AVOID at all costs. As a business we have had MF installed now for around 4-5 years and we have had nothing but issues. We were sold the dream to begin with and to this day we are still working between 2 MF systems, a web page and a really old fashioned windows version, were most of the work behind the scenes is carried out. There are constant issues with the system. I contact MF for support and never receive any. We always have to figure it out for ourselves with our own IT team. The support from them is shocking. I couldn't even tell you who our support Manager is? We are now in the process of going elsewhere after so much time and dedication put into MF, it is such a shame.
Support operatives are very capable, knowledgeable and helpful. The problem is you will very rarely ever speak to one. Calling the Support number will ring out 99% of the time and you cannot leave a message. Support tickets raised electronically go unassigned for days, and in some cases it has been weeks without getting a response. For a general support desk, this is bad enough, but when dealing with Financial software it is disastrous! Issues have led to weekly payroll not running and obviously disgruntled staff as a result. The year end procedure causes issues without fail and is a known problem area for the company. Known, but evidently not dealt with, as it has not improved. Mitrefinch was average before, but significantly worse since Advanced acquired it. Account Manager escalations are pointless as promises and reassurances are never actually followed through. This is the first bad review I have ever left for any company but feel if I have warned one person to stay away, it would have been worthwhile.
We have a help desk ticket on a month ago, this is "on hold" for some reason - what's happening? We have another ticket on 2 days old followoing a serious failing of one of your barriers - still no response. This is not our interpretation of "an Advanced company".
All the consultants we have dealt with have been very knowledgeable, efficient and patient. They all have good teaching skills which has made the new software much easier to understand and learn. The only thing that has let them down were the wrong terminals being sent to us and the time it has taken to rectify the issue.

We have been with Mitrefinch now for several years and use the bio metric readers and the tms system, what a great system, cuts down on paperwork and it is so adaptable to your needs. A great tool to capture productivity. Always a first class service from consultants and the support team.

We had an issue which we could not find an answer to, and as we were working remotely did not have access to all we needed. We phoned support, and after a relatively short wait given the current working conditions we were answered and the consultant immediately knew what the issue was and sent over the relevant file to cure our problem. This was all resolved in a efficient and professional manor
Whilst my IT team are on furlough it was left to me to resolve an issue with our payroll. I found working with Mitrefinch Support such a refreshing experience. The phone was answered promptly and professionally and my issue was resolved within minutes.
I had a problem with our clocking in system. I emailed Mitre Finch and got a speedy reply with several options of what i could try. Problem solved on first attempt no messing about with emails back and forth. Brilliant

Mitrefinch TMS support team was really helpful to find me a solution for my complex work rule calculation for employees overtime. Quick response time. Recommend their system to potential new customers as it is very user friendly.
Mitrefinch as a system is fantastic and has significantly reduced our admin time however the system is not fully customisable as first stated in our initial meeting. That said the Helpdesk support that I have received from Mitrefinch, especially Daniel Snaith - Senior Support Analyst, has been efficient and pragmatic and he has managed to solve the majority of my queries. We have also had Stefan McNamara as our Consultant for the past few tasks and he is by far one of the top consultants at Mitrefinch. If we had Stef from the start I believe a lot of our teething issues would have been ironed out quicker than they have. My major issue with Mitrefinch is the fact that we have been charged for extra days to resolve a calculation that was in the original scope which i believe to be a dishonest approach.
Support is generally spot on. The guys on there really go out of their way to solve your query/problem and help you as much as they can to provide a solution. Response times are generally very good too, even engineer callouts for hardware related queries.
I use mitrefinch for Time and attendance and prodcing ID cards. It is simple to use and report on although we dont use it to its full capabilities. I never have a problem getting through the the helpdesk and they are always friedly and helpful generally resolving issues the same day.
I recently needed to make some system amendments in TMS and contacted Mitrefinch support via email. I got an almost instant response and a resolution to my query within the hour. The instructions I received were really easy to follow and I was able to make the amendments without any issue.
Stepping up into my new role I was a bit lost when it came to computer work however mitrefinch took all my issues in board and held my hand and walked me through it, excellent service, 100% would recommend to anybody. Thanks

Dec 20,2024Very poor after sales service. When I tried to cancel the subscription, they looked for a full years payment despite the notice. They then referred it to a debt collection agency! Despite attempts to reach a compromise, coupled with the difficult trading environment we are in, they still insisted on full payment, threatening full recourse if I didn't pay. Had to pay the full amount as it was stressing me out. Will NEVER use this company again.
