Jan 25,2025Hi all I can only speak on my own personal experience as a parent trying to get extra tutoring for my daughter in Maths using MyTutor. The tutor is called Umama A. as it appears on profile, I thought great friendly picture and 5 star reviews well 4 to be exact at the time. You will learn why it is 4 reviews at 5 star later on. First lesson I thought ok from observation 2nd lesson- 5 mins late, finished lesson 5 mins early. 3rd lesson- 10 mins late notified of this 30 mins before lesson due to begin, didn’t add the 10 mins on I point this out to people in charge of business, they suggested I go with new tutor, I explain I would like continuity for my daughter’s sake. I message Umama directly through messaging on my account regarding this unprofessional approach, she apologies back on message. I feel we both now on same page with helping my daughter. 4th lesson- cannot make it due to train accident, notified 5 mins before start of lesson!!!! I was furious I leave a review about my experience with Umama A. which was 1 star and details of my experience with her as a tutor for my daughter. The business emails me about 5 times asking/telling me to change or delete the review, which I refused. They then delete my review. So to be clear reviews you see on their site for tutors I believe to be doctored. AVIOD using mytutor’ they are just there to collect money with zero care of helping with tutoring.

Jan 11,2025We turned up at 10.30 (having paid and confirmed our lesson earlier in the week). No sign of the tutor. I sent a message and an email, and used the chat facility. After 11.00 I got a message to say that there had been a bereavement. And then later to say it was exam period combined with an "unexpected loss". I don't know whether the tutor had told MyTutor (who had forgotten to cancel the lesson) or whether she had forgotten to cancel the lesson, but either way, it was a disappointing start with MyTutor.

Jan 11,2025My son looks forward to having his sessions with Christian. He said that Christian helped him understand Maths and Science better, and, as parent, I feel that my son's confidence is growing. I would highly recommend Christian!

Jan 09,2025My Son had to resit his GCSE English exams, we used my tutor for some extra lessons. Niamh S was absolutely brilliant. I'm happy to say that my son has passed his English exams with flying colours. Very happy with the quality of tutors, I would highly recommend.

Jan 07,2025Being able to see the feedback that my daughter is receiving and also receiving feedback from the tutor for me is very informative and keeps me in the loop. My daughter seems to be enjoying and benefitting from the lessons and I hope that this will reflected in her mock exams.

Jan 07,2025I like the feedback that I get after each lesson on what was covered, what can be improved and what will be covered in the following session. One aspect that could be improved is details of any homework assigned to the student.

Feb 07,2025Very disappointed with customer service side. After a year a we have been charged 18% higher prices without warning. When we said we cannot afford the unexpected increase very sarcastic customer service executive cancelled all our pre booked lessons. What a way to treat a client
