Aug 18,2023My son was tutored by Jasmine for A-level Chemistry in Year 13. He was struggling with understanding the subject and how to retain the information for revision, and was getting E’s in his mocks. Jasmine has been a great support to him, structuring the sessions around my son’s needs and explaining things clearly. She also helped guide him with revision and exam preparation. His confidence and work ethic increased significantly and he achieved a C for his final grade! He says this is definitely down to Jasmine’s excellent support and he is very pleased as he has had his firm choice university place confirmed. Thank you Jasmine!

Aug 18,2023There's been good and bad over the years, but I can't help but be disheartened by the recent price changes. My clients will now pay £5 more per session than last year, from which my take home pay will increase by 50p per session. MyTutor still suggest that tutors 'set their own prices' and tell those who are priced out that they have cheaper (likely meaning less experienced) tutors to replace us with.

Aug 18,2023We had tutors (Ava and Hope) for 2 of our sons A levels, Physiology and History after his mocks gave him horrific grades. Yesterday we celebrated a BBB result and entry to his 1st choice University. His tutors were able to explain structure and content in a way that made sence to a teenager!!! thankyou Ava and Hope xxx

And the tutor we picked (after the interview) was excellent: Knowledgeable (beyond regular expectations), personable (he genuinely cared), flexible (offered advice whenever requested), and ultimately achieved the desired goal (predicted B to very strong A). Aug 18,2023Hannah was my daughter’s Biology tutor and she was amazing - she lifted her predicted grade by 1 grade and this resulted in my daughter getting into her firm choice and a Russell group University. Without My Tutor and Hannah - we could t have done it - well worth the time and investment- thank you so much to the My Tutor and of course Hannah our amazing Tutor!!!

Aug 18,2023My daughter's tutors, Jasmin (Biology) and Georgie (Psychology) are very patient and knowledgeable. They both take time to tailor the lesson for my daughter's learning. We have worked with Jasmin for 2 or 3 years now. She supported my daughter through GCSE and now A levels. Nothing is too much trouble for her and her caring nature shines through in her teaching. My daughter has worked with Georgie this year, and finds her lessons very beneficial. Both Jasmin and Georgie deserve an award for being such excellent teachers.

Aug 18,2023Kleoniki is an amazing tutor and I highly recommend her. My daughter really struggled with chemistry and failed her prelim. She was advised not to sit NAT5, but with Kleoniki's help in a space of just 3 months she got a A in NAT5 chemistry and is a lot more confident in it.

Aug 18,2023I can hand on heart say that without Bethan, from My Tutor, my son would not have gotten into his first choice Uni today. We felt that he wasn’t getting the right support from his College as he didn’t know how to attack exams. He’s been a GCSE covid year so had my sat major exams in his room and they weren’t addressing this. She not only improved his Media mock from a D to a B but with her exam guidance improved his Business Studies from a E to a B and Psychology from an F to a D. THANK YOU Bethan!!! I will definitely use My Tutor again for my daughter based on Bethan’s help.

Aug 18,2023My son and I rate Molly as an award-worthy Physics tutor. In just a few months between a disappointing mock and the actual A Levels she engaged and inspired him, ultimately increasing two grades and giving him what he needs for his first choice University. We initially engaged Molly just to get him through, but she did so much more than that, with her passion for her subject really rubbing off so that it went beyond just passing the exam to actually sparking a deeper interest in the subject. He genuinely looked forward to his weekly sessions with Molly and went into the A Level confident that he could give it his best shot, and the hard work paid off. We can’t thank Molly enough and thoroughly recommend her to anyone needing to up their game and fall back in love with Physics.

Aug 17,2023MyTutor has been a really good experience. Lucas was a great tutor, very well prepared, and so easy to get along with. He took time to review some of the trickier physics topics and past papers. I think it made a huge difference, not just in the form of a pass mark but also in increased confidence to tackle some more difficult questions.

Aug 17,2023Nya has helped me hugely in A-Level chemistry. Initially lacking the confidence and skill crucial for the course, with Nya's lessons, I was able to excel in the A-Level. I really appreciated her patience and enthusiasm in every lesson. In my exams determining my UCAS grades, I achieved the top grade in chemistry. Since starting tutoring, I have shifted my degree choice - to one that now focuses heavily on chemistry - thank you Nya!

Aug 17,2023George was fantastic at helping my Son through is A Level Maths, with weekly lessons starting last November when we were looking at a grade E, achieving a grade B today. Amazing, a very happy son now accepted into University. George was always flexible with times and very calm and reassuring building confidence. Highly recommend.

Aug 17,2023Faatimah J Alevel Sociology My daughter joined my tutors when she was in year 12, she was struggling in Alevels Sociology, once she took lessons she improved so much and she passed her Alevels sociology. Faatimah J has great teaching skills and the knowledge she passed on to my daughter has helped a lot. I really appreciate all the help and support she has given towards to my daughter. Faatimah J is the best I rate her 10 out of 10.
