Wonderful experience. First time going to an open air concert in Italy with One Traveller. As expected, well organised, with not too many early morning starts! Downside, unfortunately weather was extremely hot and a lot of walking up steep mountain village roads. Being 78, I certainly became fit on this trip!
Tour Manager Charles was very good kept us informed.17 July to 24th Good Group.
One Traveller looks after its customers very well. They are professional, organised and knowledgeable. They provide many extras to their trips and hotels are usually a very good standard. Sometimes the itinerary is hectic and involves early morning starts. Otherwise I would definitely recommend them for mature solo travellers.
Have already submitted a review on my return from Sweden No need to remind me again Thank you
Brilliant communication, the best Tour Manager ever and a totally personal approach.
Wonderful holiday. Lovely people. Good tour leader. Felt safe and well looked after.
Really well organised
This was a most enjoyable break based in and around Oxford. We stayed in a good hotel in a lovely setting; the food was excellent; the well organized tours were interesting and varied; Steven was an efficient, friendly tour manager; we were busy, but had plenty of time to relax.
so well organised from start to finish
This was an excellent trip & our tour manager Richard did a splendid job under difficult circumstances. The only reason I have not given 5 stars is : You claim they are tours for the. MATURE traveller, but these 4 days were so crammed & in heat conditions of 35degrees, I’m surprised that no one was taken ill. I shall look carefully at itinerary before I choose again
Well supported and so felt safe at all times. Some of the walks might not suit all travellers owing to terrain and duration. Dining opportunities for the most part excellent.
The organisation on board was exceptional and thanks to our Tour Manager Lisa Chadwick who went that extra mile. Food was great as was the service. I have no criticisms at all. Didn't see much wildlife but nothing can be done about that. My only criticism would be the excursion on to Stornoway/Lewis which had very little of interest
Great tour manager and friendly group. Baltic states interesting and colourful with history. Good local guides and coach driver added to the experience
This was a great experience for mature people as every thing was catered for. You can use wheelchairs and trolleys if necessary. I would highly recommend One Traveller for older people.
Too expensive. Not very good value for money. Not enough time given to view places of interest. The brochure was not honest enough about the strenuous nature of this holiday: too many steep hills, lots of deep stairs. The details of the connecting flights to/from London arrived very late, just 2 to 3 days before departure. Too late to change anything. Very inconvenient times. While the tour manager was very nice, he didn't know much about the country we were visiting!
This was my first holiday with One Traveller, and from the very beginning I felt safe and able to enjoy what was to come!
Wonderful holiday for first time traveller with your company. Superb tour guide - couldn't have asked for better. Patient, well informed, easy going, smart and good company. Lovely hotel, perfect itinerary and met lots of like-minded people, so lots of chat and friendship. Would highly recommend.
Well managed from start to finish. Extremely interesting itinerary, lovely hotels, great bunch of people.
The holiday was good if rather exhausting because of the heat (37 degs). It was let down by the quality of the food in the hotel. Plus some of us were charged £40.00 to put our 1 case in the hold with Easijet, because others had put in 2. It was not clear on the documentation that only 1 bag was allowed in the hold without paying extra.

Aug 09,2024Overall, this holiday was very good. The hotel was clean and well appointed with spacious areas including the bedrooms. Meals were buffet style with a good selection and One Traveller guests had an area to themselves with tables overlooking the lake. The holiday was not exactly restful with excursions every day, apart from last day, starting between 8 and 9 am but the coach was very comfortable and the driver's skills excellent taking us to a variety of Slovenia's attractions. Charles the Tour Manager was very caring and patient and remarkably, remembered everyones name by Day 2!
