim with American Express, having already spent multiple hours attempting to return.

I placed an order for a SUPREME umbrella ($1800) almost two months ago. Several weeks went by, then I got a shipping notification and after several weeks... nothing happened. I contacted the company and was told THIS: We are writing to inform you that unfortunately, the Sunbrella Natural canopies are currently out of stock. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. If you would like, we can offer you an alternative Sunbrella color for your canopy. Please let us know if you would be interested in selecting a different Sunbrella color, and we will be happy to assist you with your order. Despite the company taking my money, no one reaching out to tell me that even though I had a shipping notification there was no umbrella on the way and nothing in stock, I picked a new color and new order was placed. This process took almost a month and the process started over. The EXACT same thing happened. Shipping notification a few weeks later... no product arrived, reached out to company and got this today: We are writing to inform you that unfortunately, the Sunbrella Aruba canopies are currently out of stock. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. If you would like, we can offer you an alternative Sunbrella color for your canopy. Please let us know if you would be interested in selecting a different Sunbrella color, and we will be happy to assist you with your order. At this point, they seem to have no idea between their Chinese supplier/factory and what they actually have. I will likely have to dispute the charge with AMEX as I have little faith now that this company knows what they are doing or that I will ever get a product or that they know what they have in stock. BE WARE! All your orders come straight from China and you may or may not ever actually get it.

Customer service with this company went above and beyond , and these days that means the world to me !!!! The price of the umbrella was very reasonable for the quality of the product and it fits perfectly on our back deck . We can adjust it and move it over our chairs or move it over the top of the hot tub …. I can’t wait to use it while it’s raining or snowing ! Great strong base as well !!!’

The quality of the umbrella I ordered is excellent. It replaced an umbrella I had used for thirty-plus years that was damaged in a windstorm. I expect that this one could last as long.

they delivered when they said that they would, so I had them the day before my big party. I thought that I had ordered stands on wheels, but I didn't receive them. Did I imagine that they had two wheels? If you do make them, please send two to me and use my credit card info from the last purchase.

Terrible buying experience...6 weeks and 2 umbrellas later, we still can't set up our umbrella! We were very excited to receive our umbrella from Midtown, as we were having a family gathering and needed shade in the 100 degree weather. When we received our umbrella, not only were the parts completely missing to allow us to even set up the umbrella, but the entire umbrella was damaged and appeared used and the box had parts in it that weren't even theirs!! We reached out to Midtown to get a replacement, which they sent to us, and once again, no parts!! It is now 6 weeks later from order date and we still are not able to use the umbrella, with no recourse or care, beyond just sending us a replacement....as they should. We were also told that all returned items get donated, while a customer support agent told us after the fact that they in fact do resell and do not donate. Seems a little shady to me. I wish I could speak to the quality of the umbrella, but who knows when that will be!

the umbrella was crooked and damaged when it arrived, I emailed a return request immediately, 6 days later still haven't heard from them. Tried calling, on hold forever and gave up, finally got a hold of them and they told me they are forwarding my email and I should get a return label soon. Um that is not excellent customer service, that is zero CS. These umbrellas are not worth the ridiculous prices, I would have thought for the prices you would actually get great CS, nope!! will not buy from companies that don't look after their customers. Update there are no emails from you in my inbox or junk. There are no phone calls from you!
