Apr 28,2021So far I've only used the Personal statement, 3 rounds of editing service, but plan on using them for more of my application. I was a little skeptical at first because their price points were so much lower than the other options I was looking at, but I'm happy to say that I was extremely impressed with the service provided. I got back my edited essay very quickly, like 1-2 days, and the feedback was very extensive, inlcuding things like small word changes that helped the overall tone of the statement. Would highly recommend, especially if you are on a budget!

They helped me each step of the way- Essay, Secondary Essays, Interview prep and follow up letters. I believe they are the best service out there with their prices and packaging. The others are way too expensive and provide lesser value in my experience.

Mar 18,2021Applying for medical school is challenging. It involves so much contemplation, reflection, and writing. Therefore, I wanted to best present myself when I apply to schools. I spoke with at least a dozen of consulting services; however, those other companies did not have customer service skills. On my last search, I was lucky to find MotivateMD and had the chance to speak with Becca and Drew. They were a breath of fresh air. They thoroughly took the time to hear my story, provided me honest feedback, and were flexible with my requests. I bought their Ultimate Acceptance package, and I was paired with really wonderful tutors! Quinn has done a wonderful job of guiding me throughout the application process. He really helped me brainstorm and reflect on significant experiences that contributed to my medical journey, and he has genuinely helped me become more confident in writing my story. Overall and after comparing many med school app consulting services, I believe that MotivateMD is by far the most empathetic, cost-effective, and efficient company.

I was also wondering which interview prep company to choose as there are so many out there! Motivate MD provided me excellent care at an amazing price. You don’t have to spend thousands of dollars to ace your interview. My tutor, Emma, was unbelievably dedicated. She tailored my interview to my Med Programs needs and provided me feedback that was super specific and helpful. Throughout our session she reinforced lessons that I needed to keep in mind while encouraging me in a way the boosted my confidence! They also worked with my tight schedule and always made me feel comfortable reaching out and asking for what I needed. Becca is amazing with communication and provides such personalized help that it makes you feel like your speaking to someone you already know. Trust these guys, they are amazing!

Mar 07,2021I was hesitant to buy a service like this, as I've heard rather lacklustre things about other med school prep services like BeMo. I purchased an interview prep package, just to see what they could do, and was immediately impressed by how quickly they reached out and helped me plan my mock interviews. They changed the package content at my request to fit my needs, and everyone I was in contact with was a med school student, so they knew what to expect and how to coach me. My experience was pleasant across the board.

I was applying for residency and they were able to help me with both my personal statement and interview prep. Becca, Heather, and Michaela were so helpful and they really make sure they do everything in their power to help you succeed. I highly recommend Motivate MD, not only because of the fabulous staff, but also because it is extremely affordable. They will work with you to customize packages specifically for you. I highly suggest using Motivate MD with any help you need, and I am confident that you will succeed in whatever they help you with.

May 19,2021I worked with Akintha to edit my primary application (re-applicant) and I really feel like she helped me take what I have and improve it immensely. She helped me take out fluff and show me what to focus on in my activities and helped me reduce the word count when need. Most importantly she was always on time in our meetings and got me my revisions back in a timely manner. Lastly Becca (in operations) was the best, she was always available by when needed and worked with me to find the cheapest way to get help in my application. I really recommend this service for any one who isn't a strong writer (i.e Me) or any one who really doesn't want their application the reason they miss out on a seat in medical school.
